You stil have not answered sir! We are all fans and we have at one point or the other suggested names here even though we all know we can't fly to Barcelona to present our cases. When the issue of Pogba was rife, many suggested Verrati, coutinho, gundogan etc. When we were bashing Alves then, many came up with names for his replacement, same for Valdes and every other player that have been criticised at one point or the other.
You claimed Busi is below average, and you are to at least suggest one or two names that you think will perform better and slot in seamlessly into the team, not that you or any of us has the power to fly to Barca, you mentioned Sammer, Veron and co who are no longer playing. Even your partner suggested Coq with some few names that he feels are better. So, why can't you also suggest one and lets see if he can fare better than Busi.

You see, I've read previous posts where people claimed Busquets makes up for his lack of physical presence and agility by being cerebral. I can only laugh. The truth is ALL defensive midfielders are cerebral by nature. It is a given. You cannot play that role if you are not technically gifted and sharp. There is an obvious reason why the best coaches were defensive midfielders in their playing days (pretty obvious). This is because as a DM you are already doing the duties of a coach. You are reading the game. You see the entire game due to your default location; the way a striker who is usually way upfront cannot see.

While I'm not looking for a Sammer who could carry his team to win the Champions League while playing as a Libero (for obvious reasons - that will change the leadership dynamics), I expect a more disciplined player who tends to lose the ball less, if at all.

Busquets can still do that but he needs to work on himself and discipline himself. It doesn't take much to put the ball out of touch if you sense you might lose it. That's what really smart DMs do.

It's a rarity because I have watched far better Holding Midfielders play that role for Barca. Busquets does not compare favorably with Guardiola for instance. If you ever watched Guardiola play, you would know what I'm talking about.

No one has ever compared Busi to Pep and no Barca fan will. If I may ask, how many Guardiola's can we find out there today? And who would you suggest we play as our midfield since Busi is average. Your honest answer bro, who can we deploy there that would fit expertly there and offer a Guardiola-esque performance for us?
