If you have to take tech advice from a grandfather then that's on you!
You should qualify Lai Muhammed by saying archaic grandfather.
Millions of grandfathers have more sense than that man.
Between him and the cattle rearer in aso rock,I wonder who makes me more horrible and nauseated whenever I hear or even see them in pictures.
So much crap, hypocrisy, lies and dumbness from 2 individuals.
Politics › Re: Refinery: NNPC Has Collected Bribe Of $100m From Dangote, Jackson Ude Alleges by seborrhic: 7:01pm On Jun 26, 2021
Even if his allegation of bribe turns out not to be true, that the Nigerian government through the NNPC has rushed to invest 30% claim in Dangote refinery,an originally projected entirely private refinery by Dangote, shows how shady Dangote has been all the while in his business dealings.
Dangote has like the average Nigerian multimillionaire, got stupendously rich chiefly from Nigerian government funds and contracts,I see no real businessman in him despite what some people might say.
I won't be surprised if the 30% invested goes to his pocket while the government becomes the one servicing the loan he borrowed.
At the end he would have effectively invested zero dollar in the refinery because it would effectively have been funded by the Nigerian government through the banks. He more or less just served as a guarantor of the loans he borrowed, the government doing all the payment while still paying him 30% upfront and making him the chief shareholder of the refinery.

TalkTalkTwins:
Sometimes even these big men have entitlement mentalities.
The earlier you understand that no one is owing you, the lesser you make statements like people abandoned you.

Your friends would be big men like you too, who have loans to deal with, maybe bad relationships with their families, couple wahala, business loses, health complications and stuff.
Why would you think they'd dump all those to carry your matter on their heads?

Omo no one owes you anything, not even love, not loyalty.
In the end your family is all you have!
Another point of view and a good one at that.
Remember reading a shocking story of a professor of medicine who had trained several doctors, some even working abroad. He had a health challenge, kidney issues I recall and was soliciting for ₦25million or so to either get treatment or complete the funds needed for him to be flown to India for treatment.
Next thing I read was that he had died without those funds being got.I was just wondering if the man didn't have ₦25m and it just occurred to me he may have spent all he had during the initial phase of the treatment necessitating his being referred abroad or he had spent most on him on other family commitments or issues, not knowing he would face that kind of health challenge.
Indeed, big men too have their own financial challenges, some of which, ironically they can't even overcome on their own, despite them being well to do

Inflation of prices, receiving money for jobs not done;these are typical Nigerian ways of doing business;these are how 70% at least of Nigerian richmen make their money.
Zenith just couldn't differentiate between the Nigerian way and how people and organisations in other climes do legitimate business.

At least this shows she had a bad streat in her.
It gives one some bit of hope that a girl or woman cannot just be bad over night because the impression had been given that she was a good, innocent girl.
This was a situation of 2 bad people meeting with bad outcomes, one unfortunately died in the process, the other has her life changed for ever,in prison for probably rest of her adult life

His inbuilt blood borne nepotism would not allow him to even pretend to appointing a southerner alone.
Whenever a southerner is appointed,he makes it a point of duty to announce appointment or reappointment of another northerner.
Less than 2 years and the worst person to ever rule Nigeria would be gone forever from any leadership position.

Rather,Buhari should be more concerned that a particular ethnic group has successfully harboured a disdain for him, right from his failed military experiment and now into a second tenure as a president.
2 years from now at most,he will leave that office, but the Igbo nation would remain and the history will be that of an ethnic group who by a monumental majority, saw him for the failure he would be and factually turned out to be.

When you now acknowledge the fact that ALL APC government officials or other APC office orders are either more corrupt or at best equally as corrupt as Abaribe, you got to give him Kudos for being far better those apc hypocrites in both principles, practice and relative enrichment

Just 5 alumni making a more than 30 years federal University, one of the acclaimed topmost in the SouthSouth region proud.
To have even added Alex Otti amongst the top 5,then Silva,a first class criminal, shows how miserable the school products have been.
P.S.Just saw the story is originally from IgbereTV.

Why can't they just say they arrested some suspects because I don't see those Omo onile with the kind of sighters they have situated at strategic points of building and village sites, waiting for the police to come, then even being out chased by the police when they came for arrest.
This also makes me believe that the ₦400k the woman claimed was stolen is either outrightly false or highly padded up.
All the same these Omo onile guys can sometimes be very callous, violent and resistant to all manner of pleas by struggling home builders.
So they deserve no pity.

The contradiction in the Nigerian situation is that the North that has borne the most brutal brunt of Buhari's serial leadership failures, still support him 100%.
That is a mindset that will set any nation back donkey years.
In a sane region, there should be daily, massive protests across all northern states demanding Buhari steps down.
But bigotry, illiteracy and clannishness would not allow them even know how much they are dying under his incompetence.
These protesters should just go on their daily hussle.
No one should cry more than the bereaved.

Christianity Etc › Re: Father Mbaka Pays Hospital Bills Of Patients Worth Over ₦18.8 Million (Video) by seborrhic: 6:41am On Jun 20, 2021
owobokiri:
You do have a point.
There is a big danger of a runaway priest capitalizing on his popularity to start off business ventures with the name of the church and more or else doing things that are contrary to the canon dictates.. But the problem here is that catholic church has failed in finding very steady and reliable ways of sourcing funding. From inception in Nigeria, the catholic church largely depended on donations and offerings from the members. Lately, launchings and dramatic "bazaars"! This is not helping out as they should considering the fact that the population of worshippers keep increasing while the earning power of the church keeps depreciating across board as poverty levels rise. If you go to the villages, most catholics leaving the church for the pentecostals are always aggrieved with the high level of monetary demands..

But the fact remains that the church has the highest numbers of men and women who devout their life, times and work for the church. The father's and sisters and brothers! How do they feed? How do they drive and maintain their cars, maintain parish/Father's houses and run the parish without always begging for money from all sorts of people including the corrupt? I think the answer is in making reasonable and calculated honest investments in very clean areas of the economy! That way the church makes some money without scaring folks away with endless demands for "donations". It's demoralizing watching bishops and Rev Fathers sheepishly line up to either solicit the attention of obviously corrupt politicians or daredevil "business men" just because they want to complete the church building! But yes; it has to be a structured and well defined pattern of investments regulated by the church in a very clean way..
You are still completely missing the point.
The point I am making is that Mbaka is setting up more or less personal businesses and not as a church enterprise.
I won't be surprised to find out that in the CAC documentation,he is listed as d sole director of the businesses he is setting up.
Your line of argument is like for conjecture,he is found to have fathered a child as a priest and that child is now doing very well in school. So everyone now continues hearing his sermons on service days and praising what he is doing, even all worshippers in his parish publicly acknowledging he has a child. But having a child as a priest is against your priesthood and results in being derobed.Thousands of priests that have been tempted on a regular basis have resisted the urge to have sexual relations, but other parishioners of his now fully embrace his 'sin'.

Oga, try dey do research before spitting shit. Offering money alone from Adoration in a Month can pay that. He built Aqua rapha water and Yogurt which is one of the big beverage companies in the south east. Almost all Enugu, ebonyi and abia consumes it.
centoke30:
who owns Aqua Rapha company biko?
Celebrating and promoting rubbish and 'doctrinal inmorality'.
How many factories did Okogie own during his entire priesthood, how many did Onaiyekan own during his priesthood.
If reverend fathers were at liberty to set-up personal businesses, you think many would not enjoy better prosperity from offerings and tithes than father Mbaka?
That you people do not even see the utter wrong in a reverend owing a business just falls into the mentality of Nigerians coming to accept many wrongs as right.
If he wants to be a pentecostal priest he should go ahead and be as prosperous as he probably has dreamt of since his childhood, but he should not use the catholic church as a front for his pentecostal like fame/wealth seeking adventure.

This one is a worldly, publicity hunting pastropreneur.
The way I knew it,a Catholic priest goes with the society or group that donated money or he solicits money from to the hospital or beneficiaries and says this is what members of my church parish donated for this cause.
Someone should tell me the work Mbaka does,a supposed salary earning priest,to have ₦18million of his own money to give to a facility.

Yet the western world subsides families feeding, child care and even pays each person unemployed unemployment benefit.
If Nigerians enjoy 1/10th the subsidies foreign governments give their citizens, the IMF would have labelled our system archaic and the citizens being set-up to be doomed in future.
Here there is no unemployment benefit, there is no child subsidy, there is no subsidy for some agricultural products and certainly no guaranteed food bank.
Rubbish.

bro stick to the message not the messengers.
Which message when the messenger is a known peddler of lies.
How many times have SR stories been found to be pure lies, not even just not being the whole truth.
A recent instance was just yesterday, the very day they claimed Tinubu was very sick in France,he returned from England that same day!
Unless u are a very sick individual you must get turned off when a medium as a policy,on a consistent basis, makes up stories.
I bet you if malacious, purely fabricated stories are made about Sowore, you would see the animal in him.
No normal human being should rejoice when someone spreads lies about you for the whole world to read.Aside being damaging,it destroys your family, relations and friends.
The only caveat is that I don't pity this government because they were the same set probably bribing and feeding SR lies to write about it's predecessor.

It's only with SR I see the need to regulate the social media and impose easier and stricter penalties for defamation and false news peddlers.
It should however be done by the next government, not this present hypocritical one that benefitted from SR lies, but don't want same measure dished out to them.
