Crime › Re: Lawyer: My Mother's Driver & His Brother Killed & Put Her Body In Deep Freezer by seborrhic:
Their life is not in your hands.
Its in that of the court.
Once murder is established, the sentence in Nigeria is death, so anyone trying to make you feel like one god to determine a man's faith is deceiving you or you are deceiving yourself.
You have no say in the sentencing once guilt is established.
If you want to play god or make yourself that important, the only option is to withdraw the case, the possibility of which I even doubt.
*In short, now that I have even given it a deeper thought and analysis,op,I feel you are deluded that you can determine their faith. Murder is a capital crime against the state, investigated by the state(police),so established and accused charged to court after advice by DPP.All these have nothing to do with you wanting it or not.In fact if you try to tamper with a murder investigation or charge, you may be docked with an accessory charge.Sentencing itself is established by law,the judge is even most times constrained by the provisions of the law.

Politics › Re: Omisore Enters Coalition With APC - Sahara Reporters by seborrhic: 5:20pm On Sep 26, 2018
Didn't know Omisore is this poor a politician because he is about to lose the aura of power and mystification he was assumed to hold over Ife.
Ife total PVC is 791.
50 % turn out=345.
No matter what he says a lot of people will still vote PDP for reasons beyond Omisore.
What a smart politician should have done is to state that he will discuss with his people and whichever party they agree to support will be binding on all those to vote that day. This way he doesn't commit to any so that whoever emerges winner gets to feel he tinted the votes in their favor.
He thus keeps his aura and possible say in the new goverment.By showing his hands this way,he makes it all or none. That's a poor politician for you.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Newspapers And Journalists Disgraced By CNN by seborrhic: 2:02pm On Sep 26, 2018
What is the disgrace there.
Punch and ThisDay were shown the court documents listing Leah's mother name as one of those that instituted the suit.
What if the mum was thereafter pressurized to later deny?
What CNN should have done,if Ogunlesi in his delusion feels they did the "best journalistic" work, was to get in contact with the other co-filers and ask them if they indeed filed the suit.
Besides,CNN didn't report that the claimed lawsuit itself was false.
So if someone is listed in a verified court document as having filed a suit,a journalist can report it first, and if denial now comes up,reports same, not the other way round.
Leah mother,if she claims she is not part of the suit, should sue those that listed her name.
Politics › Re: Based On These Conditions, PDP Can Win Or Lose Osun Rerun Elections by seborrhic: 11:49am On Sep 26, 2018
Change your moniker because what you just did is voodooism and not statistics, which is based on facts and projections based realistic figures.
First the total figure of 3964 or so is total number of registered voters and not those that collected PVCs.
Secondly even of the number of collected PVCs,who are thus the only people eligible to vote,at most 50% would turn out for reasons beyond any politician or voodoo statistician as you.
So taking best case scenarios,2000 PVCs were collected, though some are claiming its not even up to 1000.
50% of this gives at best 1000 voter turnout.
APC needs to get 70% of this,700 to win.
If its d figure of 1000 PVCs,this gives 500,meaning APC needs virtually all the votes to win.
Both scenarios are practically impossible for APC to meet.

So since August of last year,2017,you people were not paid a kobo, but kept quiet, but now that a politician has given you people a little stipend to portray Saraki in bad light before the public, you people have cheapishly come out.
If as adults these players don't have courage and conviction of their own to fight for their rights, especially their means of livelihood, and have to do so only because they are propelled for political reasons,by a politician trying to tarnish saraki's image, then they don't deserve pity.

Worst government ever ruleth.Full of cover up,lying thieves.
The day I gave up on Buhari and knew he had no tintirin integrity was when he refused to disclose his assets, declaring he had "AT LEAST N10m in his account".
Something YarAdua did effortlessly and fully, including for that of his entire family.
This one may turn out not even better than Turai and Dame Patience in using her position to amass wealth.

Of course sane minds want APC defeated and Buhari booted out for crass incompetence and gross nepotism.
What APC ar se lickers and insane government of the day apologists dont realise, which the abdulsalam committee is envisaging,is that any result in the rerun that turns out to be an APC victory would set in motion events that may set this nation ablaze.
Having said that, the committee cannot at this point interfere in this election. It should allow the process of PDP going to court or the rerun conducted,to run its course.

Sensible thing to do, just as I adviced.
They should tomorrow morning at first court sitting demand an ex parte ruling stopping the INEC from proceeding with any rerun election till the court rules on whether the election itself was conclusive or not.

Politics › Re: Kwankwaso Makes Unannounced Visit To Kano (Photos) by seborrhic: 6:38pm On Sep 24, 2018
This is exactly what I predicted the PDP Osun election win will bring:people will be bold to defect, campaign or even go to places they dare not step foot to campaign in before. In the same vain,APC chieftains, governors would now be circumspect in the level of impunity they hitherto displayed, prior to Osun.
Before Osun,Kwankwaso dare not step foot in Kano because Ganduje, with support from Aso Rock, wouldn't allow him.But now,Ganduje is not sure who would be the next governor or president.
That's the beauty Osun PDP victory is laying.
Politics › Re: APC Thugs Attack Fatai Diekola In Osogbo (Photos) by seborrhic:
If true then PDP must know what they are about to face on Thursday.
The next 2 days demands unparalled boldness, courage and even sacrifice from PDP chieftains and footsoldiers, not just in Osun state, but nationwide because APC will come for those 3800 plus votes with all the crude machinery at its disposal.
On the otherhand,if PDP wins Osun state,it has laid the most solid foundation for ousting Buhari from power come next year.
Win Osun and PDP would set in motion a cataclysmic upheaval in the APC because many of its members dillydallying to defect to actualize their ambitions in other parties would now see that the APC can easily be defeated no matter the party they belong to.
Nigerians also desire another change from not just another ultra incompetent president, but one that is the most parochial, most clannish and most divisive we ever had.

Saraki must be feeling like a super star, loved by the gods, and who would blame him.
Politics › Re: Maurice Iwu: 'Osun Election Was Conclusive' by seborrhic:
I actually thought this same argument canvassed by some lawyers and the PDP itself was just a propaganda tool and the party trying to blackmail the electoral empire.
But now that Iwu has clearly stated its antecedents and the only constitutional provisions it should apply, its clear that Adeleke should have been declared the winner.
Its a tricky situation now.
If PDP loses after participating in the re-run,it has shot itself in the foot, legally.
I feel PDP should held to court to stop the rerun and compel INEC to declare Adeleke the winner of the election already.

Politics › Re: Osun Governorship Election Rerun Holds In These Polling Units by seborrhic: 9:37pm On Sep 23, 2018
PDP first has to identify the voters list.
No matter how good the turnout,at most 60% of the registered voters in the affected units would be present that day:some may have died, relocated, lost their voters card or were registered in transit and thus not resident there.
Thus,at best 1500 turns out. This is the number PDP needs to keep a vigil on because this is the number APC would want to use all means to manipulate the rerun with.
PDP needs to get the name and address of each of the authentic affected electorate, and just needs to detail one agent or party member to each of these 1500 to ensure APC doesn't get to them or manipulate them in anyway.
This is how real elections are won:identify voters, meet them at their homes, shops or offices and keep them from being won over by your opponents.
Posterity will not forgive PDP if it loses this election which it already has in the bag.Eternal vigilance for just 4days and its a done deal.

Cancelled results
Orulu LG , 2 polling units. Registered voters 947
Ife south, 1 polling unit. Registered voters 502
Ife north, 1 polling unit. Registered voters 353
Osogbo, 1 polling unit. Registered voters 884
Total registered voters 3498
So at most actual expected voters on that day 1250.
This still PDP's to lose.
PDP just needs 500 votes that day,of the expected 1250-1300 to win 500+354=854
APC to get at most 1300-500 =800
Politics › Re: INEC Declares Osun Governorship Election Inconclusive by seborrhic: 2:39pm On Sep 23, 2018
PDP will still win.
With the cancelled votes being about 2000+,at most 1000 voters will be found on re run day.
With an existing gap of about 358,it means APC needs to garner 80% (about 800 votes to PDP 200),to win,an impossible task.
Don't be surprised, the actual real voters that day may not even be more than 500 because many were names just on the register that wouldn't be actually present that day.

Buhari has no tintiririn integrity,so Davido should stop appealing to him.
Southwest is not known as the Wide Wide West for nothing.
Despite their rigging and financial inducements, everyone accepted the Ekiti results that favoured APC.
Now that PDP has won, stories are coming up.
If Buhari wants to be the one that destroyed democracy in Nigeria, inec should announce any other party than PDP as the winner in Osun.
Everyone in Nigeria is alert.
We may not like adeleke, but any party or individual that defeats APC has unalloyed support of people that believe incompetence, nepotism, clannishness, insecurity, lies, propaganda, massive, large scale covered up corruption, has to got to be booted out come 2019 and it starts with the Osun foundation.

I wish we could have other elections b4 that of the president. This bandwagon thing is not good 4 democracy at all.
Forget.
Nigerians are real fed up with this government and are ready to kick them or any candidate associated with them out, despite the monetary inducement.
The South west is the most fertile ground for voting out incompetent leaders, particularly now that people know their votes count and are ready to defend it.
Osun has set a template for all concerned.
Just watch as even the APC starts trying to curry voters by rushing through some people oriented policies before February.
Its just the Northeast/Northwest with their herd voting mentality that may keep us back.

Oyo and Ogun state are fertile grounds for PDP to take in next year's gubernatorial elections.
Lagos could have been too but PDP doesn't have strong structure nor candidate on ground.
