But my first statement stands.
Besides knowing the antecedents of Buhari and the penchant of this government to tell lies,the Igbos would look real stu pid if they believe a man like that would give a nod to transfer of power to the zone.
This is a man rejected severally by the Ibos when he twice chose an Ibo son as his running mate because they knew his ignoble role in the civil war,his nepotic,clearly biased treatment of their sons,VP Ekwueme,Jim Nwobodo etc,compared to their then Northern colleagues,Shagari et al,when the military overthrew the civilian government.
He followed it up with further discriminatory policies against Ibos who were largely businessmen during his short lived military regime.
Any person,even if not Ibo can clearly see Buhari hates the Ibos for nothing but inherent nepotism and Ibos don't like him based on principles and antecedents.I maynot be Ibo but can read history well.

Is this a call up letter to you.
This is a testament to cover for his claimed missing certificate.
If it's from the NYSC,then it means he actually did go for service then.
There is thus no controversy here.Unless this attestation is not from NYSC.
I always have my doubts whenever a Nigerian politician or top level civil servant or appointee claims he/she has lost one form of certificate or the other.90% of the time they are lying to cover up for not possessing it in the first place.
This Cole's maybe the 10% exception.

So the previous government did fight corruption using lawful means,afterall.
The previous governments charged majority of those people to court and the courts ordered their passports forfeited,effectively preventing them from travelling.This is the standard practice worldwide.
What this president wants to do,if not for the condemnation the order has raised,is to arbitrarily determine those it can ban or not from travelling.
Apart from being unacceptable in a civil society,it only goes to show again that Buhari's government is the worst thing that has ever happened to Nigeria since 1914,twice now,1984,2015,for that matter.
Yet some insane people want him re-elected.
Never again.

For the fact that the Kano goverment dared new Nigerian with a law suit and they still posted it shows they are sure of its genuineness.

Its only a court that can restrict the movement of somebody that it has not convicted and they do that by ordering the seizure of passports of those undergoing trial if it deems fit.

How can you ban someone that has not been convicted by a court of law from travelling.
Any person with a commonsense should know this act is utter bu llshit.
The judge that affirmed the order is a quack for affirming something he/she didn't have an understanding of.
Hope a higher judge with commonsense would overturn it if challenged now that people have seen how it wants to be used.

Tanx for trying to correct me.I deliberately used the phrase that way to imply corruption(read dirt) garbage.
That is where I have very serious issues with him.
He doesn't seem to have any other "baggage" in terms of having a fake certificate,age or marriage scandal or any other criminal allegation.
A combo of a presidential candidate with allegations of being corrupt,though unproven and a VP candidate undergoing trial for corrupt acts would set the ticket back millions of votes.

I just hope the government will also follow through on its pledge to use legal avenues to seek redress.
Let the online medium release the video and let everyone make its own judgement and when it gets to court,let then bring experts to substantiate the authenticity of the video.
I however have this feeling that the government maybe blowing hot air,if not by now it would have sent the security apparatus after the publisher.

That is exactly what caught my attention.
Guess Tinubu would soon start having issues with Oshiomole,as naturally expected.
Its clear that what Oshiomole wants to do is to build a nationwide political base to further his future political ambition.Anyone who thinks Oshiomole favored direct primaries because he actually wants all members of APC to determine their candidates at the polls is living in Nana land.
Tinubu,being the tested but also power hungry and selfish politician he is,has probably seen the trajectory of Oshiomole's plans and wants to nip it in the bud early, using his media outfits.

Buhari can't do nothing,unless his daftness has gone beyond redemption.
Ghanduje has immunity from prosecution,Ghanduje has been validly nominated for a second term,so his name cannot be legally removed.
The only avenue available for a government serious on fighting corruption, which of course is a charade by this government,is to get him impeached by the state assembly.
But a Buhari that has been promised 5million votes by Ghanduje and in whose embrace the most corrupt of Nigerian politicians since 1999 have found shelter and solitude,would rather sack the EFCC chairman,than tamper with Ghanduje.
