forgiveness:APC already has South west, PDP will get south east with the VP slot. APC could divide South east by giving them VP. With South West as VP, South east can't be sure of becoming the president in 2023 |
The game for 2019 is getting hotter by the day, and its clear PDP isn't joking one bit. The emergence of Atiku, a former vice president, and a well experienced politician is something APC should should not take lightly. Much more, the strategic moves of Atiku in reconciling with his former boss, Chief Obasanjo, and choosing a running mate from the South east, should make APC stand on their toes. President Buhari is gradually losing popularity because he has failed to deliver his campaign promises. He lacks the capacity to improve the economy, and Nigerians are clamouring for another change. But is there something Buhari can do now to save APC from losing Aso rock come 2019? In my opinion, here are some things he can do to change the situation; 1. Do everything possible to make sure the refineries are working in full capacity. Work hard to reduce the price of fuel . 2. Do everything possible to increase the value of naira to dollar. He promised that, but failed. 3. Grant NLC their request for #30,000 minimum wage. 4. Step down for someone from South East to run in his stead. He actually promised to rule one term but failed to keep that, just like Johnathan. 5. If he must contest in 2019, then he should pick his running mate from South East. Maybe Rochas Okorocha or any other person. 2019 is surely going to be full of intrigues, and I bet you, Nollywood movie producers will never lack ideas from the events that would be unfolding. |

Etizz:She should have asked for the cash instead of the trip. I'm sure that would buy more than ten sewing machines |
Alexaonfleek:Keep it up. It will save you a lot of troubles |
Some men of God prophesied on who will become Nigeria's president in 2019. Father Mbaka gave it to somebody from Gombe - Dakwambo while another man of God said the next nigeria president's name begins with the letter "S". Saraki I supposed These two people are in PDP but could not secure the party ticket. Are they going to defect to other parties and still win? Or has their prophecies failed? |
ghostfacekillar:Actually, I was surprised when I saw the documentary, but you can't know a person's history more than him. The documentary featured the Obi himself. His cabinet members were also interviewed, even the Onowu, who is the second in command to the Obi. So, who are you or me to argue with them? |
ghostfacekillar:How come the Obi of Onitsha dress in white regalia like the Ooni of Ife and the Oba of Benin. There seems to be something common about them. |
I saw the documentary that says onitsha people are descendants of Ooni's brother Ooni Itshe. He came Ife, then to Benin before crossing the Niger to establish Onitsha |
It seems they want to turn Lagos to another osun state where workers are not paid salaries |
I was moved to tears watching Mrs Sharibu begging for her daughter's life May the Almighty God in His infinite wisdom and mercy save the life of Leah Sharibu. May He deliver her like He delivered Daniel from the lions den. Amen. Kindly drop a word of prayer for Leah Sharibu |
seunmsg:Exactly |
Nigeria simply has no standard. No standard for buildings. You can decide to build your house at the centre of the road, and settle the authorities with your money. No standard for education. Its those that don't have money to sort that read. No standard for healthcare. No standard for security No standard for living. No standard for religion Just behave as you like... Anyhow. |
Is it a crime for soldiers to wear bullet proofs and helmets? |
Chekitaut:Exactly. This will help. If NLC go on a strike to put politicians into civil service payroll, they can get it and it will reduce corruption and move us forward |
justfash50:Is it the government that's already complaining that fuel subsidy is too much that will increase minimum wage? If they ever agree to pay minimum wage, they will remove the fuel subsidy. Or is it the governors that are owing workers 11 months salaries that will increase minimum wage? Those ones will use taxes to collect it back. Whoever gives it will give with the right hand and collect it back will the left hand. The workers will end up having nothing. It will even make things worse for the unemployed. |
I think NLC is making a wrong choice by asking for increase in workers minimum wage. The truth is that: with the increase in minimum wage, every other sector of the economy would adjust to balance the increment. The fuel price will increase The cost of transportation will increase The price of food stuff... Inflation... Virtually everything. So what will NLC achieve by this demand. They will only take the country one step forward, and two steps backward. Instead of asking for the increment, they should have sought to stabilize the economy so that with the little money a worker receives, he will be able to achieve more with it. They should seek to put an end to corruption in government. Reduce the money being squandered at the national assembly, make the governors more accountable. Stabilize the price of petrol by making sure our refineries are working. And many more. The proposed strike will do the country no good, even if it achieves its demands. |
WotzupNG:I think chimamanda is correct. She's not saying that men are no longer the head of the family, but that women are not to be treated as slaves or objects. She's very correct. For instance, the traditional marriage rituals insinuate that women are properties you go to the market and buy. You have to pay the seller to go with your property. And women are foolish enough to continue in these traditions. Some even brag about it by saying they're expensive, and not cheap. Can you imagine that kind of mentality? |
Google will soon produce her own version |
If its China, they would create an expressvroad inside the mountain. Nepal is still far behind |
This kind of scenario played out in 2015 Abia governorship election when T.A. Orji (Ochendo) used Obingwa to rig in Okezie Ikpeazu. Watch and see how APC is going to create and import voters from other South West States to outnumber PDP in the run off. The more you look, the less you will see. |
Sharpshooota:And the wife will hand over to Okorocha's daughter |

sacramento1212:Whatever it is. Even if its a loan with interest, it will help provide employment for his people and alleviate poverty. As well as foster more business cooperation between Yoruba and the Arabs. Let our Ezes come and learn. Full stop. |
kennypoju04:Forget it. Yoruba's are more intelligent and organised than every other tribe in Nigeria. They're moving far ahead and we are busy shouting Biafra Which Eze or Igwe in igboland has ever imagined something like this? |
How real is the op? Anybody patronizing him? |

Today is very important to democracy in Nigeria and should be declared a public holiday. Who is with me? |
I was in a tricycle few hours ago and driver narrated how he dropped two runs girls to a hotel. Apparently, they got a call from their man for hotel service. On the way to the hotel, the driver overheard their conversation. One was telling the other to drug their victim. The secret there is that they have a kind of drug they'll apply on the tip of their boobs. The victim swallows the drug while sucking, and perhaps, sleeps off. The robbery that will happen afterwards would be colossal. |
