honeric01: I doubt.In that case, El Guapo's nomination of Nateevs should be declared null and void cos Nateevs is NOT a regular poster in the GENERAL Sports Section BUT the European Football Section. Hell, he doesn't even post in this section  I have gone through 21 pages (as far back as late June) of his profile posts and none is in this section. ALL are in the European Football Section. |

The animation in itself is not bad though it can be improved upon. My problem with it is the lack of originality. I mean, how is this different from Tom & Jerry, Pinky and The Brain etc? |

Hi Y'all, Just as the name implies, the TV/Movies section is the board for general discussions in the TV/Movies world. We thank all of you that have added value in one way or another to this section in the outgoing year. We recognize the input of everyone. As started in 2009 and has become a tradition on Nairaland, THE TV/MOVIES SECTION POSTER OF THE YEAR AWARDS is here again and we hereby call on you to nominate posters deserving of this award for 2012. The 2009 inaugural edition was won by MRbrownJAY, the 2010 edition by Ogaga4Luv while Obinna5000 took the crown last year. So who takes the crown this year? Your guess is as good as mine. . .no one knows but your participation is essential and will decide the eventual outcome. The Rules: 1. Only 1 nomination per user 2. A nominee MUST be a law abiding Nairalander, not a troll or a trouble-maker (someone that has never been banned in this section) 3. A moderator cannot be nominated in his/her section but may be nominated in other sections 4. Nominee must be active in the TV/Movies section 5. Nomination takes 1 week, voting takes 2 weeks and by the end of December the winner will emerge. 6. Unfortunately, we do not have poll options anymore, so we will have to make do with manual counting. 7. Where there is tie, the mod reserves the right to either choose one or extend the nomination/voting by 24 hours. NOMINATION ends on December 8, 2012 VOTING starts December 9, 2012 (after top 3 nominees with the highest nominations have been picked) and ends December 30 where the winner will be announced. Where is Glo's Resident Nairaland Agent, lulosas? I'm surprised someone beat him to this thread Meanwhile, I suspect the modem is a 3.6mbps modem and that's why it's as cheap as N3,999. Hell, it's the same one as their Huawei 3.6mbps modem (the one with front loading) that was sold just before they started selling that Huawei 7.2bmps GloNetrpo branded modem. . . So instead of moving forward and upgrading, they're actually going backwards. . .NO BE ME AND THEM Shey I wan dey use 3.6mbps modem for 2012 when some etisalat subscribers dey use 21.6mbps modems and all the other GSM telcos are offering 7.2mbps modems?
