Me like the naija girl hook but he could have went harder on the rap. Not bad Sha.
Wetin be not bad? That Naija Girl joint is banging. As per the rap, how hard do you want him to go on a song like this? Me like the song gan and he's definitely talking about Goldie on the track. ![]() As per the 2nd track, he wan do Goldie some strong things ![]() This their kain love, me never see am before |
VillageBoi: This is the trailer. It is a complete slap-fest. E be like say 'slapping' na the new fx. Jokes apart, what I find odd is that the trailer is not anything like the 'synopsis' posted above - doesn't even remotely seem like it's the same film.True, there's a disconnect between the synopsis and the trailer. I also found some of the acting a bit melodramatic. . .maybe na just me sha ![]() |
Anvaller: Very good critique... I hail the guy's effort tho but it is good to point at little things like u have rightly done here so he can improve on them cos sincerely, these little faults are the reason I no dey watch naija movies... But I do not agree with the assumption that he lives in a duplex, That could also be an apartment. In fact it looks more like an apartment.Lol, it's funny you disagree with me over the duplex issue cos even the guy who made the movie didn't. Watch the video again, you'll notice he pressed (ironed) his clothes just by the staircase and when the iron effed up, he ran up the staircase supposedly to get dressed in the bedroom. If that isn't a duplex, then I don't know what is. |
toba: Seun needs to review the appointment of Moderators.YES, I agree. I'm not okay with the fact that Seun appointed me a super moderator myself toba: Meaning two muslims supermods and one atheistJesus! How did you come to the conclusion I'm a Muslim? From my username? Clearly, you don't know me at all ![]() I hardly post on religious matters but I've dropped enough hints on this forum and a little investigative profile browsing will reveal my religious inclination. toba: lastly. Seun should stop making Nlders based in Nigeria serve as mods cos the poverty mentality in the country has overwhelmed majority of them and they choose to act out of proportion. foreign based mods are more rational than the low life Jobless Nigerian moderator.I see you're still in the business of innovating great ideas. Nothing do you. . .ride on! After all said and said, I'm surprised at your rather timid opposition to my appointment. I expected you'll have created a thread in the Nairaland/General section just to express your displeasure. Seems you and I are making progress towards real friendship ![]() Have a blessed day. . . . |
Overall, I liked the opening Blame The Machines graphics and the sound that accompanied it. . .very machine-like and robotic. It goes with the title of the film The story flowed and transition between scenes was seamless. Liked the use of interval as it was used to get us into the mind of the character and move the story forward Also, I like the fact that a behavourial pattern was set early ON for the guy with all the banging and flinging so the last violent confrontation and his shoving/pushing of Rachel wasn't out of character. Still, some minor points that need clarification # From his work and office, I didn't get the sense the guy could afford to live in a duplex abi no be duplex hin dey live? ![]() # As far as I know, the Blue Screen Of Death commonly pops up after installation of an incompatible software or just when one is putting on the PC and not as it happened in the film when he was working on MS Word? # That scene where Rachael fell and hit her head on the stool get comma. She fell and her head balanced on the stool "gidigba" like sey she by herself set her head on top sleeping pillow. Wasn't her head supposed to have hit the stool and skidded off to the ground with the stool fallen off it's legs? All in all, a decent effort. |

ETISALAT FOREVER You see wetin we dey talk about Nairalanders and the bandwagon effect? Even person wey no dey use MTN line go criticize cos others dey do am SMH |
toluxa1: Me too. Had to re-check the handle twice. I guess he just wanted to sound different. Not cool. My point? You could have been a bit nicer.Guy, quit thinking you know me. . .YOU DON'T! And don't INSULT me by saying I posted what I did to sound different. I am not afraid to post what I think cos it's incur the wrath of the majority. I speak my mind at all times. |
puskin: ......and they like to make the backdoor channels last long so that people like we then.....enjoyed it.Lol, you dey mind them. The most annoying is peeps wey never join Nairaland when we dey run things for here then will come and accuse us of being MTN Agents ![]() |
Lol @ OP, so you sef don notice the trend for Nairaland ![]() I don talk am before. . .most of the criticism and hate for MTN on Nairaland is shocking and to me unjustified. Me think it's a bandwagon thing as many Nigerians be like sheep. They criticize/comment cos it's the prevailing trend/in-thing and don't think for themselves. . . MTN still has the highest no of subscribers in Nigeria, it's expanding it's network, covering more communities/remote places and thereby connecting more people at a faster rate than the other telcos and it's subscriber base keeps growing by the day. MTN was the first to connect my villa (a remote riverine villa, I doubt you'll even locate it on the map of Nigeria) and other surrounding riverine villages. Glo came like 2 years after MTN, Airtel and Etisalat just connected it 2 years ago. Also, MTN has given more Nigerians Internet access than the other telcos cos it has the most extensive 3G coverage in Nigeria. I was in Okitipupa, Igbotako and Igbokoda in Ondo State, Tsekelewu in Delta state in 2010 & 2011 and I was only able to access the net via MTN. Apart from that MTN is also quite innovative when it comes to Promos et al, other telcos are just reactionary IMO. MTN was the first to start the 12am- 5am free midnight call, they were first to crash modem prices from over 10K to an affordable N5,500 that enabled many peeps to get modems and stop damaging their phones using 'em as modems. For many years, MTN was the only network offering a reasonable and affordable data bundle plan of N2500/3GB 9PM-6AM Browsing Plan before other networks jumped on board. They were also the first telco to introduce the 7.2mbps modem that enabled peeps to surf and download at faster speeds. Lastly, I'll say this without fear of contradiction. . .as an "ex-FBTricknochrat", MTN has offered Nigerians more "backdoor" free surfing than any other network. MTN recharge cards are the best and you can scratch 'em without fear of digits peeling away unlike GLO and Etisalat that you'll have to scratch with extra care. I get thru to their Customer Service easily these days so I'll say that has improved too. The recharge card vendors I patronize and relate with in my area in Lagos say "na MTN card dey move pass for market", the two ladies that sell credit at my place of work in Ogun state bring more of MTN cards and this gets exhausted before all other networks. Who buys these MTN credits. . .ghosts abi? The most annoying was the recent one, when MTN SIGNIFICANTLY increased their Data Bundle allowance and Nairalanders were still condemning them instead of commending them Glo followed suit like 2 days after and peeps commended them If this is not Unjustified hate for MTN, tell me what is? |
FlamingGun: Not to discourage you, but this is rather ordinary stuff. You must go far beyond this to win real attention. Very few enthusiasts would hang any of these in their corridor. Your talent is nascent; break out of the cocoon, be emboldened to create your style. kannymoore: well... Lemme be a bit nice here.Heaving a sigh of relief here. . . . Finally, independent minded people on the thread and not all these sheep mentality follow follow people. The two posts above sum up what I didn't say too nicely ![]() |
Sincerely, never knew Semid could say a thing like that.
Lol, you don sabi me finish shey? You never see ![]() How body? |
Na wa ohhh. At least try and appreciate ones effort and even give her the inspiration to work harder.
Ok, I appreciate her effort but you guys aren't doing her any favours with all the "fawning" comments |
I see stuff like this on my street everyday ![]() Don't know about others but there's nothing really creative and extraordinary up there. None of the exhibited art works has WOWED me. #Not hating, just speaking my mind# |
Hmmm, that last episode was something else. . . |
OP has a reputation for posting spurious and fabricated stories. I'll take anything he says with a pinch of salt if I were you #Just saying |
Guy, quit stalling and get to the date with Miss Funke Salman I don dey vex o ![]() |
