are u kiddin me? a show can only be judged in relation to the time it was aired. when season 1 first started airing, the concept was still fresh, and it was nothing short of brilliant.

there is no doubt about it, this is BY FAR the worst season ever.

We are not judging 24 against other series or in relation to the time it was aired and whether the concept was unique back then or not. We are judging the different seasons against each other based on how interesting they were. Anyway, in YOUR OPINION, this is the worst season. In MY OPINION, Season 1 is the worst. . . .EOD!

In what can’t be considered surprising news–but still a bummer for fans nonetheless–the clock will stop on ‘24,’ according to Variety.

After speculation in recent months, the Fox network and 20th Century Fox TV are expected to end the action-packed drama after this eighth season of the show. The series’ expensive price tag and unimpressive ratings are cited as the main reason.

Can TV’s greatest American hero be saved?

The trade claims the studio is toying with the idea of shopping the show around to other networks, but for the same reasons above, they’re not expecting many to be gunning for it.

Within minutes of the news, a ‘#SaveJackBauer’ campaign was initiated on Twitter.

But Kiefer Sutherland’s days of jacking up the bad guys aren’t over, since there are plans to have the franchise live on in movie theaters.

The network declined to comment. A final decision is expected in the next 24 hours or so.

The phone section needs an additional moderator in my opinion and I think I'm well suited to the job being that I'm the Phone Section Poster of the Year and I have the full confidence of the regular posters there.

I disagree. . .this is the 2nd worst season after season 1. Luckily for me, I started watching 24 with Season 3 and then I went back to watch season 1 and 2 before watching 4, 5, 6, 7 and now 8. If I had started with season 1, I doubt I would have continued with the other seasons.

This thread is for Season 8. Why don't you buy the season 7 DVD with the complete 24 episodes instead of downloading the episodes online? It's everywhere and it's just N200. Anyway, I'll see what I can do (not a promise) but you have to be more specific with the episodes cos I don't know the particular episode it was that Jack's daughter was kidnapped in season 7. ie you can make it easier for me by saying you want episode 1-5 etc.

This Season 8 no be am at all. By this Episode in season 5, 6 and 7, my heart was already in my mouth and there was a lot of on the 'edge of the seat' suspense and enough twists & turns. . .this season 8 so far no be am IMO.

Aaah, no be na wa. . .na real wa! I ain't surprised but I woulda loved to know the names of these NFF officials. So I guess we can safely assume Lagerback's contract is inflated and someone is clearing some little sumtin-sumtin from his salary.

Victor Moses has invited Nigeria officials to watch him play and train for Wigan with a view to representing the Super Eagles at the World Cup.

Wigan’s new £2.5million attacking starlet was included in the last England Under-21 squad, but did not feature.

The 19-year-old also qualifies for the African nation because he was born in Lagos, and both his parents are from Nigeria.

Now Nigeria’s new coach Lars Lagerback is keen to test out Moses in a friendly before naming his squad for South Africa.

But Moses wants to concentrate on establishing himself with Premier League Wigan in the remainder of the season following his January move from Crystal Palace.

Moses is, however, still keen on possibly representing his home nation at the World Cup.

Moses only played for England’s youth teams because of residency rules but could now change his allegiance back to the land of his birth.

And he has asked Nigeria representatives to come and watch him and meet Latics boss Roberto Martinez before making a decision.
