Transcript: It’s been long. We started after Zamfara state was created
Q: Why did you go into banditry? We took up arms because we are herdsmen and despite this country’s wealth, we were not carried along, we are not educated, we don’t know anything.
We do not have security, we do not have any benefit. We are the ones being killed, but are always seen as the aggressors.
We don’t have anything. Wherever a herder is, he is uneducated and has nothing. In this country, there is everything, but we are not carried along. It is as though we do not exist. We are just being killed.
A few years ago there was a move to strike a peace deal with you. Why did it collapse?
Of course it has been breached. You asked for armistice and and agreement was reached, but you left that person in the forest with a gun and nothing to substitute. What do you expect? How do yo want that person to survive?
Of all the promises made to us, none was fulfilled. And enroll the young ones in schools, we should be treated the same way. And give them jobs with the government and enrol them in schools. The Hausa, Yoruba and the Fulani should be treated equally.
The president should personally come and preside over the talks. When he was campaigning he would come all over. Why won’t he do that now? He does not take the peace talks seriously and everybody are being killed. There is no day that someone is not killed between Zamfara, Niger, Kaduna, Sokoto and Katsina. No two days pass without someone getting killed in those places.
There is no tribe that is spared. Gunmen kill, soldiers kill, vigilantes kill. Whoever you see with him today in Nigeria, he uses it to kill people. You may not know but if I were to tell you the situation of things in this country, you will cry. Even the president will cry.
We supported this administration and accepted dialogue, because we thought that he (Buhari) will fix this country, but he won’t fix this country. From the time he praised Goodluck, Obasanjo and the late Yaradua, … these were not praiseworthy.
It would be better if he had praised Abacha because under Abacha pastoralists were being educated. In Abacha’s time there was allocation in the budget for nomadic communities. There was no such thing again since Obasanjo became president.
Q: So you think since the transition to civilian rule, Fulani communities haven’t been taken care of?
They stopped looking after them (Fulani). Their forests and grazing areas were taken over. You’ll see one having as much as 1,000 hectares just because he is rich.
Imagine the Nonsense!!! In sane climes these Mofos will not have the audacity to make known their opinions going by their terrorists nature / activities.
Anyways I'm not surprised after all we have only had clueless & incompetent past & present leadership!
Your campaign statement / phrase printed on the shirt is incomplete I'll suggest you make the phrase complete to draw attention and philanthropic donors to your campaign. In my years of working on campaign projects there's a simple key factor to convincing volunteers & donors alike and that is >>>Making a clear definition of your campaign....In this respect using; SAY NO TO DRUG ABUSE In my opinion is more appropriate.

Easyincome24: 6 simple mistakes that can sabotage your job search
A seasoned career recruiter who has interviewed close to 10,000 job candidates shares the most common mistakes that trip up job seekers.
There are no shortage of tips on how to have a successful job search. But when you fail to get the gig you want, you may be left wondering why. Hiring professionals are deluged with applications and don’t have time to write a “thank you for applying” letter. So candidates are left guessing.
I decided to go straight to the source and asked a seasoned career recruiter what the most common pitfalls are. In a far-ranging discussion with Tejal Wagadia, a career expert at Jobscan who has interviewed close to 10,000 job candidates in the past seven years, Wagadia shared the biggest things that can trip up job seekers.
1. APPLYING FOR EVERYTHING IN SIGHT The No. 1 thing that will derail you, according to Wagadia, is applying for a broad range of jobs that you’re not qualified for. It’s understandable that with so many jobs being advertised on job boards, and coming to you directly from sites like LinkedIn, you’ll feel you’re in demand.
But think again before you apply. “Unless you have 70% to 80% of the qualifications, you shouldn’t go for it,” says Wagadia. And that doesn’t mean you anticipate that you can do 80% of the job. It means you have already done 80% of that job. “It’s one thing to say ‘I can do this,’ and it’s another thing to say ‘I have done this.'
For mid-to-senior-level positions, companies look for at least three to five years of experience. So for example, an account manager might apply for a Director of Sales position, but lacking any experience in that area, they won’t get the job. Instead, stay focused and apply only for those positions where you have several years of actual experience.
2. USING THE SAME RÉSUMÉ OVER AND OVER AGAIN A second roadblock to landing a job is using a single résumé for all your job applications. “Candidates apply with the same résumé, over and over again,” says Wagadia. “They haven’t looked closely enough at the job description and made sure the skills listed are reflected in their résumé.”
“I’ve interviewed candidates whose résumé doesn’t match the job, and when I question them [about a skill] they say, ‘Oh yeah, I did that.'” But they hadn’t put it on their résumé. “We recruiters aren’t clairvoyant,” says Wagadia. “If you don’t show your skills and experience on your résumé, we have to assume you don’t have them.”
The solution, she says, is to customize every single résumé you send out. Make sure the skills you have on your CV align with those in the job description. If you want to know how well your résumé matches the job description, check out this site. “It’s particularly important to customize your résumé,” says Wagadia, “when applying for ‘bridge’ (contract) jobs or when making a career change, like going from one industry to another.” You will be evaluated on the fit.
3. FAILING TO SHOW YOUR IMPACT The third thing that can trip job seekers up, according to Wagadia, is “not showing the impact you’ve had in the jobs you’ve held.”
“I don’t just want to know that you led a team,” she says. “I want to know how much you as a team generated in revenue each year.” You need to show the actual value you’ve created for your company in those roles.” This should be quantifiable (e.g., a recruiter might list the number of people she hired; a software engineer might list the number of programs developed and customers reached, a communications professional might share employee engagement figures or social media impact). Give at least three impact figures for each job you’ve held.
Not giving figures for your impact is a serious problem. “Almost every résumé I’ve seen just lists job duties rather than the value created,” says Wagadia. “Candidates copy and paste the job description they were hired into and forget to show the impact they had in that role.” If you want to impress the recruiter or hiring manager, give the quantifiable results you’ve attained.
4. ASKING THE INTERVIEWER NO QUESTIONS
Another thing that can derail candidates is their failure to ask the recruiter or hiring manager questions in an interview. “When they have no questions,” says Wagadia, “they appear not to be interested in the position" Wagadia has six favorite questions she recommends asking:
A.What does success look like in the first 90 days for this person? B.What problems are being solved by the team right now? C.What is the No. 1 stakeholder complaint you have heard about the team? D.What is it about my background that you think would add value to your current team? E.How do you define culture, and what is the team culture? F.How do you communicate when someone isn’t meeting their monthly goals?
5. MISREADING YOUR INTERVIEWERS A fifth way to undercut yourself, is to misread people in team interviews. These group interviews are becoming more common, and they present challenges.
“Be aware how you are addressing the interviewing team,” says Wagadia. She has seen situations in which male candidates don’t address the female interviewers, especially in tech companies. Also beware of directing all your attention to the team leader or hiring manager. Treat everybody equally.
Group interviews can also be challenging because you have to customize your answers for each person. Think about who’s asking the question and choose a narrative that the person can relate to. For example, if an internal customer asks for an example, make it a customer-centric story. And size up whether the person wants a short answer, a big-picture answer, or a detailed “nuts and bolts” answer.
6. BEING DISENGAGED IN INTERVIEWS A final way job applicants can go astray is to appear disengaged by giving short, curt answers in interviews.
I asked Wagadia if there was a point in an interview when she made a decision not to proceed with a candidate, and she replied, “Yes, when they’re giving me one-word or one-sentence answers.” She explained: “I might say, ‘Tell me about the kind of position you have been looking for.’
“The candidate answers ‘technical positions.’ “What kind of technical position? I ask. “‘Project management.’
“When it feels like I’m pulling teeth,” Wagadia says, “I decide not to proceed with that candidate. An interview is a conversation, not an interrogation.”

Some incredulous fans caught Joachim Low up to his old tricks on Tuesday as the camera panned to the Germany manager sniffing his fingers once again!
Footage of World Cup winning head coach Low putting his hands down his trousers and then raising his hands to his face went viral at Euro 2016.
Five years on, onlookers on social media think they caught Low doing the same, as pictures emerged of the 61-year-old raising his fingers up to his nose again in the dugout during Germany's 1-0 loss against France.
Mats Hummels' first-half own goal was enough for world champions France to beat the Germans on home soil, though Low's side did have chances in the second-half in Munich.
Yet Low's repeat of the infamous footage which went viral five years ago was what got many fans talking on Twitter during and after the contest.
One simply asked: 'Why does Joachim Low always sniff his fingers?'
A few other users joked at Low's actions whilst his side were trailing, with one saying: 'Joachim Low had a few sniffs but no goal yet,' and another 'Germans still in with a sniff here. Well Joachim Low is.
The then-world champions won 2-0 against Ukraine but footage of Low's bizarre touchline actions quickly circulated.
The Germany boss will hope his players' performances on the pitch are the main talking point after their next Euro 2020 match in the 'Group of Death' - they face defending champions Portugal on Saturday.
Low will step down as Germany boss after 15 years in the job following this tournament, with ex-Bayern boss Hansi Flick to take over.

If you have access to internet + browsing gadgets and you ain't making even $5 daily then it's your undoing(fault).
EvenBlogger: As a result of her highly pigmented complexion, Nyakim Gatwech, an African American model of South Sudanese heritage who presently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been dubbed "the world's darkest person."
The fact that she is now a top African-American model shows that she doesn't allow her dark complexion get in the way of her ambitions.
The 24-year-old damsel is also inspiring others to not be frightened of their skin tone, whether it is black or white, but to instead have confidence in their God-given natural skin tone.
Unusual queries regarding her complexion, she claims, are frequently asked by complete strangers. One Uber driver even advised that she bleach her complexion because it was too dark - to which she merely responded with a chuckle and nod.
Nyakim Gatwech's ebony skin, contrary to popular belief, has garnered her a great deal of attention and admiration, as seen by her almost 900,000 Instagram followers. Aside from being a successful model, Nyakim is also an advocate for diversity in the fashion business and a spokesperson for Black rights throughout the world. Make a point of talking about beauty while using your head!
SMH... These people are a disgrace...in a world of hi-tech where voting is been shifted to an online process that will save a lot of hastles monies and bottle neck they choose to remain analog. Very anyhow ancestors in leadership.
Recently i got an interview in one of the leading IT Company. It is CMMI level company so i thought to try. I gave written test and technical round of interview, then again technical round with manager and he put me on hold. After i asked the reason to HR, she told me manager put you on hold. Again after 3 months i got a call that now you have to give final round of interview. I went there for another technical round and got selected. This time my appraisal is due in current company which is on next month so i can’t accept first offer which is 15% raise. I have 50k salary so it’s obvious I will get 15% in current company so i asked for 30% raise and she offered me 54k on hand. My current on hand is around 45k so i told her that i won’t join at these much less and if she wants to renegotiate, i am open for that. She after offered me 55k. I was like shocked that is this called negotiation. She is asking me for 1k more. Am i at grocery store or what? I said no. She said she is chasing me from few days to convince me but now she won’t. So i said, if your offer is convincing, no need to chase anyone. What does it make sense to give someone 1k more? She said, if you want to join at the offer, call me or reply me. I never replied and called.
Thank you Bogger for sharing my story.

Johnne32: I vividly remember the day I wrote my first paid article for an international client. He was from Spain and wanted me to get a trial article done at the cost of $25 (About #8,000) for a thousand words.
I spent my whole day writing the article and felt proud after going through it. The client loved the work, commended me and wanted me to write more for him later.
But now, he had to pay me. He requested a PayPal invoice. I told him PayPal was banned in Nigeria so I had to get an alternative.
I searched and searched and searched.....No positive results. The only way was to purchase courses from people who receive money regularly from clients, and I had no money then for that.
I continued to search until I stumbled on Upwork Direct Contract. This feature recently developed by the popular freelancing platform (Upwork) was created to help freelancers and clients outside Upwork ease the flow of payments.
It works this way: You create a contract which the client then accepts. After that, the clients deposit the money in escrow, after which the payment is approved after your work is done. In simple terms, Upwork direct contract is more of a middleman that helps in holding the money till the work is done.
What about payment charges? Upwork direct contract charges 3.4% of the payment made by the client so if you finish a $25 work, Upwork takes just $0.85 as their charge....this is cool in my opinion.
Besides that, you can withdraw the account straight to your account balance. You just need to pay *$0.99 for every transfer* so it doesn't matter whether you are transferring $5 or $10,000....the charge for withdrawing straight to your account balance is the same.
When I found out about this method, I was extremely glad. So I quickly informed my client about this, he was okay with it...so I sent a contract similar to our previously agreed one, then he accepted, deposited the funds and I was able to get my money across to me that day.
Note that the client does not have to be on Upwork to deposit money and pay you, in fact, the email you are sending the contract to must not be registered on Upwork. It's only the freelancers that need to be on the platform to be eligible to create such a contract.
So how do you get started?
- Open an Upwork account (It's important to appear as a professional to get accepted) - Once you get accepted, then go to settings and input your account details there. It will probably take a day or two for it to get verified. - Meanwhile, you are free to create a direct contract if you already have a client that's supposed to send you payment. - Receive your payment, and then withdraw it to your local receiving account. - Enjoy your cash
Note that I am not against other platforms like Paypal, Payoneer and the rest. If it works for you, great! I even want to start using these platforms, but till then, I am satisfied with the direct contract feature. So far, I have received about $198 using the feature. I attached a screenshot of this.
Let me know what you think. I am open to better suggestions too.
Nice one @OP though some of us are aware.
In another news I'm in need of an extra hand that is knowledgeable on how to get upwork accounts appropriately approved for my LTE students on upwork.
mactoni91: Ceo of IPI solutions and the owner of the dysfunctional app's Instagram account has been suspended for violation of an Instagram policy.
This is coming a day after his app was flagged down by Google Playstore for copyright violation and poor ratings by Nigerians.
He still insist Nigerians should dump all foreign social media platforms for his app
As expected .... It's either this government is using you as a means to clamp down on SM freedom or you are reaping the dividends of a saner society.
This clueless charlatans in the present administration have failed to realize that we now live in a global village...so the world doesn't revolve around their sick primitive tyranny ideologies.
I taught he claimed it was on his request his app was deleted , why then say the statement and I quote "they have come for my instagram account" SMH @how stupid this fellow sounds right now in my opinion.
Mikecold: You really believed that lie that he took his app down to debug it when it can be done while on app store
Even the arewa.1son that claimes to contact him already stated otherwise
Where did I mention or state that I believed? SMH...every tech savvy person like me saw the lies and fooling around.

Why am I even bothering with an uninformed individual like you
Lolz just seeing this...you come out like someone pained why? Your opinion about me lacks credence! Howbeit you are also an illiterate in this very subject matter. Deep Quote Ability to discern is a superpower.
So once you join the Nigeria Army you can't have any leisure time. You are not entitled to any form of relaxation.
You have to be serious with a "stone face" all the time. That is very bad, I have seen military personnel from other Countries singing and rapping while in their full kits.
Sometimes they do that to relax and free their minds from trauma and tension. Being a soldier should not stop them from being human and doing extra curricular activities that make them happy. This is the same military my Uncle wanted me to join Four years ago. Uncle I for no forgive you if to say I get that work.
Deep Quote Citizens suffer when there is bad leadership in power/position.
@OP must be either tired of the post or lives in the past. NDDC says June 15 but OP post June 14... Lolz
Anyways guys covid 19 wasn't a strong occurrence on us here in Nigeria... Though we yet know why but still grateful her impact is minimal even though our clueless present leaders took it as an avenue to loot funds and palliatives...SMH
