When I was in primary 2, I engaged in a rocking horse war with a class made ended up breaking 48 panes of glass and got suspended for a week. As that was not enough I did not tell anybody at home that I was suspended. Once my dad dropped me at the school gate I will wait till his car disappears and then I will roam the staff quarters of oau from road 7, 10, 11, 24 till closing time and will come back to the school gate. The scheme worked until Friday when my dad came early and went to see my teacher only to be told I was under suspension. THE BEATING NO GET PART 2!!! 9 Likes |

After watching the interview I finally realised that Nigeria has a major problem. We keep saying the military, the military in a few year the number of year under military will be equal to the number of years we have spent under democracy. They've started using the excuse since 1999. My father was working at the PTI when the warri refinery was built. It was completed in 16 months though the expected delivery date was 18 months. we have spent almost 16 year fixing those refinery. Who are we fooling! It does not take a decade to fix any problem no matter how bad the situation is. Obasanjo spent 8 years - Yaradua/jonathan another 8 years. 16 years and not a single problem we had before 1999 has been fixed seriously! Please give me one good reason why you should not be corrupt in the present situation in Nigeria. Madam Coordinating Minister has been there almost through these two regimes. My 2 cents! We cannot keep bribing everybody! The daylight robbery that was FG sanctioned in the Niger Delta was the biggest mistake ever made in Nigeria. Has the Amnesty granted to the Niger Delta Militant improved the economy of the Area, NO. Instead these so-called billionaire-militant and millionaire-militant come to Lagos to show off! We should stop believing we can just throw money at every problem in this country. Government should instead focus on making Nigeria a better economic and social state. China did not become so large by spending money, they created the enabling environment to tap their biggest resource - WORKFORCE. Nothing stops Nigeria from feeding West Africa. Next time you get water in any electronic gadget. Remove the battery and if possible disassemble it complete. Place all the components especially motherboard, rams, etc in a bag of rice! Leave for about 2 days if possible. It should come back to life! Happened to me was brushing my teeth, then i accidentally knocked over the cup of water all over the laptop! I immediately removed the battery and disassemble the whole thing and placed then in rice. The laptop Still works!!! |
