it is just for medical students including basic medical sciences. simply put, it Is for students of College of Medical Sciences but with a few pharmacy and optometry students. However, ur cousin who is studying law can get the space only when the space has been given to a medical student who doesn't really want to stay there or want to make a fortune out of it. your cousin can then, meet him/her and pay a substantial amount of about 60k as against the normal 25k for clearance fee. meaning the first applicant gets a gain of about 30k. The first applicant then rights a letter of space transfer to the dean of students which will then be approved and then forwarded to the PEO. Then your cousin gets the space legally.
pls note that, it is liable to be rejected as the hostel is purely for medical students except in some special cases when the student has a very influential parent or guardian. so for a law student, the student should have a professor parent or someone with a higher rank than the dean of student. or someone with very close ties with him.

I really appreciate this info! Tankz a lot. My cousin was acually thinking of going personally to plead with the dean of students to help him secure the space! From what you have said I don't think it will work!

NB: a cousin of mine wants to apply for NDDC hostel next session but somebody said its meant for only science students. Pls how true is this? And what's the criteria for getting space in that hostel. My cousin is a law student! Can anybody help with this info pls?

my aunty complained to her that I was becoming wayward and on the street after my secondary school!
