There was some training but they refused to complete it because they felt they did not need it and other mods kept derailing the training thread until I got fed up and gave up on it.

deejay_harry1: You need to employ special mods, or bodies, dont call them mods, call them «EYE sees all» to look up cases like this... and help solve them... THIS group of UNKNOWNS should be given powers to ban mods as well if found guilty... and set it tht once a mod is banned by an EYE sees all, the mod or no mod can unban the mod till after the ban is served, or an EYE sees all unbans ...

If we ban all the mods who misbehave, who will keep the forum clean? Some of the most complained-about mods are also the ones who take their jobs most seriously. Some of the most loved moderators hardly moderate. It's tricky.

If lastgarribender wanted me to personally intervene, LGB would have sent me a PM. I think LGB just wanted a public apology. I don't have much control over the moderators because they are all volunteers. I can talk to deols to find out what really happened; I can't presume that she did not have a good reason for doing what she did.

I'm very sorry about all these happenings.

Or u simply make it 5K per click, which means my N5 will expire after 500 clicks, even if it takes 5 years to exhaust N5.

All clicks are not worth the same amount. Some clicks are more valuable than others.

Yes. There is no limit to the number of categories you can target with an ad at the same time, and also, there is no limit to the number of your ads that can place on the same section.

Bossforeva: how do u charge, is it per click or the other Guess [page views]?

We do not charge you for clicks. We charge you for value delivered, which is determined using a proprietary algorithm that we plan to retune and improve over time. However, it will be helpful to note that our concept of value delivered is highly correlated with traffic, so you will be charged less when there's less traffic, and vice versa, but the average cost per week will tend to be quite close to our estimated ad rates.

You can remove your ads from any section of Nairaland at any time, and place them back whenever you wish to. The UI is very easy to understand.
