The stupid white girl doesn't have the right to tell us what we should be protesting about. Protesting about NEPA will not magically cause huge power generators to spring out of the bowels of the earth and be connected to the grid. Protesting about Boko Haram will not cause them to repent and embrace the gospel. However, protesting about a stupid decision like a change of name which can be easily reversed once the president realises his folly makes more sense. logica: Ha. You need to watch more of Crime & Investigation channel. You will see spouses married for as long as these ones and with many children and maybe even grand-children. I am beginning to think we have as much a problem as in The West with spousal murders but the reason we are oblivious is the poor policing.If such cases happened every day, they would not make good TV. They are shown on TV precisely because they rarely happen. |

Apart from the price, the running cost of the car per year is $300,000, and that's for normal operation. Every-time it breaks down or needs maintenance, you'll have to ship it back to the manufacturers in Italy. Even if you have the money, you won't enjoy it. logica: Do you know the meaning of "suspect". I don't think I need to say any more.In America, being a suspect means they'll examine the evidence and question other eyewitnesses to see whether your story checks out. In Nigeria, being a suspect means they'll arrest you and start torturing you until you tell them what they want to hear or settle them. If a woman has just lost her husband, I think it's wicked and it's inhumane to suggest that the best consolation for her is to be arrested and tortured for the sin of being a survivor. In my opinion, we should not encourage such treatment of widows. |

You should have taken the driver's picture. As it is, we can't be certain the picture was taken in Abuja or even Africa. Any particular reason why the picture has been cropped? What kind of camera did you use? Can you post a bigger version? 5 Likes 1 Share |

logica: Question is, how did the killers know which route he was taking since (I assume) that's not the route to his home? After watching plenty of murder documentaries in which the spouse planned the killing, the wife even looks more of a suspect than anybody else:Don't go there. I think losing her husband is bad enough; it makes no sense to add salt to injury by branding her as the killer unless you have solid evidence. As for her being the only witness; that's unlikely since they were not the only motorists on the road. As for not being hit, since the husband was their main target, it wasn't necessary for them to kill the wife - many bad people have reservations about harming women. So they may not have bothered to check her. |
