Family › Re: 6 ways women can avoid domestic violence. by seunoni34(m): 6:24pm On May 09, 2016 |
Doubleagent008: I am more of the school of thought that believe that the original saying was " don't lay your hands on a LADY". Some women practically beg for it. e.g getting physical with a man, locking up his shirt almost strangling him, slapping and kicking him and his only way of escape is to send one or two brain resetting slaps to the woman. So now u are going to blame him? A lady should be a Lady and a man should be a Man by appreciating and respecting a lady. I personally don't beat a lady never have I done that since I have come of age. I try to avoid the situation totally. I Like what you have up there. Those screaming never beat a woman are just singing a popular mantra. I personally analyse every situation before I crucify a guy for beating a lady. But sadly most women never look at it this way and this is why domestic violence keeps repeating itself |

Romance › Re: Ways Of Meeting Single Guys In Lagos by seunoni34(m): 8:29pm On May 07, 2016 |
Youll most likely never meet any at the gym, Nigerians and average lagosians ain't gym freaks, I have never been there before ( I'm a slim guy though).
Theonly two ways still remains weddings and social media and maybe church too . They're the most realistic places to meet a spouse these days.
And another thing you should know as a lady is to make yourself approachable, put a light smile on your face and stop looking too serious. This is something I've noticed with lagosians generally. Aside the guys sha. Frowning face just makes you look like a snub. No guy wants to summon the courage to chat you up only to end up getting turned down in such a big busy city where people have this "mind your business" attitude to life.
To be honest, Lagos isn't fun socially though, it's just overrated. But it's still a nice place, ones you're serious, you'll make your money. I Just don't like the hurry hurry attitude the populance display every passing day. |

lets be honest,No serious employer in nigeria has time to be checking through your social network activities . All of them care only about your delivery not what goes on in yourprivate life etc . with exception of companies that are PR conscious - that I can't guarantee. But to be on the safer side , switch all your sns accounts to private. |

wilcox: If all you said is true, then you have no business been a employee all you have be is a consultant and work for as many people as you can. Use your talent and set up a consultant firm, I bet more will come for your services. I see no reason why you help a firm to cut cost to the turn of $68,000 and that same firm can't offer you up to 5,000 dollars per annum. In summary, you are been used by your present employer and the firm that offered you 350k still want use you. Exactly. Consultancy is the best option for this guy |

kaeforum: Dont get me wrong. China makes components for all phone brands, i have no problem with them, their good fabricators, its our unscrupulous business people in Nigeria , who got to china and corrupt these manufacturers so that they make inferior phones and ship to Nigeria here.
Dont tell me you are unaware of this fact, thats my point. Look at the shelf life of iphone, BB and samsung, they last long and even command better resell value, thats my point the other clone brands dont, they have short shelf life and low resale value.
But sha people have a right to choose what they want I recognize that. You're just talking out of assumptions. That phones are cheap doesn't make them bad. Most low end Samsung phones don't last long and are very bad and backdated spec-wise. |

kaeforum: The components are made in china for companies in the US, they are compelled to abide by standards, unlike our Nigerian business men who go to china and tell the manufacturers to compromise phones made for Nigeria so that they can make super profits.
There a big difference between samsung, iphone, BB and infinix, injoo and other thrash. I don't know what standard you're taking about, I have used those phones and never had issues with it. Are Samsung and iPhone perfect phones without glitches? Don't be ignorant of what you hate |
