Nazah: Hi everyone, Please I need your help. My family was issued US B1/B2 visa and we travelled the first time and returned without issues. During our second visit, I went ahead of my family. On their way coming, my husband’s visa was cancelled at the port of entry and they were not allowed entry, nothing was said about my children, but they had to return home with their dad. I came back and now want to do dropbox for me and my children (my husband has to go for interview since he is not qualified for a dropbox but he is not ready now). In my children’s DS-160 form, one of the questions is: “Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, or been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the port of entry?” I’m considering answering NO since my husband was the one refused entry. Would this be ok? I need your advice please Even though the children were not deported or refused entry... you must answer NO because they withdrew their application for admission at the port of entry. |

lanrems: Your friend can use the visa up until 16th of DEC without hassles. he will still be able to get the 6months stamp or lesser depending on the CBP in charge. As for the 63years man advice is for him to apply later, embassy is not funny nowadays not business as usual. Your friend can enjoy the trip and buy goodies for the old man on his return.....my advice though!!! I see no reason why they will deny ''Papa'' unless the father did not pass his answer across well... Papa should go ahead with his application.. he's not a travel risk. |

MamaOO: You sure about that? People who come here to birth here use it to take the kids back to Nigeria. I just haven’t seen an adult use it before. That’s why I put it here. The website says you can use it if you’re unable to get a visa. We will see Sha. We already put in the request. Will an immigration officer refuse a baby entry (with a Nigerian mom) |

MamaOO: Abeg, I’ve asked this question on the give birth thread since they’re the ones who do this most. But I figured out, why not here as well?
Anybody ever used the visa on arrival option to Nigeria for an adult before? Nigerian passport is expired and to go to DC or NYC for a new one is a hassle. To get a Nigerian visa here is also proving to be an headache and I thought “why not, visa on arrival?”
I’ve seen it used for babies born here but can an adult use it too? Travel date is mid-December. Thanks. You will need to apply for a business visa to be eligible for visa on arrival. |

carnal: @seyewest and pros in the house, a friend's US visa was issued in 2016, it will expire in december 21, he wants to travel to the US 1st december to return 15th december, 2018, any chances of trouble at POE? more so, he also wants to apply for the dad (63yrs old) to travel with him for a new visa, whats the best advise? It is at the discretion of the CBP officer to let him into U.S or not and decide on how long he will stay in U.S but instead of doing that why not renew the visa and apply for his father asap.... but if he's ready to answer a lot of questions he can go ahead with his travel plan. |

Bossman: Hmmm...this is unbelievable. No matter his personal issues, he is working, representing an entity, and has no right to treat you as such. If he does this with the wrong person, he will be reported, and will likely be terminated.
I live in Chicago, so I pass through these folks quite a bit. And my experience has always been pleasant. So unprofessional and clearly racist. |

Amoj4682: They are very strict now because Nigeria is one of the countries that have citizens that violate US Visa rules. E.g overstaying that results to illegal migration, working on a visit visa. Due to the situation of the economy some people have started working while on holiday so that they can have enough money to pay their rent and foot other bills when they come back.
Some people on F1 visa that has expired have refused to come back home.
Some people have even migrated but they have a valid b1/b2 visa on their passport. It is well.
All this makes the innocent ones get refused.
Na economy cause am. Some other african countries were listed too like South Sudan, Mauritania and others

PinkSunset: No, our interview was in Lagos, just me and my baby.
Yes i agree, any little mistake and your visa is gone. I personally know people that were recently banned. One guy i know went with a visiting visa and spent 5 months. Why on earth will you even spend 3 months on a holiday not to talk of 5 whole months? What sort of holiday do you spend 3-5months on bikonu?
Well, he came back to Nigeria, and on his next trip to Los Angeles, he was denied entry at LAX and banned from entering the U.S again. I asked him how long the ban was for, he said they told him that he's not entering the U.S ever again. Blood of Jesus |

Toptic: Hello house, I'm new here. Planning to relocate with my lady to the states.
I'm into medical and electrosurgical equipments and I had traveled to few countries and also worked in Dubai before.
As for my wife, she had no travel experience. An agent said he'll work on 2years multiple entry for US. But I'm afraid based on some past experiences.
Please advise me the type of visa to apply for and hope I'm on the rightforun Wrong forum... What you intend doing is illegal because you can't just relocate to U.S just like that... you will need to go through the legal/right way by looking at your options... You need to read and do research even agent wan leave naija. |
