Beauty85: Need advice and opinions please... Will be traveling to Atlanta Georgia currently fare is high... Can I get to Newyork first... Then to atlanta Georgia.... Ps.. It's my first time to the USA.
Sorry I couldn't get in touch with you. how far with it.
Please, I am currently experiencing this same problem. I haven't been able to register as a new user in order to schedule an appointment. What could possibly be the problem? I submitted my DS160 two days ago and paid the visa fee at GT bank yesterday morning. I have also tried different emails but it's still the same. I called the embassy too but after waiting for long to be answered by an agent, the call drops from their end. Has anyone else experienced and got it sorted? I'd like to know how to go about it. Please help!
Thank you very kindly.
Write the embassy with your Name and info on your passport data page, they will open a profile for you.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1owUi9XRB8 First video of the year and I did something different this time around, I traveled to Abeokuta, Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria for a tour of Abeokuta, I visited the Ake Palace ground, the first church in Nigeria, the Centenary hall and the famous Olumo Rock. I also included our customary flight trip. I organize trips like this all over West Africa. I Hope you enjoyed the video! Raymum: Anyone booking Turkish Air to Aussie should select the following route: Nigeria(Abj/Lag)> Istanbul> Bangkok-Sydney
Singapore route is a 'No' for now, if u mistakenly pick Sigapore route you be ask at the Airport in Naija to pay approximately 80K Naira (out of pocket) to change route.
Note: Turkish Air won't refund you 'shi shi' Thailand route is very good, use it and thank me later.
Happy New Year guys.... I'm thinking of including UK and European point of entry in this thread. Please let me know how you feel about this, thank you.
Astonestone: Just to share my experience. I travelled with Turkish Airlines (very long layover almost 10hrs). What I was asked: - what am I here for? -how long am I staying? - what was my travel route to the US - Did I buy any tickets before to come to the US - How much did I bring? - take off your mask for capture -Enjoy your stay in the US
There was no secondary check; no one asked anything; could also be because my flight got in around 8pm.
Also at Istanbul I was asked if I had travelled within Europe and those other countries within the last 14days. They also asked if I got any other tickets to the US and show proof of cancellation.
Thanks Seyewest for the help.
Thank you for sharing, we will appreciate more POE experience, God bless you all.
Xavious227: Hey house... Please i have a question. I’ll be flying to the usa around 20th of december for school which is minnesota. However i’ll be flying to kentucky to see a family friend and stay with him till i resume in january. Hope this won’t give issues at the POE as i won’t be flying directly to minnesota?
You can go ahead with your plan, I don't think staying a few days in Kentucky should be an issue, just be prepared with your reason.
Good day guys, I flew Overland Airways from Ibadan to Abuja using ATR 72, Overland Airways operates scheduled flights within Nigeria and parts of West Africa‚ and charter flights to West and Central Africa. Its route network includes Lagos‚ Abuja‚ Ibadan‚ Ilorin‚ Akure and Jalingo in Nigeria‚ as well as Niamey‚ Lome and Cotonou in West Africa. Overall, it was an excellent flight and I'm looking forward to flying with them again. I Hope you enjoyed the video! Please don't forget to subscribe, share, like and leave a comment below...
proeast: He is my immediate elder brother so I don't think accommodating or feeding me for 90 days would be such an impossible sacrifice, even though I can still contribute.
He has been working in America just like many other Nigerians who are not citizens. He told me of different people he has met that came to America and worked for a few months before returning to Nigeria and they all came with either visiting or tourism visa. He has absolutely no reason not to be honest with me.
Of course, I won't tell them at POE that my intention was to work in the US, that will be foolish na. If summer is over, I can wait for another summer.
Thanks for your inputs, I'm not desperate anyways just that he told me about it during one of our conversations and I decided to research more on it. I will also check the link you provided.
Do you think what you want to do is good? To be honest, you're one of the reason Nigerians are finding it hard to get U.S visit visa, you're not suppose to work on a visit visa, if people are doing it, it does not make it right, I know your grand plan is to move your family to the U.S, all this one is testing the ground.
africana10: Thank you for your response. She got this visa in 2019 and this is her second travel to the US on this visa and the first time she told them at the embassy she’ll be going for 3 weeks. She abode by that timeline and came back to Nigeria exactly 3 weeks later so she has never contravened the rules of the visa.
If that's the case, she should take note of the duration stamped on her passport when entering the U.S.
