First video of the year and I did something different this time around, I traveled to Abeokuta, Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria for a tour of Abeokuta, I visited the Ake Palace ground, the first church in Nigeria, the Centenary hall and the famous Olumo Rock. I also included our customary flight trip. I organize trips like this all over West Africa. I Hope you enjoyed the video! Anyone booking Turkish Air to Aussie should select the following route: Nigeria(Abj/Lag)> Istanbul> Bangkok-Sydney

Singapore route is a 'No' for now, if u mistakenly pick Sigapore route you be ask at the Airport in Naija to pay approximately 80K Naira (out of pocket) to change route.

Note: Turkish Air won't refund you 'shi shi'
Thailand route is very good, use it and thank me later.

Did you fly that route personally?

We will probably go with this idea.

Just to share my experience.
I travelled with Turkish Airlines (very long layover almost 10hrs).
What I was asked:
- what am I here for?
-how long am I staying?
- what was my travel route to the US
- Did I buy any tickets before to come to the US
- How much did I bring?
- take off your mask for capture
-Enjoy your stay in the US

There was no secondary check; no one asked anything; could also be because my flight got in around 8pm.

Also at Istanbul I was asked if I had travelled within Europe and those other countries within the last 14days. They also asked if I got any other tickets to the US and show proof of cancellation.

Thanks Seyewest for the help.

Thank you for sharing, we will appreciate more POE experience, God bless you all.

As long as you extended, you are okay, But what if they ask you why didn't you leave with the evacuation flight in July ?

It's not a sin if she/he can't afford it as at that time

Hey house... Please i have a question. I’ll be flying to the usa around 20th of december for school which is minnesota. However i’ll be flying to kentucky to see a family friend and stay with him till i resume in january. Hope this won’t give issues at the POE as i won’t be flying directly to minnesota?

You can go ahead with your plan, I don't think staying a few days in Kentucky should be an issue, just be prepared with your reason.

Its route network includes Lagos‚ Abuja‚ Ibadan‚ Ilorin‚ Akure and Jalingo in Nigeria‚ as well as Niamey‚ Lome and Cotonou in West Africa.
Overall, it was an excellent flight and I'm looking forward to flying with them again.

Hello All,

Pls I just realised I can’t travel with Lufthansa into the US and cancelled my ticket.

I’m flying from Abv with no direct flights

Is B1/B2 allowed to fly into the US now?

Also can I fly with Turkish airline into the US? Has anyone tried this recently?

Or do I have to go to LAGOS and fly through delta?
Awaiting your response as I need to get my ticket ASAP. Thanks

Don't use any European Airline to U.S and I can help you get your ticket as well as providing a lot of options on how to fly to U.S...

He is my immediate elder brother so I don't think accommodating or feeding me for 90 days would be such an impossible sacrifice, even though I can still contribute.

He has been working in America just like many other Nigerians who are not citizens. He told me of different people he has met that came to America and worked for a few months before returning to Nigeria and they all came with either visiting or tourism visa. He has absolutely no reason not to be honest with me.

Of course, I won't tell them at POE that my intention was to work in the US, that will be foolish na. If summer is over, I can wait for another summer.

Thanks for your inputs, I'm not desperate anyways just that he told me about it during one of our conversations and I decided to research more on it. I will also check the link you provided.

Do you think what you want to do is good? To be honest, you're one of the reason Nigerians are finding it hard to get U.S visit visa, you're not suppose to work on a visit visa, if people are doing it, it does not make it right, I know your grand plan is to move your family to the U.S, all this one is testing the ground.

You don't have an invitation to the US, you have a worthless piece of paper that will make zero difference when you go for your interview.

Thank you for your response.
She got this visa in 2019 and this is her second travel to the US on this visa and the first time she told them at the embassy she’ll be going for 3 weeks. She abode by that timeline and came back to Nigeria exactly 3 weeks later so she has never contravened the rules of the visa.

If that's the case, she should take note of the duration stamped on her passport when entering the U.S.

Hello all,
I have a question about POE interview…
A family member is traveling to the US next week on a B2 visa that’s going to expire at the end of October 2021. Duration of stay according to ticket booked is 4 1/2 months cause she’s visiting her daughter who is scheduled to give birth in the US.
Will the length of stay present any problems at POE? ( especially considering the fact that her visa is set to expire in less than a month from entry?)
What should her response be if asked how long she is staying for?
Would appreciate your ideas, opinions and suggestions.
Thanks!

You when traveling to the U.S one thing you need to note is that there's more than 1 dept/unit in charge of entry into U.S... The Consular and the CBP officers at the Airports or Seaports. For a visa with October expiry date you will mostly get a 6 months extension at the Airport (POE) if there is no problem, which means you must leave the United States before April.
My problem with this is that it will be a bit difficult to get visa renewal, you must have a very good reason for the embassy to renew your visa after overstaying beyond what they gave you at the embassy.
You need to think it through, I will advice you to write the embassy just for information purposes.

House ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo plz help.............

Hello friends, Please I need advise on what to do regarding my mom's Ds-160 application form. I lost my dad some years back and am supposed to fill in 1908 as his year of birth, but the ds-160 form currently is not taking any year lower than 1911. Note there is no option of Do not know on the date of birth. Thanks

In the case that do no know is not an option on the form, I will advise you to call the embassy for clarification.

She may not have any issue at all.
The visa gives her the right to arrive at any US border on or before the expiry date. The duration of stay may exceed the expiry date of the visa.
Its the date stamped on her passport that forms her I94 profile that matters. Its usually 6 months. If there is any concern they have at POE, the they annotate the passport with NOAS, NEOS etc etc.
If she's an elderly citizen, which I suspect she is, gong to tend to her daughter and birth of her grandchild, she will be fine.
What is her age (range) and status of the daughter? These are the only things that may come in play with CBP...

You're right and this is what will happen, I would also suggest she answers what was asked at POE, I believe everything will be fine.

There's nothing like 3 days rule.... Covid test must be taken within 72 hours before your flight... your negative/positive last for at least 5-7 days.

This was i think 2015 or 2016. I was narrating my wife's ordeal at Houston POE to a friend (how my wife went to put to bed in Houston) then he overheard our discussion. That was how he narrated his own story to me.
I don't know where his wife works but the husband is my colleague. The wife is a mechanical engineer and i think she was doing her masters in one of our Nigerian Universities then.

As you know 2015-2017 was the easiest years to get U.S visa till we spoilt it by abusing the terms of visa.
I doubt someone will get U.S visa now without good travel history and very good verifiable work.
At this point, God has nothing to do with it.
