if you want to go into farming business, you need patience and be free to learn.
farming is not a make quick cash venture.
i have actually contacted pastor for proposal and having gone through it carefully, i concluded it does not measure up. any proposal that does have a detailed cash flow management is not worth it. ome condition in the proposal seem to rip off the investors plantain farming is a very good farming business is properly managed but don't expect much in the first one and half year.
you can still do business with him cos not matter what he has the experience you need invariably, you need him.
my advice is dont be rigid, keep trying and get you own land (don't hire) and appreciates (it become your resistance when loss arise) ie if you loose some your money, your land is still there.

you really have a lot of work to do.

you can go to market and ask those selling chickens for the source of their chickens, in that way, you may have the privilege to meet the farmers and convince them on your products.

you have to ask around for farm settlements around your locality where poultry farms are located.

if you can\t do it yourself, try and get people to do it for you. (nor disrespect for corpers) try and get one of them to do the marketing for you and pay them salary or commission, whichever is ok by you plus accommodation.

you see, to start a farm does not really mean you should buy a land. why not rent 1 or 2 hectare of land for a minimum period of three years, which will not cost you more than 25% of your budget depending on location and use the rest of the fund to do the planting of crops.

mind you, do aim big, start small pending find other things to do pending the harvesting period.

however what type of farming do you intend to go into?

willsman: My problem here is Aims Asset Management ltd. How do i know whether they are registered to trade on stocks sold in the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange market?
I invested half a million naira through them in 2008 but was not given CSCS account number and Clearing House Number(CHN) but investment certificates they gave to me them and the worst part of it is that i have written series of emails to them without reply and i don't no whether my money is gone.

i have a similar experience with aims asset management ltd, no feed back, no return and when you want to quit they tell you the stock they bought for you is not yet listed on the stock exchange market, while the purported investment they put your money is flourishing. check out tetrazini foods, is it being run at loss.
maybe one day i will take my family there for dinner (joke) bottom line is that they are not transparent or simply a thief.
