Is not a disgrace to Catholicism, its the ignorance of the people. The same problem that befalls this nation (tribalism) is what you see happened there at ahiara diocese.
How can Nigeria be one, when tribalism is even practised among the same people with different dialects? Shame on the Ahiara Christian Community. They may live to regret this, but God is merciful. So brother, rephrase your statement because when you Catholics, you are generalising it like it occurs everywhere. This same similar issues occurs when higher institution want to appoint VCs and Rectors, they tribalize it. So how can this stop?,

This is serious. Real old. I watched 90% of the above listed. I think there's one too called Ako man, I don't know if I got the spelling, Pingu, Droopy, the Simpsons and few I can't remember especially when we licked eclairs sweet along. Lol.

The Divine Mercy is a Roman Catholic devotion focused on the mercy of God and its power, particularly as a form of thanksgiving and entrusting of oneself to God's mercy.

The devotion as known today can be traced to Polish nun and canonized saint, Sister Faustyna Kowalska, known as the "Apostle of Mercy", who lived from 1905-1938.

[1] It is based upon the biblical verse: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you

[2] in that anyone who seeks God's mercy will not be turned away.

According to Kowalska,

Jesus, in inner speakings to her, requested her to commission a picture of him with the words Jezu Ufam Tobie (Jesus I Trust In You) inscribed on the bottom.

The Hour of Great Mercy

At three o'clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy ,  In this hour I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion. As often as you hear the clock strike the third hour immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it, invoke it's omnipotence for the whole world, and particularly for poor sinners, for at that moment mercy was opened wide for every soul. In this hour you can obtain everything for yourself and for others for the asking; it was the hour of grace for the whole world - mercy triumphed over justice. Try your best to make the Stations of the Cross in this hour, provided that your duties permit it; and if you are not able to make the Stations of the Cross, then at least step into the chapel for a moment and adore, in the Most Blessed Sacrament. My Heart, which is full of mercy: and should you be unable to step into chapel. immerse yourself in prayer there where you happen to be, if only for a very brief instant.


How to pray the Chaplet

1. Begin with the Sign of the Cross, 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary and The Apostles Creed.

2. Then on the Our Father Beads say the following: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

3. On the 10 Hail Mary Beads say the following: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (Repeat step 2 and 3 for all five decades).

4. Conclude with (three times): Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

The Divine Mercy Novena

Jesus asked that the Feast of the Divine Mercy be preceded by a Novena to the Divine Mercy which would begin on Good Friday. He gave St. Faustina an intention to pray for on each day of the Novena, saving for the last day the most difficult intention of all, the lukewarm and indifferent of whom He said: "These souls cause Me more suffering than any others; it was from such souls that My soul felt the most revulsion in the Garden of Olives. It was on their account that I said: 'My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass Me by.' The last hope of salvation for them is to flee to My Mercy." In her diary, St. Faustina wrote that Jesus told her: "On each day of the novena you will bring to My heart a different group of souls and you will immerse them in this ocean of My mercy ,  On each day you will beg My Father, on the strength of My passion, for the graces for these souls."
The different souls prayed for on each day of the novena are:

DAY 1 (Good Friday) - All mankind, especially sinners

DAY 2 (Holy Saturday) - The souls of priests and religious

DAY 3 (Easter Sunday) - All devout and faithful souls

DAY 4 (Easter Monday) - Those who do not believe in Jesus and those who do not yet know Him

DAY 5 (Easter Tuesday) - The souls of separated brethren

DAY 6 (Easter Wednesday) - The meek and humble souls and the souls of children

DAY 7 (Easter Thursday) - The souls who especially venerate and glorify Jesus' mercy

DAY 8 (Easter Friday) - The souls who are detained in purgatory;

DAY 9 (Easter Saturday) - The souls who have become lukewarm.

During the Solemn Novena leading to Divine Mercy Sunday, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy should be offered each day for the day's intentions.

even in the Catholic church, there are members who still roll with the modern valentine way of celebration, So let's not act like saints. Yes we all know St Valentine "as we were taught" was a saint bla bla bla who was known for his acts of love.

What is virginity?


This is a question many young people today ask. But before I go deeply into this topic lets find out what virginity is all about. Virginity is the state of never having had sexual intercourse. It is really that simple if you have never had sexual intercourse you are a virgin.

Being a virgin is a good thing but I have noticed in today’s world that most people don’t appreciate or care for it like people in the previous generations did. Now people do everything humanly possible to lose their virginity.


Growing up many of us were taught the importance of virginity and how it will help our life by preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease but as we grew up we realize that keeping it is not as easy as we were made to believe and we beginning to question our belief and things we were made to believe.

So back to the question should I keep my virginity till I get married. Being a virgin is a choice and it is really up to you to make your choice. Don’t be in a hurry to lose your virginity because others are losing theirs take your time and think it through.

Being a virgin its all about choice and your belief. Most people have decided to keep their virginity to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STDS. And others to not ruin their relationship with God.
