JASONjnr: Again, CR7 is way better than Messi and I won't even bother wasting my time with urchins quoting me...
FIFA president's reaction when France scored tell alot about the fixing of all Argentina's games...... You're not even ashamed. A player who hasn't been to a world cup final before - who was fighting over a goal that didn't even touch him and scored only a dubious penalty against Ghana in the entire world cup, who even his own national team coach believes he's finished and not good enough to start matches is who you're comparing with a guy that that practically dragged his team across the line to win the world cup bossing every match. He almost did same in 2014 only to lose unluckily to Germany in the final. As for your last statement about match fixing, it's just so funny. So they'll allow the opponents score 3 goals with 2 penalties and lose to penalty shootout in a fixed match? Are you talking to kids. |

Roboto11: How many world cups has Ronaldo won?
That's going too far. The question you should be asking if Ronaldo has seen what a world cup trophy looks like from close distance - in order words he hasn't even played in the final before, so much for a so-called GOAT of football. At least Messi before winning this came close in 2014 when they lost the final in extra time to Germany through Gotze's goal. |

OLULAW: Academics and the academia in Nigeria have become a joke. From sexually transmitted degrees (STDs), to publishing in predatory journals—also called fraudulent, deceptive, or pseudo-journals—featuring publications that claim to be legitimate scholarly journals, but misrepresent their publishing practices. From ghost publishing to honorary authorship, let alone institutional rot in the Nigerian educational system evinced by gross underfunding, I personally have no modicum of respect for home-bred Nigerian academics and qualifications emanating from Nigeria. They are not worth the paper they're written on. Sorry to be blunt. While you have a point about the sorry state of higher education in Nigeria, saying you have no regard for ANY academic or qualifications emanating from Nigeria is simply delusional at best - many people with Nigerian certs (medics, IT guys) and academics with Nigerian Master's/PhD are present in many top firms, Universities and research centres in developed countries like the US, UK, Canada etc, on merit and doing themselves proud. If I may ask, where were you trained and what distinctive thing have you achieved that a home-bred Nigerian hasn't achieved either in Nigeria or the diaspora? |

Only to start complaining of the authority forcing your children to recite christian songs, hymns, bible verses or attend worship service. What exactly are you guys looking for if not for unnecessary trouble. If you don't want your children to be forced to recite christian songs and participate in Christian activities, it's wise you send them to a school that preaches and encourages your belief. Don't mind the hypocrites. The same way you'll see them not wanting to relocate and live permanently in core Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran etc but they'll be eyeing the likes of US, UK and Canada, and wanting to impose their way of lives there. |

zeusdgrt: FIFA trying so hard to give this cup to messi to spat Ronaldo just as they did against Netherlands. Abi na my CR7 fan. FIFA President even came into the pitch invisible and was scoring all Argentina goals in the world cup. Even the 2 goals Argentina scored before Netherlands equalized didn't cross the line. The referee that gave 10 minutes for extra time and even blew final whistle after over 12 minutes when Netherlands equalized was doing that favour Messi. Infantino instructed Portugal coach to start putting our savior CR7 on the bench because without him Portugal can't win a match. He even went as far as instructing Portugal players not to score against Morocco. All this just to spite our Goat CR7 and make Messi win the World cup. Don't mind FIFA. I actually wish them goodluck. They will sweat and grind for every penny. Nothing is given freely.
Whilst I know the country failed them, I also know that this is second slavery. The West don't need guns and mirrors anymore, they just need to dangle visas and tweak their policies a little and our best hands will run and go slaving for them, whilst their citizens idle away and enjoy the fruit of our peoples hardwork. Just like the days of old.
The West got this advanced with the sweat of Africans and other less developed nations. They're still doing same till date. It's pathetic. Your last point is contestable. Implying the technological sophistication of the West today is down to Africa's effort is taking things too far. Why can't those same Africans replicate that in their own countries. The curriculum and course contents for Engineering, IT etc to develop these things and innovations that you're taught in schools in Africa was also developed by Africans and less developed nations I suppose? Some of you typing all these rubbish will not be able to handle a quarter of what he is handling without breaking down.
He won't be the Presidential aspirant, the senatorial, and governorship aspirant at the same time. The goal is Aso Rock. After that, every other thing will fall in place. That you support a candidate doesn't mean when he does wrong, you say it. He is human and can err at times, which is normal but the problem is you guys who are his followers will never admit he can do any wrong. How can anyone really justify a Presidential candidate coming to a state without asking after the gubernatorial candidate in the same state. Ordinary, it's the gubernatorial candidate who's more or less the party leader in the state, that should receive him on arrival. |

I decide to bold this part for those Tribalists especially some Yoruba Muslims that are tribalist that feel Igbos are the one that engage in fraud abroad.
Normally they would have flooded this thread with all kind of hate speech against Igbos. But I'm happy that when they throw a blow nature finds a way of throwing three blows back at them.
I know a guy that lost 33.5 Million contract in 2015 for being tribalistic. Till today dude is still damn broke. The debt on his head, "cumbersome."
This is highest I know of people who have lost something for being a tribal bigot.
For those always salivating on Igbo thread/ssues, I keep telling/saying it you all hate will drown you someday. You think life is a one party race? I laugh. Keep quiet, you turn blind eyes to your Igbo brothers insulting them calling them afonja, conehead and all what not here but quick to point when they do same to you. Only Igbos are allowed to insult other tribes in your narrow mind. Your own definition of tribalism is only when it is directed at Igbos, not when Igbos insult others. In your mind, these people caught are all Yorubas that's why you're boldening their names, but only one person out of the four has a clear Yoruba name - Toluwani Adebakin. |
