mrvitalis: "If we stabilize power supply "
Nigerians are too poor for constant power supply... Anyone who can afford constant power supply have it... It's just fact that you guys don't want to accept
Average Nigeria needs to pay $100 monthly per house for us to have power 24/7
Fuel would sale for 1000 there is nothing anyone can do about it ... You need about $100 to fuel your car monthly
The issue should be focusing on your people earning more than focusing on the impossible of reducing cost You are very correct. The thorny question then is, how do you improve the purchasing power of an average Nigerian? The answer I believe is an industrial revolution. Think about what you just said, if the government put more monies in the pockets of the people, I believe the country will plunge itself into a mammoth inflation. The country has reached that state that any economic decision which is not well thought about will result in much more problems. We need people who are able to think outside the box in positions of leadership. |

creativehubb: Government should impose import ceilings on goods we don't really need, we must drastically reduce our imports. If we don't demand dollars, it's value will drop. QED. You want to reduce importation, you don't have good roads, no electricity, no security, your economic and social environment is inconducive for investment. How will you survive if you place a ban on import? |

yemex04: I am 100% with the Erisco Foods Ltd. As much as the Consumer can always be right, the Manufacturers should equally be protected from sponsored & careless malicious defamation of their products.Customers can complain but certainly not through the Social Media..What if the Product conforms with acceptable standard? That your taste board feels higher concentration of sugar doesn't mean others will feel same. It's her right as a consumer to make reviews through any medium. |

TheCongo2: With respect to the bolded, do you care about the fact that seventy-three percent of the senior executives are white? And only 2% are black. Do your job as you say you do. But your white colleagues are more likely to be promoted before you do. Nothing will change if we live in denial. On the contrary, I got promoted even before I was due. |

TheCongo2: The subtle nuances are the reason why seventy-three percent of the senior executives, men and women, are white. While only 2% are black. For the advancement of black people, we can't ignore subtle racism.
@Professor822714 Do you expect the contrary when they are far more than us numerically? I have seen a lot of top executives who are blacks. This mentality is a reason why blacks don't want to take strides in high places. Indians face much more discrimination but still they are going ahead to take over political leaderships in the developed countries of Europe and America. |
Travel › Re: Nigerians Abroad. Share Your Experience With Racism And Discrimination by shegzee43: 6:46pm On Sep 21, 2023 |
TheCongo2: Racism in Canada is more subtle than obvious. You will never see or hear anything racist. However, the more time you will spend in Canada, the more you will feel racism. This is why it is called subtle or everyday racism. There is discrimination everywhere in the world and that requires a professional to be armed with that level of emotional intelligence to help glide through all kinds of situations. For example, I know the kind of people I work with, and I don't talk or banter unnecessarily, I do my job and that's it. |

Nigeria is irredeemable because people that should know better are unavoidable partisan and bereft of common sense. You should rather think and analyze before you talk.
