jesusjnr: MISTAKE NO. 1: THE CORRECTION 3 Jesus made another amendment to address such sexist and anti-women mindset, such as the situation where women are blamed for every bad thing that happens to a man and any mistake he makes, which dates back to the beginning of course after the fall of man, when her oppression actually began, when man would blame her for eating the forbidden fruit, as if he was a baby and she forced it into his mouth. So that trend has continued up to this very day as a man'd be asked why he committed adultery and even rape? And he would be like it was the woman that caused it, she seduced me, she wore a revealing dress and so on, as a woman is meant to be blamed for all man's problems and falling into sin but Jesus would say: "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Mt 5:27-28.(KJV). I thought you'd say, 'Jesus amended the sexists position by naming at least 3 of His 12Apoatles as women. I don't have a problem with Jesus being sexiest. that one concern you. |

jesusjnr: MISTAKE NO. 1 THE CORRECTION 2 Also the instance of the law of Moses about divorce that's apparently very sexist and anti-women in nature, which Jesus amended to address whatever injustices that's being perpetrated against her on its basis. For Jesus said: "Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery." Lk 16:18.(KJV). This was his amendment of that sexist and anti-women law in the law of Moses about divorce that gave a man the right to put away his wife for every cause, and it could be observed the glaring difference between both, as while that of the law of Moses was heavily tilted in favor of the men, that of Jesus was more balanced for the both sexes to address that injustice. Hence Jesus showed that one of his purposes of coming to the earth was to fight against such weapons of injustice and oppression that are formed especially by men against the women. But you also forget or deliberately skipped the part that He said the only bases for divorce is when one party commits sexual sin(?) |

jesusjnr: And Benny Hinn's one of the leading church leaders on Earth, both in name and in terms of mighty works, and if there's a name of anyone of recent times that's synonymous with his ministry, it's got to be Kathryn Kulman, a woman, as he's just can't stop talking about her. So that's an instance in the past that God proved that Paul was on his own when he said that, and up till this day God's still using women mightily in the church. But this is to the confounding of some who'd accepted that saying of Paul concerning women as the word of God, as they think it goes contrary to "the word of God" whenever that happens. But the truth's that it was never the word in the first place but only the word of man and of the flesh, even though it was included in the Bible, and emanated from the teachings of a true apostle of Jesus called Paul. For God is not a respecter of the word of the flesh neither does he keep the rules of men, so God use of women in the church contrary to that saying of Paul's because it's not his word Again, you got it wrong. Paul wasn't referring to all women in all the Churches. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Many Mistakes Of Apostle Paul's Teachings: Mistake No. 7 Correction by Shepherd00: 4:15pm On Apr 20, 2019 |
jesusjnr: And so despite that many of the church claim that all of Paul's writings were inspired of God and without any single mistake, it's almost a mission impossible to try and find any church which keeps this particular saying of Paul concerning women. So if it's truly inspired of God as they claim it to be, and not a mistake that emanated from the flesh, then they should tell us why they have refused to keep it? God has shown overtime that he had absolutely nothing to do with that saying of Paul concerning women, as he has used several women mightily in the past not just to speak in the churches but also to lead churches. And one excellent example of such is a woman called Kathryn Kulman who he used to rare degree to show his mighty works, that it'd be difficult to mention the name of several men in the same breath as hers in recent history with respect to the extent to which God used her to show his works, that she became a huge inspiration to many men in the church, inclusive of church leaders such as Benny Hinn What is the second mistake? You have gone on to criticize others. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Many Mistakes Of Apostle Paul's Teachings: Mistake No. 7 Correction by Shepherd00: 4:14pm On Apr 20, 2019 |
jesusjnr: And if not then where was the man that she was caught in the very act of adultery with? but it was just a reflection of their oppressive and repressive mindset towards those of the opposite sex. Another instance among others was with respect to their opposition to the saying of Jesus concerning marriage when he implied that it was wrong for a man to divorce his wife,(Mt 5:32, 19:3-12), for it was not that they cared at all about the law of Moses but that they didn't have any respect for women, and hence wanted to be divorcing them for any reason at all, so they were only looking justify such actions with the law but Jesus let them know that it was not right but that it was only for the hardness of their hearts that Moses gave such a law. So obviously despite that it was not to that same degree, it was this same sexist trait of the pharisees that reared it ugly head in Paul on that occasion and was behind that demeaning and most insulting saying about women. This is strictly prejudice which has nothing to do with Jesus-Christ stance, hence he threw it on their faces. He said, if caught in Adultery both shd be stoned. It wasn't Paul who said the woman shd be killed and let the man go. |

jesusjnr: MISTAKE NO. 1 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home : for it is a shame for women to speak in the church 1Corin 14:34-35.(KJV).
This writing of his is one of the most glaring mistakes that he made that even the staunchest of his fans would agree that this saying was never inspired by the Spirit Of God, but purely a product of his flesh, as this is arguably one of the most sexist saying that one could ever come across in the whole of the Bible. For it's not that she shouldn't be allowed to lead a church, for that'd be even less severe even though yet erroneous, but this is that she shouldn't even speak in the church. The pharisees were seen to be very sexist figures as they'd bring a woman to Jesus with the allegation that she was caught in the very act of adultery, and it beggars the question, if it's possible for one to be caught alone in the very act of adultery? You just pulled out this without considering the backdrop of events that occasioned it. You'd have preferred the Grecian women who were prominent in their time in lotting it over their men as a result of their gods being feminine? These Gentile female folks brought into the church the stance they held in their pagan temples (Which was men taking orders from women) and without Paul stepping in to quail the tide, there wouldn't have been order for the gospel to thrive. What Paul said was peculiar to the Corinthian Church, not the entire body of Christ. Besides, I think your fight is with the Jesus you claim is your Lord. For, He made it so. Men always rule over women. Call it sexist, it changes nothing. I can't see any female Priest in Israel, I will hardly call Deborah a prophet, for prophets Prophesy. What did she prophesy? You know why this is? Eve brought that on herself and her female Offspring. Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.Anybody wey e pain, make him go beat Jesus. |

jesusjnr: Most of such mistakes in the writings of Paul can be traced to his background as a pharisee and also the pride that is usually assiociated with the educated or those that Jesus called "the wise and prudent" which usually makes it hard for them to be able to enter into the kingdom of God. Therefore although Paul was an exception to the re usual order of the pharisees-who were usually hypocrites and corrupt elements who did all they did for their own selfish reasons as they didn't have the love of God in their hearts-as he truly loved God and that's the reason behind his persecution of the church, as he felt he's doing what God required of him, those traits still appeared to have some bearing in his writings. And i think that Paul could really have done with learning at the master feet as the other disciples, for some of such issues which Paul had, had already been addressed by Jesus in the lives of his disciples whlile he was yet here on earth, such as Paul's desire for power and supremacy. This Bipolar disordered fellow. |
