Mr Dalover, your logic about lagos being developed significantly with oil money is weak, if one of ur relation who earns from the government decides to put up a good structure in Lagos, do we say he developed his property with oil money then? As long as he does not forces his service or prodvct on nobody and he does not steal, his money is from his effort. However we can say his employers (the govt) paid him with what is significantly Oil money. Pls don't count hard earned money as oil money here. |
For those of us who don't know, Amnesty International is a Yoruba/hausa thing oh . . . They hate anything Gej!!! . . . Lol without a doubt, Gej's attempt to score a cheap political point with corruption has backfired. |
No surprise. For a govt that paid its way into power, i wasn't expecting anything less. Everything thing has a monetary value in this country. |
Typical back and forth thread. For those using Jamb stats, it only applies to educatn up to secondary sch level. If the op meant secondary school then i may consider Deltans and Anambrans. |
PapaBrowne: Imo Delta Anambra and Edo state are by far the most educationally inclined states in the country.jamb's stat can only support arguments for education up till secondary sch. level. If we are to use Tertiary institution as our benchmark, i will give it to osun state based on my experience during NYSC. I noticed that osun state indigenes had highest level of participation. Though states like edo, delta, ogun & oyo had high number of grads too, osun state surprisingly topped the list. If we were to move higher to PHD/Proffesor level then i will give it to ekiti/ondo/part of osun. Overall i give it to ekiti and ondo people because of their high percentage of highly educated people in their overall population. |

GEJ is only protecting his 2015 ambition. He knows PDP holds the key to his 2015 aspirations. This is what we are stuck with till 2015 . . . next time we should learn to be more objective when voting. A party that will use the lives of Nigerians to settle difference within its members does not deserve to exist. Azazi has spoken well as far as i am concerned. . . PDP is the reason boko haram is still strong today, however this is not to say other political parties cannot go so low to, if they are given the chance i know lots of politicians would do same, as long as the can escape justice. The problem is more of a Nigerian thing. |
Kobojunkie: If you do business with Government and put there on the bill that the cost of a hammer was $3000, and Government approves, and pays it, is it ILLEGAL?from what was said during the subsidy struggle, the marketer who defrauded FG did not inflate the price of product supplied most times, but claim to have supplied more than actually did. Now if u ask me, that is completely illegal. Ur example of hammer being supplied for $5000 shld be legal is that is the best offer the government can get and it comes under due process and fair competition. |
Come on Musiwa.., show them those maps again. This clearly show you the north is not happy. They know about the maps that shows oil in the north also oil dry up in Bayelsa. This is the reason we have Bh. They can now see the maps. :-P |
For 51 years, we couldn't bring justice to most of our corrupt public office holders, the UK had to come our rescue on this one. Thanks alot Big brother UK. |
Most stupid thread of the year!!! Since when has it become an achievement for a state to generate additional 132kva? that is just 0.132 mva or 0.132 megawatt. Do you guys know how many 500kva gen are being run around the country alone. . . ? |
To me, Sharia is for primitive minds. It is culture that pulls others down by violence and suppression, the north shld try and be more progressive in their quest for what they truly want. No amount of hate for a more progressive south will translate into success for them. |
What a thread!!! I know those ND millitant will never retreat a single step, never! Not for the Nigerian army...lol |
IBB's regime !!! Devaluation, corruption, and many more, all under IBB. |
Progressive and vibrant Delta state indeed. |
While on visit to warri last two month. I went to buy petrol in a filling station in warri with jerry can and they sold a litre which normally cost N97 to buyers with jerrycan for N130 while those buying it in their car on thenext fuel pump, just about 4m away, paid the normal N97. The marketers, filling station owner along with the ever cooperative govt agencies are our bane in this oil industry saga. The people of BAYELSA shld have known this months earlier. Too late now. |
The most obvious and negative pattern of marginalization is that of our leaders oppressing and suppressing the masses. Like someone rightly observed, the masses are still defending them. |
@beaf stop accusing Gbawe falsely and qouting him out of context. This "owners of Nigeria" blackmailing of Gbawe is now your last 'bus stop' whenever he presents a superior analysis of any issue that exposes the weakness of Gej, or PDP. |
ACN's domination of Yoruba land (the SW) does not make it a Yoruba party. . . . pls let's be more objective here. The renovation of the church in 'Otuoke' is very strange to me, especially when we consider the type of projects the oil companies usually execute when fulfilling their CSR before now. The fact that it is coming immediate after Gej complained about the state of the church in question, tells it all. One thing i find strange about this and nobody seem to be observing is a company of such status (which shld be open to the public) choosing a relatively private institution to fulfil their CSR, if our brother up North shld take after this pattern in pursuing their hidden agenda, i hope the Ss folk defending Gej/the defaulting company won't see anything wrong in it. |
I think it is time we have a Musiwa.., section where only will be Musiwa-styled threads will be allowed . . . If allowed? Even the joke section will be no match for it. Musiwa, u r a classic nairalander!!! |
We all know GEJ made too many pady pady with the supreme cabal in Nigeria b4 he could access the seat of power. As usual he will try to give Nigerians the impression that the power reform is progressing as expected and there is no cause for alarm but in reality the man is helpless and has little or no real control of the ship called Nigeria. I pity those who chose to follow and believe Gej blindly because he is their brother . . . by the time GEJ is through, all the progress-in-any-region-cometh-by-a-son-of-that-region-assuming-power or He-is-the-Messiah notion should be put to rest. |
I feel like running outa Nigeria after hearing this SO SO SAD STORY. . . . Haba!!!!! |
pwilliams: I think u are an un appreciative fellow and I know if u were among does u ,u won't move an inch cos from ur comment u re very lazy and “big mouthed”and ur comment is not needed in a forum lyk dis where men are talking, naira land really need to watch d kind of personality de register lyk u,dot u think soReally? What has been hindering our progressive and vibrant deltans from actions like this? Dem eye just dey open abi? ? ? onyewec3: Shut ur wide trap up if u've got nothing to contribute. Action congress is in charge of lagos, ogun, oyo yet its been ridden with area boys and lately armed robbers have turned ogun state to dere domain!is ACN the opposite of PDP? How does ACN come into this thread now? pwilliams: I think u are an un appreciative fellow and I know if u were among does u ,u won't move an inch cos from ur comment u re very lazy and “big mouthed”and ur comment is not needed in a forum lyk dis where men are talking, naira land really need to watch d kind of personality de register lyk u,dot u think soReally? Hmmm!!! . . . A progressive and vibrant Delta state people indeed!!! after thousands have been kidnapped already . . . |
Beaf, can u do us all a favour by presenting facts like Gbawe did when comparing Osun state to Akwa Ibom and stop using Okorocha u r ''probably'' not sure of to argue blindly. If possible give us population, land area, average monthly allocation and major projects since Alams time of Bayelsa state, and let's see how PDP is performing there. Aregbesola is doing a sensible thing by constructing new and strategic roads as well as upgrading sub-standard ones built by PDP govt of oyinlola. |
Gbawe, leave them haters alone. Tat particular pix beaf is spaming the thread with actually shows that work has been done on the said road no matter how small it is. I wonder if Oga beaf can show the pixs for multibillion naira IPP of Uduaghan. |
Nice move in the right direction with good timing. Even though osun is not the most financially buoyant state, Aregbesola is not performing bad when compared to others. They don't have a DESODADEC, a NDDC, or Oil companies giving 'hand outs' and CSRs but still . . . |
When will northern nigeria do ![]() ehn? |
100+ ipads (let's say 200 ipads at most since it says 100+) that will be (30,000,000 X 150(dollar/naira ratio))/200 ipads ) = 20+ mil in naira. |
A progressive and vibrant Anambra indeed!!!!!!! lol . . . . . . . hihihihihihihi |
