Nice to here this from Gej, should the courses involve practicals on entreprenueral ideas, then i support it. Most grads today have no single hands-on skill and are only willing to consider high paying jobs even when there is nothing of note to offer. Such a program will be beneficial to most undergrads especially the our public school undergrads. |
Onlytruth:Oil could equally be flowing from Ogun/Ondo's untapped reserve into reserves already being explored in othe regions too. I think the Ibos shld be happy their oyel has not been tapped and used to run an ineffecient Govt yet or stolen. |
The top police officers who 'facilitated' his escape must be tracked down immediately and treated like real BH members. I don't want them dismissed just like we r used to. Those guys definitely know top BH members. |
@ranlaen, i thought the oil derivation revenue to states has always been based on what comes out of each state and not total total oil reserves, are u sure of what ur saying? Anyway, Congrats to Anambra for such a feat. I hope it does not turn out to be another ND style pain in the azz. |
Maybe we shld just call it 'Area'- pronounced with warri accent. . . . |
I don't see anything wrong in Ribadu's action or PDP's action. ACN and PDP to a large extent do not have strong political Ideologies or School of thought that contradict one another. There is nothing wrong in Ribadu's actions as far as i am concerned. |
tanimola22:u forgot to multiply by 100. |
luvola:How did ur HOD manage to do such. Did remark their exam scripts using stiffer marking scheme or he just 'ordered/changed' their CGPA to 2.2 like that. |
There is nothing special in118 1st class out of a sample of 3000+ in a relatively compethtive school like unilag is what i meant, not just 1st class in any run down school. As a matter of fact some schs do deny some of their students 1st class if they feel they are much purplekayc: |

fork adict:what is wrong with the No. of 1st class they grad? In a sample of 3,000+ grads only 118 could make distinction, i think the No. of 1st class is a bit low. There is nothing special in it. |
Why not create a poll for it, more pple will easily participatein ur survey. I prefer to download (due to high quality availability online) most times and satellite TV (Pay TV) |
Seun shld ban/cencor the word Biafra in NL it is getting too much these days. Whoever opened this thread should endeavour to tell the fate igbo pple who rejoiced at pregnant women being slaughtered in their sleep based on God's word |
Onlytruth:have u seen the map of Nigeria in the last 20yrs? I strongly believe with u ve not with ur post above. |
Post no. 19 does not give any interpretation to the quote highlighted within it. |
@Jarus, I was expecting u to honour the request in the comment below by giving us ur own interpretation of the bolded atleast. RoadStar:i av gone thru ur replies but it i can't see any direct answer. |
afam4eva:if a master like you is, who am i on NL not to behave myself ? . . . |
afam4eva:its a combination of both, u don't priortize two state with equal land mass but with different population equally. Lagos has a small land mass but the highest population density. The whole aim is to impact the people more |
afam4eva:they av to budget more for states with larger land mass be it forest or not because linking two points or locations with roads network will require more KM or lengthier roads to be tarred which in turn cost more money. Also for health and education, more schools and hospital need to be built across such land mass to aid their accessibility. As for the oil producing states u mentioned, the oil revenue allocation is calculate by what each state contributes i.e 13% of total contribution from onshore oil pumped out each state. |
Ninapha:I was expecting him to support it. If one Azikiwe has made a mistake in joining it (NIGER AREA) together i expect another to correct it. This guy proving to be the second coming of the first Azikiwe. |
Economic love advance refused. . . Lol |
I hope this man is for real. He even said he was go to build three new schools few days back. |
There is fuel scarcity in most part of the country right now |
That's the reality of most Nigerian unis. I was thinking with the kind of score of the student in question, he shld be one of the few ones they will retain and allow to excel. Such a student are the ones u expect to make good grades, probably a first class. |
SLS shld come out and clear his name, these allegations are not the type anyone can wave aside with his take on issues that are unrelated here. I hope he sues the writer of this piece so we can know who is who. |
Jarus, i think what SLS and Clinton said r different. I also don't totally agree with clinton on this. Violence is poverty driven most times, but in northern Nigeria's case it is 90% hate/illiteracy driven and less than 10% poverty driven. |
Even though i don't agree with SLS donation, the uproar which has gradually taken an ethnic dimension has given him a cheap clue on what he must do to calm down the nerves of certain group of pple. Some important questions i was hoping to get answer to are: who among the CBN board first suggested Kano as the beneficiary? Was the Kano victims intended to be the only beneficiary of CBN's donation? Did SLS av any intention to donate to madalla victims b4 the uproar or is he using the backlash as a guide to calm things down. Did he really attempt to met with church head in madalla for donation? I think the moment the Falanas and Ohanezes started challenging the CBN governor and complaining immediate after his donation, the man got a clue as to what his next step was going to be. |
Manch7531 even Nl server cant stand u beloved biaf** it had to truncate it. |
. |
No matter what we say here, the real owners of Nigeria remain the real owners of Nigeria. They av spoken for now lets just wait, bash ourselves on Nl and watch what happens . . . Reality 101 . . . Very harsh indeed . . . Chai. |
@op Hmmm . . . TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE |
