They are just trying to distract the likes of Femi Falana and Kayemo. Armed robbery be punished with jail time. If they tried to kill or kill in the course in the robbery then we can say the death sentence is deserved. |
I hope he is not talking about his next and last coup attempt. Gej watch out. Big B1, whereve u are, take heart . . . ehn ! ! ! |
sheyguy, nigerian did not decide to live together during independent, what happen was that britain refuse to grant independent to the western region at that time. And the only way independent could have been obtain according to zik. Who trick chief Obafemi awolowo and Ahmed Bello , please note the word trick. Nnamdi Azikiwe decieve Awolowo and Ahmed bello into accepting independent together because he said it was possible to break up nigeria after independent just like India and Pakistan did. So they agree with Azikiwe to get independent together. But after independent initial agreement was not followed through by azikiwe and others. The Western region of the Niger area seek independent from britain alone in 1957 but got self government.
musiwa, i want to disagree with ur point above that says zik promised the Awo and Amadu Bello (AB) that they can decide to go immediately after independence. I want to believe he persuaded them to stay for much longer with the possibility of going away if they decide to. I am saying this because awo was knee deep into Nigerian politics few years into our independence. |
Wily1Wily:U seem to be repeating urself without any reason. If i may ask why did we decide to stick together in 1960? What is it that made u agree to one Nigeria and what will make u hate me the more we stick together. |
The level of hate shown on NL can be used to measure the level of true success these MOG have achieved. Seun shldn't worry about what those members of Nl feel. What u shld bother urself about is them using ur platform to perpetrate such avoidable evil. |
Pls folks let biafra be. If they decide to split themselves b4 seccesion that's their own business. |
stayreal:Ur question has no relevance here. @op, if the country breaks up then there is nothing to save again. I will suggest we stick together for much longer than we av been together. Whoever wants to break away shld come out boldly and give reasons why they decided to stay in the first place. |
Wily1Wily:i pity u and ur unborn generation very hard |
Wily1Wily:U shld be ashamed of ur ND folks who get killed and all they do shout "warri no dey carry last". OgidiBoy:yorubas eating human ? ? ? I have never heard of that before. |
If our pres keeps eating N1b food and the average guy who is brilliant works extremely hard to keep food in his own mouth then there will be no one to invent anything, there will be no one to keep our textbooks profs on there toes. The gap is so wide in our society the weak find it hard to get going and the strong and established ones are just there to maintain the gap by corrupt any means. How do u explain our profs who fail student to stay relevant while in other countries their profs are measured product who excel. With our pres spending N1b on food how do u want anybody to want to be a poor prof. |
Massob = vigilant comedians. Lol |
Dede1:The highlighted is nothing but excuse from a failed generation who have decided to brainwash the generation they offended. The content of the op's article is very true for all Africans. It is funny how the most 'African' Africans r trying to make their counterparts they've impeded over the years look more 'African'. |
We finally got N97, could have N65 but the usual traitors among us decided to re-enact '66. Next time we gonna make up for their negetive effect by preparing extra hard. |
GEJ administration should step up from their childish 'inter-local government politics' attitude. @Negro_ntns, so Gej has given up on BH or what exactly are you trying to say? Gej shld pls step up and act up to standard, even if u don't like the man (Achebe) that does not mean the govt he represents shld be dragged so low. |
Link pls. |
@mrperfect, the links in ur post and signature r not opening. |
How come no one else was reported injured or dead or even recovery of significant amounts of arms? They claimed he was a business man, how big was his business to be considered an associate of bh? I wonder if somebody is using this oportunity to target the opposition. In previous raids they av given us better details, i wonder why they decided to give us half picture. |
Are the igbos the only pple affected? If no, then why are they leavin en mass? Under our present govt the right thing to do is to call Gej into action (by demonstration or through their reps or) but instead they av supported his inaction thus far. The man feels no pressure. Moving out of kano is just a temporary reaction to the terror at hand, a more lasting solution lies with Gej. To make things worse those who r not ready to tell Gej the truth av labelled those who can tell him as enemies. The man is just sitting there protecting his mandate while playing safe with the lives of Nigerian pple as well as using some of his agents help us read meaning to everything that happens in his favour. I hope we open our eyes and see things more clearly. There r only two main division in ovr country today, and they are the rich(elite) and the poor(masses). The elites have a lil problem with power sharing and are using their poor counterpart to express themselves. |
This definitely is not a BH thing. Ever since GEJ became president every thing in NDDC has been Ijaw this, Ijaw that. Lots of insiders aren't happy with the happenings in NDDC. They shld stop using BH as cover up pls. |
Hello NLders, I want to host a site deployed with Joomla and Wordpress platform seperately but i don't know much about hosts (especially the reliability and pricing aspect). I need ur guidiance on how to go about this. Are there any Nigerian hosts that can easily accept Naira or i have to go international and do it with a Dollar account? Any additional info will highly appreciated. |
icconium:Some ppl say they love it like that since he is ND he will always protect ND, them even say if we no like make we go hug transformer ! ! ! Count down to 2015 may not be realistic because the man is thinking of extending the thing and at this rate an involuntary and spontaneous revo may com b4 that time. We need God seriously in this country. |
If the massob was going to respond like this, why were our ibo folks mock ingother ethnic group as coward when they were being killed? Let no ibo take it personal if this thread is mocked. To make it worse they are still bitter abt subsidy removal protests that started in the sw. Why did our ibo pple not stage their protest when they felt aggrieved? I see alot of inferiority complex in them with the pattern of the actions so far. |
There is no need for folks here to degrade to beaf and Nchara's level. GEJ is the C in C, if Nigerians are underattack then gej shld step up and respond to it. Subsidy was the pple against Gej's govt so we need new representatives and even at that OPC still acted responsibly enuf on the pples behalf. If i may ask oga beaf how did Dora fight for Gej to be installed as acting president for him to say SNG did not achieve 1% what she did? |
ode remo:If u know a thing about oyedepo u will know he started his ministry in Kaduna and survived the onslaught then. |
Lol, some people cant fool everybody all the time. GEJ is messing up and running outa ideas so fast, his paid e-warriors can't catch up. Defence, fuel subsidy, budget, BH, policies, and many more, the man is in the form of his life, firing on all cylinders. |
Pls can anyone help me with a free(3 months atleast) and reliable host for joomla/drupal out there? |
DaLover:contracts that affects the nation like that are usuall published in print media and even debated, how did they handle that part. U sound like one of those around. |
Obj was good to them becos sharia took off in his time, did OBJ approve it on his own? The answer to that question shld be used to jugde OBJ if the story is true in the first place. Some haters av already jumped on the thread to shout who their true enemy is, i pity the destinies of these pple big time. |
If there r no sinister motives, why secretly award contract to a questionable character covered and shielded by a private firm? GEJ knows Nigeria does not owe his people nada . . . If the SS truly av a case let's go the SNC and see whats up. |
I know there r lots of mean and bigoted posters who will support anytin beaf says as long as he appears to be supporting their interest. How does 'buzu' which beaf claims is used to 'describe a group of tall dark pple' translate to one of them bearing the name 'buzu'? Have u seen an Igbo man bearing Igbo? Or an Igala man bearing Igala? Also notice how beaf asks a question abt the person in view being sudanese and subtly changes the whole directiön of the thread by linking it to power struggle btw north and south. Oga beaf, i hail ur expertise oh. Beaf:Help us tell Oga pata pata GEJ to respect the zoning agreement with his northern PDP member. Our lives r not worth his political ambition. No amount of budget on defence will stop the fire of hatred that drives BH, we are only going after smoke here and GEJ knows that. |
Oga koruji, i av gone through your harsh but true post about the effect of subsidy. I tried to warn us b4 the subsidy removal (which has not been fully implemented). A slight increase in wage and cannot cushion the effect of up to 100% in standard of living. Concerning transportation, i will suggest use of witch craft powers in flying from point A to B, especially for those who already av it. |
There is a link i saw on vanguard mobile about how the BH were begged by prominent people in kano two times in the last 5 months not to go ahead with attacking Kano. I cant dig it out now cos i am on mobile. That story shld help us understand a topic like this. I can authoritatively say They most times get some prominent locals to endorse those attacks, i am saying this because i am a testimony of one of such attack in 2008, Bauchi state. They tried to get local permission but the muslims in that community denied them. As for me the Bayero is a top suspect becos he could av been one of those they informed and who pleaded with them. Even though all claims were made by the BH in the vanguard story, i strongly believe them. |
