This man truly has a problem with himself oh, when he was benefitting from PDP arrangees he didn't announce poo, now he has betrayed the North and they after his arse, he has decided to realize that "there r terrorists in power". |
Abagworo:We all know how far Gej is willing to go with money to frame things up. if he is clean himself he wouldn't need all these panicking. Let him do the right thing like u pointed out. I smell '66. |
Nchara:May God help u. |

@Gbawe, nice piece. These are the kind of article we need to align our focus right. They always av a way of keeping us waiting forever. For those who av chosen to support their kinsman blindly. . . .i say Goodluck to you. |

We shld be mindful of duplication of functions in states. Then and don't forget many states will crave for its own copy of anything federal. On the overall it is a good idea. |
How low can people get. There are Yorubas in support of subsidy removal, there are others against it. How does one man's declaration equal sell out in this case. Y'all need to get out of stereotypes.
thank you, may God bless u for this sensible observation. At least a useless and baseless thread can still be turn around. |

Nchara:u dont av to call pple names if u cant put up a good arguement, there is a thread in support of my comment which is titled to some thing like "Why are some states protesting petrol subsidy removal when the oil producing states are not". U guys called those expressing their anger on subsidy removal "parasites" and "illiterates i.e not enlightened enough" don't u think their protest on security issues will send out the signal that they are the worse hit regions in BH crisis ? ? ? If the igbos are pained let them turn to Gej they voted for massively, he is in charge and not the west/north.those in the ss/se shld come out and voice their their feelings out. Afterall one good turn deserves another. |
Thank u bro. They av changed the gross price of fuel but only changed basic salary in thier own favour, that is about 1.8% of the gross pay reduced but increased fuel for the common man by over 100%. |
Like someone rightly said earlier, in politics the are no permanent friends or enemies but permanent interests. It is normal for El rufai to support and oppose buhari at diff point in time. Especially when u consider the true person of Buhari and the fact that they are brothers(both northerners) and contested for presidential seat at diff times. @beaf, ur attempt to make any truly viable option to Gej look dishonest once again has failed woefully. Concerning Oil Subsidy Removal, someone also mentioned above that this govt has gone through $200b in 4 yrs and there is no sign of progress, what do u think $8b will do in the hands of such govt. |
Nchara:Permit me to answer ur question pls. The killings by boko haram is suppose to be mainly an affair of our security agencies and Gej to handle. Like oil resource "marginalisation", the people who r worse hit (according to beaf and SS/SE apologists) by BH are not protesting for it probably cos they are too enlightened for such. Dön't u think the westerners and northerners protesting will amount to an attempt to unsit a presidemt the ss/se are firmly behind? |
Those spinning this issue in favour of Gej know what the are doing . . . . . From buhari is behind it . . . . . To tribalising of subsidy protest and twisting the story . . . . . . To tracing it back to cameroun . . . . . The deception cycle seem to be working on gullible NLs. What u guys r doing is like going after smoke when trying to put out fire engulfing a house. The fire u guys ought to be worried about is the internal injustice metted out to Northerners within the PDP, Jonathan as a southerner has broken a gentleman's agreement within PDP by contesting and winning the presidential election on PDP platform. The PDP had an agreement that shares power btw south and north every eight yrs and obj has used the southerners eight yrs while Gej has refused to give way for the north to complete their eight yrs, for those of us who r not aware take note. |
Dayokanu, don't argue with anyone for now. What we are witnessing is '66 allover again, like '66 the SS/SE clique have taken what belongs to North, and the North are starting another massacre targetted at them mainly, just like '66 they av denied anywrong doing, in all of this the west has featured minimally and the SS/SE are shooting themselves in the foot one more time by tagging protest against petrol subsidy removal in the west as part of the plot to unseat Gej and call of names, an accusation that was previously used to xplain BH, thereby associating the west with BH. It is better to let whoever wants to self destruct alone. |
Onlytruth:A wise man once said, "Nobody is above mistake, but refusal to admit and move on is a greater mistake which will always prove costlier". For those of us here who have intentionally set out to manipulate and change history and av towed the path of self (by extension, generational) deceit, i say carry on, justice has a way of catching up with such people. Thank you. |
Andre Uweh:u forgot sunny nneji, mike okri. D'banj u mentioned rendered the full song in Ibo/pidgin. Virtually every group uses yoruba more often. |
I had the feeling that the yorubas' noisy neighbor will eventually turn this into we-versus-them e-struggle. Lagos, London, and jo'burg are relatively neutral places that can be used to compare leading tribes in Africa. Swahili, hausa, igbo, Ashanti, amongs others to compare. |
If the ss/se are being affected why are they not voicing it out instead they refer to those expressing themselves as inferior. I dont see any point in that kinda move. |
Hello NL, Pls i need ur collective assistance on getting POST UME Past Questions & Answers. I will appreciate if they can come in soft formats like .doc, .pdf, .ppt, .rar or even scanned copies. I plan to use them for building a database of guiding q & a in local tutorial classed. Thanks. |
If i may ask the igbo among us what do u guy think is the reason for boko haram and the sizable attack on the ibos ![]() |
iiiyyyk:we r all saying the same thing, but i hate pple who insult the intel of others, simply give us a link that shows percentage of contribution by each zone or produce/export comodity. |
Jason 123 I would like to know what the solution should be since you said Igbos should keep calm. Realchange, I feel you bro. believe me it hurts but lets be wise. Yoruba and Igbo are brothers, I mean brothers in real sense both genetically and culturally. Its like saying Igbo should fight Ijaw or Efik. I would never fight against a yoruba man if it involves taking his life - count me out. I would want them to remain neutral if that will make them happy but to fight against yoruba and hausa at the same time, bro thats going be a cataclysmic failure of unimaginable propotion especially given our current technological level.
Pls can u help me ask those who blame the westerners, what have they done this time around. . . . . . They always av a way of blaming a westerner, imagine urself going about ur business and some igbo guy comes to attack u physically and starts calling u names like 'Traitor' and all that. In case ur are wondering what am talking about, the above scenario once happened to me all because the attacker thinks i am yoruba. If some pple cant tell them, i am more than ready to tell these igbo guys anyday, anytime, they need to calm down with the beafing and their emotional 'showings'. Some pple say it to look diff, but i know my experience with the ibos in real life. They shld quit the blame game and leave the westerners alone. Was it not in this forum that our fellow igbos mocked the westerners as cowards when westerners were affected majorly by the BH, where did all these theory of special hatred towards the igbos spring from now that they are being targeted? |
kafero:U need to see the way some pple on this forum mocked ur kinsmen when they were the majority in BH casualty list. The same set of pple av tribalised everything to favour themselve. The current happenings, is not the doings of ur kinsmen, so i will humbly suggest u take it easy and let those affected admit their losses b4 u sympathize with them. |
bombay:Mr. man, no one has to speak for u but act, the biggest actor whom u acted for previously, acted on your behalf, but i guess he wasn't sharp enough. Why don't u guys act against him if he is acting slow on ur behalf or better still, speak against him and by extension speak for the Igbo, Northern christians and the Northern minorities. NO ONE HAS BETRAYED ANYBODY YET, BUT SOME PEOPLE SHOT THEMSELVES IN THE LEG AND ARE NOT READY TO ADMIT IT AND MOVE ON. I HOPE SOMEONE IS GETTING THE MESSAGE HERE. |
chino11:Pls back up these claims with references. |
^ and will that be a well thought out NewYear resolution? |
