We shld be mindful of duplication of functions in states. Then and don't forget many states will crave for its own copy of anything federal.

u dont av to call pple names if u cant put up a good arguement, there is a thread in support of my comment which is titled to some thing like "Why are some states protesting petrol subsidy removal when the oil producing states are not".
U guys called those expressing their anger on subsidy removal "parasites" and "illiterates i.e not enlightened enough" don't u think their protest on security issues will send out the signal that they are the worse hit regions in BH crisis ? ? ?
If the igbos are pained let them turn to Gej they voted for massively, he is in charge and not the west/north.those in the ss/se shld come out and voice their their feelings out. Afterall one good turn deserves another.

They av changed the gross price of fuel but only changed basic salary in thier own favour, that is about 1.8% of the gross pay reduced but increased fuel for the common man by over 100%.

Like someone rightly said earlier, in politics the are no permanent friends or enemies but permanent interests. It is normal for El rufai to support and oppose buhari at diff point in time. Especially when u consider the true person of Buhari and the fact that they are brothers(both northerners) and contested for presidential seat at diff times.

Concerning Oil Subsidy Removal, someone also mentioned above that this govt has gone through $200b in 4 yrs and there is no sign of progress, what do u think $8b will do in the hands of such govt.

The killings by boko haram is suppose to be mainly an affair of our security agencies and Gej to handle.
Like oil resource "marginalisation", the people who r worse hit (according to beaf and SS/SE apologists) by BH are not protesting for it probably cos they are too enlightened for such. Dön't u think the westerners and northerners protesting will amount to an attempt to unsit a presidemt the ss/se are firmly behind?

Those spinning this issue in favour of Gej know what the are doing . . . . . From buhari is behind it . . . . . To tribalising of subsidy protest and twisting the story . . . . . . To tracing it back to cameroun . . . . .  The deception cycle seem to be working on gullible NLs. What u guys r doing is like going after smoke when trying to put out fire engulfing a house. The fire u guys ought to be worried about is the internal injustice metted out to Northerners within the PDP, Jonathan as a southerner has broken a gentleman's agreement within PDP by contesting and winning the presidential election on PDP platform. The PDP had an agreement that shares power btw south and north every eight yrs and obj has used the southerners eight yrs while Gej has refused to give way for the north to complete their eight yrs, for those of us who r not aware take note.

What we are witnessing is '66 allover again, like '66 the SS/SE clique have taken what belongs to North, and the North are starting another massacre targetted at them mainly, just like '66 they av denied anywrong doing, in all of this the west has featured minimally and the SS/SE are shooting themselves in the foot one more time by tagging protest against petrol subsidy removal in the west as part of the plot to unseat Gej and call of names, an accusation that was previously used to xplain BH, thereby associating the west with BH.
It is better to let whoever wants to self destruct alone.

Honestly, my brother, I don't think those folks are dragging us into anything. Ndigbo are not the type to be dragged into anything they don't want to do. History teaches us that clearly. Even when we fought in 1967, we practically bundled Ojukwu into the war. He would have failed woefully if he initiated the idea. That is just who we are.
That is why I am always convinced of the justness of our cause in Nigeria. We are never the first to attack or kill innocent people, on the contrary we have been the victims most of the times. If we don't start to defend ourselves in a sustainable way in Nigeria, soon we would become favorite punch bags in Nigeria. Oburu na agwo emeghi ihe ojiri buru agwo, umu aka achiri ya n'aka.

Some of the non Yorubas who add in Yoruba into their songs are the one who reside in Lagos or was raised in Lagos. Musicians east of the Niger do not add any Yoruba to their songs and they sale million copies. Does Sunny Bobo add Yoruba to his music?. How about Ababa Nna, Omega Boy, Saro Wiwa Wis boy, Don Tom, Agbaso, Bracket etc.
In a related development, Yorubas who have added Igbo to their songs have sold millions of copies e.g D-Banj' Igwe song as well as Midnight crew's gospel song Igwe. Check it out.

u forgot sunny nneji, mike okri. D'banj u mentioned rendered the full song in Ibo/pidgin. Virtually every group uses yoruba more often.

I had the feeling that the yorubas' noisy neighbor will eventually turn this into we-versus-them e-struggle.
Lagos, London, and jo'burg are relatively neutral places that can be used to compare leading tribes in Africa.
Swahili, hausa, igbo, Ashanti, amongs others to compare.

If the ss/se are being affected why are they not voicing it out instead they refer to those expressing themselves as inferior. I dont see any point in that kinda move.

Oil Palm in SE was the foremost source of revenue to Nigeria way back before Independence. Groundnut later came to the scene immediately 1960. Cocoa was more of SW thing, it was not more pronounced economically beyond SW.

Pls back up these claims with references.
