The sad thing is that a lot of people won't agree with this.
Lagos just happens to be in the South-west region of Nigeria, but its not the land of the Yoruba; its a border state. If you like call it Eko from now till tomorrow.

Just like Oyo state is different from Oyo town.

Enugu town is different from Enugu state

Lagos State is a Creation of the Nigerian military government.

By the way, there is nothing contentious in saying Lagos State is Yoruba land.

The whole of Nigeria once belonged to Royal Niger company as a private property. It doesn't mean there were no indigenous Hasuas in Kano or indigenous Igbos in Anambra at that time.

It's high time people stopped complaining over this abroad issue. No one put a gun to your head and forced you to relocate.

If you ain't enjoying the UK, then relocate back to Nigeria. Can Nigeria offer you what the UK is offering... 24hrs uninterrupted electricity supply, clean water, quality health care, good roads, etc.

It's not all that rosy when you come abroad, but with time things will adjust.

If I tell you the kind of job I did when I came to the United States, you won't believe it, but now, things don normal.
