Nigeria has wack govt and crazy masses, I know. Life is short. I can only visit other countries on vacation, I still love to see my family, my mom, my siblings, enjoy the cultural food.
I have solar installed, I have power 24/7. I drive my small car fully AC, above all, ladies are so affordable here. U can get a stable side chick for as low as 20k per month and kack as u like. Life is too short to waste it.

Also, I earn online which means I can kinda cope with the naira inflation rate since I dont get paid in naira . I know naija is insecure, so, I mind how I move.
I am one hater of Nigeria o. Don't get me wrong. Even if I would relocate, it would be within a more peaceful african country. I just love being around people who look like me more. I no get energy for all that cordination in white man's land.
Like I said, this is my own opinion. I work hard to keep improving my dollar income online and enjoy the umu asa as much as I can.

While the US is totally different from Canada due to many factors, some still complain about loneliness. It was never a concern for me despite being borderline introvert. When I got to the US, I easily met so many people at my apartment gym, then a bit more at the library.

For my baddest friend who later hooked me up with a lovely Nigerian lady, and many others that were too wild for me, I met him at an IT Tech convention downtown. I later found out there are many families known to my family and friends all over the place and nearby cities.

These countries are advanced and there are many physical events and conferences going on every month. Use your head, be innovative. Upward mobile, well educated, young Nigerians are always there. A smart way is to first find someone of same sex as buddy, get the good looking social type even if you don't drink, they will hook you up.

Loneliness is exaggerated, it's often a choice as you always have options. For many, they just love it and it's no issue.

If you must churn out figures you have to do it right. Not in primary or secondary school, not in higher education, and definitely not in workplaces.

Always verify your data. Dirty data is a recipe for disaster in decision making. Constantly using it to impress indicates shady character.

I saw that too and just ignored. One thing that shocked me in America is the toned down nature of the popular linking of Igbos with businesses. Yorubas businesses are more noticeable. Even the Edo ones are prominent in some places. I see the Igbo ones too but not anywhere close to my expectation.

However, keep in mind that the diaspora intermarry a lot. So, that Yoruba business may include an Igbo wife. Fact is fact.

We already told you guys that most Nigerians (Note: most, not all) who are fully established abroad don't do places like Nairaland and are not loud on social media. Also, Nigerians are very careful with publicity. They know their market.

With that said, while Nigerians are not as prominent as the Asians, there are many of them doing well in America in the following areas:

- Real Estate/Brokerage/Rental Management
- Insurance Agencies
- IT Consulting/Staffing/Training
- Call Center Operations
- Healthcare/Home Health/Staffing
- Doctors Offices
- Auto Shop Franchise
- Restaurants/African Stores
- Beauty Care
- Money Transfer/Financial
- Shipping
- Freight brokerage/Logistics

Nigerians are into all these and they are doing very well in every major cities. However, they are very very cautious.

The system is watching them closely and naive "smart" younger ones are also preying for loopholes to take advantage of them. Regardless, it's their business and ther decisions.

Hmmm I wanted to ask who her candidate is so I can do sympathy vote but I remember vote buying is not limited to cash... it could be emotional.

All the candidates have been in power, I vote based solely on their performance when called upon, nothing else.

If only you know the sheer number of engineering graduates with third class and ordinary pass doing very well especially in information technology. My friend, delete that thought. Your life is not about any certificate issued after a five-year course. Some got first class and got buried within the next five years.

Learn to see every situation as an opportunity no matter how bad or difficult. What they see as a challenge in the USA may be nothing in Nigeria, what you see as a challenge in Nigeria may be nothing in the UK. Think deeply about that.
