unohbethel:Who are the ‘We’? You and your family may not vote …it’s a free country nah! ![]() |
PrinceOfLagos:It is fait accompli….he’s already your President. Open your eyes wide, so you can see more clearly! ![]() |
onuman:Do you have to blaspheme and jeopardise the salvation of your soul in order to make this ludicrous point? ![]() Your case is already bad enough as it is. You should spend your time more in contrite supplications to your Creator rather than adding to your already over-filled spiritual burden! ![]() |
Penguin2:It’s not about what Obasanjo may or may not have achieved in his life….he has never succeeded in clipping Tinubu’s wings. So, it’s about who has always had the guts to stand up to him unbowed. This fact has always irked Obasanjo and the last thing he wants is for Tinubu to demonstrate superior performance if he ascends the Presidency! ![]() |
DrAkpamudehe:Little urchin? You wish I was a little urchin you could intimidate with your talk of protection by your demons and phony temples! ![]() You have Jack in protection and I couldn’t care less how many dark temples you belong to. As long as you and your like are not of the Light, your destination is clear and predictable. Light will triumph over Darkness any day! As for some ‘gods’ not having told you about Tinubu’s bright future, that’s because you’re bowing to evil gods and goddesses who cannot see beyond their noses….because LIKE YOU, they’re nothing but minions of the Darkness. Be of the Light, your gaze will soon clear up! ![]() |
DrAkpamudehe:Curses have a way of returning to the Sender ….particularly when the person they were aimed at is standing under the Lord’s protection. Better be careful what you send out!! ![]() |
ganisucks:Are you his Creator? Why don’t you attend to the beam in your own eyes before pontificating about the speck that you imagine could be in Tinubu’s eyes? ![]() |
Utanisco:This was how Major Nzeogwu and his group were thinking back in 1966 before embarking on their murderous coup in which several northern officers were killed. The SE is still suffering the consequences of their action till today. Keep plotting evil and see where it gets you! ![]() |
Gerrard59:You have stated that ‘Home is where you make MONEY and find HAPPINESS’. That’s fair enough, hwvr, we all get to a stage in life when we realise that there’s more to life that those two ephemeral and temporary pursuits in order for one to have a fulfilled life. Our purpose in life has to be related to what is willed for us humans by the Creator and Giver of Life…..otherwise we would be living like the Biblical Prodigal Son. We all must strive to ascertain the true Purpose of our existence and to live our lives accordingly! |
Gerrard59:Okay….Namibia is still an African country where the indigenes look like us but there’s really no replacement for your place of birth where unseen “Hidden Connections” have situated you as your place of incarnation on this Earth. Life is not about whether you can get rich or not, neither is it about what we describe as “Enjoyment”. It is all about maturing through experiencing…..both pleasurable and otherwise distasteful experiencing count towards our maturing! The spiritual forces, which never make any mistakes, have seen to it that you and I incarnated in a space called Nigeria for our necessary interaction and experiencing with “inwardly similar” human beings who also have similar karmaic threads to expiate. So, truly speaking, running away to any other land is just like postponing one’s fateful responsibility or trying to escape or shirk responsibility for one’s past deeds that must have brought you and I to this fate in the first place! Better to face Life in your place of incarnation and make the best of it while doing your best to improve the things that make you feel like running away! |
ahiboilandgas:Lolzzzzzz! ![]() |
Gerrard59:The chief benefit of living in Nigeria as a black person (whether or not you’re rich) is that you feel that you’re a free human being like the next fellow and you can claim equal rights like any other person. The sky is your limit and you have the confidence to aspire to be anything you want without being treated like a second class or even third class citizen. Pray you never fall sick, be involved in an accident or become a victim of a natural disaster in a white man’s country…..that is the day you will appreciate living in an environment where everyone looks like you…..you might just end up being the last to be evacuated or granted assistance. Living in Africa as a black person is a huge benefit that cannot really be quantified in monetary terms. Your Soul simply feels free to soar aloft in your own land and within the space which is your Creator’s endowment! ![]() |
MikeofAfrica:One can only conclude that you used to buy your own drugs from someone that looked like him in some street corner of Chicago….hence you’re so sure it’s not all in your dreams. Time to give it all up, man…..you’re not getting any younger you know! ![]() |
TMSMedia:Caricatures of Womanhood! ![]() |
MikeofAfrica:All in your dreams, of course. You’re at liberty to dream to your heart’s content….it’s a free country. He will still emerge your President come 2023. Anyone who doesn’t like it can join Bode George in checking out to Afghanistan! ![]() |
Oddfinder12:Are you sure his grandfather was not actually from Okonkwo’s village of Iguedo or Abakaliki? ![]() Bunch of village miscreants looking for where to perch. Schmutz ! ![]() |
donb06:What a load of bunkum! ![]() Even assuming these atrocities were perpetrated by some myopic individuals on the altar of politicking, does that justify the present shameless behaviours towards Elders in our African society? Is that what the referenced Christian doctrine teaches? Thought they said that ‘Two Wrongs Do Not Make A Right’. An eye for an eye can only produce a nation of blind people! ![]() |
God1000:Not legal obligation but definitely a moral obligation! If you make your living in a State other than your natural heritage, it would make sense to support the indigenes of the State that grant such accommodation. If some people do not believe that there are natural Lagosians in Lagos State, then people like Oba Akiolu might decide to show them otherwise. In the end, it will be: To Thy Tents O’ Israel. A word is enough for the wise!! ![]() |
TastyFriedPussy:What arrant plasphemous nonsense! You have found yourself in this Sh!thole because that’s what you earned for yourself through your thoughts, words and actions in your past coming and going. You get precisely what you deserve by virtue of the Law of Sowing and Reaping. Nah your kind dem dey find for California? ![]() Better stop blaming the Almighty Creator lest you find yourself in the desert of Mogadishu next time you come!! ![]() |
North4Obi23:African tradition? ![]() So, the Ipob miscreants parading as “disrespectful and mannerless” Obidients are not Africans? So, these goons do not know that as Africans, we can hold differing perspectives on issues and still coexist in peace and harmony within a space we would all like to call “our country”? |
yerimastyle:Even Atiku himself knows he cannot succeed Buhari but his greedy nature continues to blind him. Nigeria is not created for only northern rule….that should be clear even to the blind. Ipob and Yoruba Nation agitators would be justified in demanding their separate nations if a northerner succeeds Buhari. It would be : To Thy Tents O’ Israel. ![]() |
derecho:As you wish it on others in the spirit of the admonition to “Love Thy Neighbout As Thyself”, so may it be upon you and your household! Pls say Amen!! |
Massiveglory:Rubbish talk! Why can’t we await the outcome of investigations before jumping to conclusions? Are the others Saints? ![]() |
Airforce1:Is that supposed to be something to be proud of? Whatever happened to making a decent woman out of the young lady…. since you so much like sowing your oats in her compound? ![]() |
Is that supposed to be a contradiction in terms? ![]() If, for instance, Warren Buffet started off from a poor family background but that same family subsequently hit it big through the hard work and fortuitous business activities of some members the family including Warren himself, who later inherited some of the assets left by his conscientious forebears, should Warren then deny his background as having emanated from an originally poor background? ![]() It seems Mr Atiku sees nothing wrong in denying his origin and even betraying his less fortunate forebears! ![]() |
This Day and Arise News are linked to Nduka Obaigbena who is fronting for PDP. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands! As professional broadcasters they must show themselves to be non-partisan, but they have failed in this from the get-go. Simplicita! ![]() |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Not true! This Day and Arise News are linked to Nduka Obaigbena who is fronting for PDP. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands! As professional broadcasters they must show themselves to be non-partisan, but they have failed in this from the get-go. Simplicita! ![]() |
AllTheWayUp:Those partisan news media? Tufiakwa! |
dre11:Some people have very short memories. When it comes to Atiku’s wealth, he should speak to his activities in PTDF as well as his role in selling off government-owned assets to his cronies for pittance (called ‘Privatisation’) during Obasanjo regime! He has a lot to answer for in both regards, IMO! ![]() |
Malory:You’re more concerned about optics, just like having preference for a handsome or beautiful partner but you do not pay equal attention to the endemic poverty which more than 80% of the rural populace are condemned to grappling with everyday of their lives. It is not about looking good in the eyes of the educated Westerners, being able to discuss eloquently with them or about speaking a lot of high-sounding grammar in their high institutions. It is about touching the lives of people positively and knowing how to lift your people out of poverty in their millions. Tinubu is a great Promise and is miles ahead of Osinbajo in the latter respects. Some people will forever remain blind to these facts because they’re always interested in the superficial and not capable of deeper reflections on what actually counts in life! ![]() |
toneroforever:Most so-called Obidients do not know the meaning of “Respect for Elders”. They abuse everybody and anybody who refuse to buy the sh!t they’re selling regardless of whether the individuals are old enough to be their grandparents. A very rude and unruly bunch….yet they want to take over government in a culturally endowed and diversified nation like Nigeria. Tufiakwa! ![]() |
