ChizzyBuna: Thanks for making me laugh with those AA inventions. I'm not saying whites are superior race. No!!! But 80% of inventions in America was done by white people. Whether Germans,French or whatever those inventions we're from white people. Glad to have put a smile on your face. So you know it's wrong English to make a statement like: 80% of American inventions were made by Germans. That is wrong: it is no longer an american invention. American inventions are inventions by people within the boundary of america. You do not know much about white people with your feeling comfortable with them: Do not trust them and do not loop them together. Not all whites are white. Not everyone that is devoid of melanin is considered white. It was only recently that scandinavians accepted that Italians were white. |

ChizzyBuna: God bless you. You just answered yourself Lol Frederick was born in USA where he was taught physics which made him invent those things. So they didn't teach Africans physics that's why they couldn't produce those things like trains, satellite abi
Aba people use machines created by Chinese to make goods Did Aba boys invent the generator and sewing machine and computer they are using to produce those goods?
The generator they use to power their shops who invented it? The silk material they use who invented Silk lmao You must be a comedian My dear, The study of math, physics, chemistry, astronomy, metallurgy, medicine, navigation, architecture began in Africa. If Mr Jones learnt physics in school, it is because someone in Africa, taught someone in Europe, who taught someone in The US who taught Jones. At least the origin of this knowledge goes back to Africa. Its insulting that you think so low of Africans. and you are projecting this self-hatred to African Americans. Like I told you the biggest libraries of the ancient world was in Africa. Africa was the center of knowledge and so you know, silk was not invented by an american but discovered by a Chinese woman. I dont get why you want to elevate white americans to god status. They have nothing. They only know how to hype themselves |

ChizzyBuna: So you mean that Africans invented all these powerful tools but can't invent ordinary gun to defend themselves when white people came to destroy them??
Why didn't Africans fight back? Because if they invented so much that means that they should also invent weapons since that period was an era of aars and conquest.
You keep exposing your delusion Have you heard of the slave trade? Do you know why Africans did not fight back? It was a TRADE. Very few slaves were kidnapped. It was a TRADE. Do you know how angry one of the kings in Bonny island was when he heard that slavery was going to be abolished. ( Bro, go and research) Go and read of Madam Tinubu and King Tegbesu, and Nwaubani Ogogo. You will know why slave trade was never stopped by Africans. Who sold Olaudah equiano? Who sold Jaja of Opobo? They were sold by their kinsmen Always remember that slavery was a trade from the locals to foreigners |

ChizzyBuna: Why did Frederick Jones not invent AC generator here in Africa So he waited until he was brought to America before he invented all these things.
this guy your delusion is amazing I'll wait for ur answer Why did all these inventions happen because the slaves where in America ? First off, you need to stop referring to someone you are debating with as delusional. It's wrong practice. I have been on nairaland since 2006 so I am not a young lady and I should be accorded respect. Now back to our debate. The victor in war writes history. Africa had inventions but these were destroyed. Join the facebook The Nigerian Nostalgia. You will see journals shared of white people marvelling at the system of governance and amenities in Africa. Worthy of note is the Benin kingdom. I am not from Benin. So my dear, we had inventions. They just destroyed them Now Frederick Jones did not wait to get to Africa. He was born in the US so he had to invent there. Have you gone to Aba and seen the magic that the young men do there? Does it not tell you that Africans have some extreme intelligence? |

You are showing me mailbox invented by black man. Now answer this Why didn't the black man invent those things here I Africa Why did he invent these things when he was brought to America? Africans invented ships actually. http://www.taneter.org/maritime.html I also attached a screenshot about the oldest evidence of boating in the world. Africans invented so much. They were destroyed. Africa had the two greatest libraries in the ancient world. Till date, white people cannot figure out how africand built the pyramids of Egypt or the Benin Moat in Edo state. So they destroyed the moat. The father of Medicine is not Hippocrates from Greece, but Imhotep from Africa. Frederick Jones, a black boy invented the AC, Generator, refrigeration for trucks.
White americans hardly invent anything. They only know how to dominate google search engine so their names come out on first click

This is what you call ground breaking invention
Bro , u made me laugh so hard So this is the 80% of invention in America You must be delusional
White people are inventing trains, areoplane, electricity, oil refinery, gigantic ships and your are here showing me shampoo headrest, biscuit cutter invented by black people during that time. Hahahaha bro you're funny.
Do me a favor and Google search who invented cars, telecommunication, spaceships, nuclear power Then screen shot it for me Okay perhaps I did not explain well. In America about 80% of the inventions were from the black people. We are not inventions from whites in Europe because we are not talking about inventions in the world but about inventions in the US. And I can tell you that whites in the US hardly invented anything. The first car was invented by Carl Benz a German. The spaceship was invented by a team of Russians You would need to do a lot of research. Bro, I know my stuff: there are very few non-black american inventions. |

ChizzyBuna: Simple We have very corrupt leaders, who do not give a damn about quality of life of it's citizens. That is the curse of Africa The European are blessed with leaders who care about the quality of life of it's citizens. In Nigeria and some African countries No electricity 24/7 No basic human right No clean water No technology For a continet to develop it needs this basic amenities. Because those in charge to make life easy for Africans are very corrupt, greedy and heartless. Corruption is a reason why Africa is stagnant Until we get rid of this corruption nothing will change.
[/b] Those Ancestors did all those sacrifice just for their next generations to be successful, what did the next generation of blacks do They decided to be LAZY That is my point!!! It's like a father who worked day and night to make his children succeed Only for his children to turn out drug addicts, gang members and strippers. Us from Nigeria understand what those ancestors did, that is why we develop ourselves to make them proud. Those ancestors didn't fight all that fight for this generation of blacks to be lazy and useless. If those ancestors come back to 2021 and see how lazy black Americans are, they will shake their heads in sorrow.
We don't go to U.S and look down at THE ANCESTORS for what they did for us blacks. We are only angry that all they fought for will go in vain. When their current generation is busy playing victim and getting lazy instead of developing, working hard and evolving to make their ancestors struggle not go in vain. We appreciate what they did, that is why we put so much effort to make money and not play the victim card. If those ancestors where to time travel to 2021 they will be disappointied at how lazy and irresponsible this generation of black Americans are.
The Ancestors saw far WORSE They were hanged, lynched But that they kept their head up high and still pushed through Despite the terrible horrors they faced which is 10 times worse than what this generation is facing. But did that stop them from pushing ahead No!!! It's not an excuse to be lazy If your Ancestors faced far worse treatment and still didn't play victim card Now that things are a bit way way better still these generation are playing victim card. When they didn't even see half of what their Ancestors saw? There is no excuse to be LAZY!!! Who do you think provided the basic amenities in the US. It was not the white man. 80% of inventions and amenities were black made but slaves cannot own right to inventions. My question is why are we upset that they are playing the victim card when we as Nigerians play the victim card ALL the time. The same way we are shocked about their "laziness" is the same way that they are shocked at our stupidity of not being able to vote out bad leaders. So when you say "African americans stand up and work" let's also remember to tell ourselves "Nigerians stand up and get rid of these corrupt people in power" The problem of Nigeria is not the leaders. The problem of Nigeria is the people with victim mentality who will not rise and change their leaders but prefer to lament daily. So you know, a lot of those boys and girls on crack and weed became addicted in utero (in the womb) by their addicted mother who was supplied enough crack by white people. They are also doing it to the native Indians here so you have newborns addicted already. |

Do you know that there is a monthly quota in the US police of how many african American boys are arrested. There is no quota for white boys.

That victim mentality is as a result of trauma.
Come to Nigeria, people are sitting down and complaining against the government. Go and get voters cards then? No way, they won"t. Victim mentality
Come to Canada. See the native Americans doing the same thing. They have been broken.
Have you seen a broken person before, who does not believe in themselves. Who does not feel they are worth anything. These people suffered rape (even the men were raped, children were raped), hanging, slavery, for 400 years. It wont be easy for them to recover.
It is not time for us to point accusing fingers at them until we turn Nigeria into Utopia. There is something inherently wrong with a black man.
OP those people are beaten down, traumatized. First off, it was not the capitalist way that made the US a land of opportunity. It was on the blood of their fathers that America became a land of opportunity.
If Africans and Nigerians are so resourceful and hardworking why cant we turn our own country and continent into a land of opportunity.
If not for them and their sacrifices, Africans will still be made to do the video editing work you did and the whites will not pay.
We go and take advantage of what they built and look down on them. Do you know that African American boys are targeted to be convicted and sent to prison WHETHER THEY COMMIT A CRIME OR NOT just so that they lose the right to vote.
Nigerians go there and turn their noses up at them yet cannot go back home and make Nigeria great. |

barnny: We all know getting a job in this country is another hell graduates is going through till date, talk more of getting a dream job.
I will try to be brief as much as I can.
Haven applied for so many jobs and attended some interviews, I finally saw one graduate trainee job (my kind of dream job tho) as at January this year. Although is a banking job which is actually my dream job. I wrote their aptitude test which I passed. We were eight that was invited for their interview out of over 70 candidates that applied and I was lucky to be part of those eight. To the glory of God I scape through at the first stage of the interview. At the Final stage of the interview (One on one interview) was where my righteousness or should I call it "Being Truthful" deprive me of my dream job. You may ask how did I know, but the truth is, that is what deprived me of getting the job. I don't want to explain further on that just to cut the story short.
The question they ask me that lead to my disqualification was: "Do you know anyone in this bank?" And my reply was "Yes". And truly I know someone working there but he wasn't even the one that ask me to apply. I only came across the job and I applied. But I never knew I'm suppose to say NO, I also never knew the answer will snatched the job away from me.
After all the sacrifices, sleepless nights on night journey from one town to another, After almost getting an accident on these our bad road, not to talk of the time and resources I have invested in getting this job. look at my life? See where my righteousness has brought me into?
Just yesterday some of my colleagues got invitation for their medicals. And since that yesterday I have been so deeply down. I feel depressed. I feel like just giving up. Why me? What is really wrong somewhere that I don't know?Just imaging the kind of opportunity I have missed even when I know age is no longer on my side when it comes to this kind of job...
Honestly I'm tired. I feel like not going to church today. I am confused and feel like it's over. Sorry to hear this, but it is not that question that made you lose that job. There were 8 finalists but there is always a preferred candidate. In 2007 I interviewed for LNG (my dream job). We were 2000 candidates and finally reduced to 4 but I was not the preferred candidate. In same 2007 I had a bank interview. From 400 we were 15 left. I failed my interview ( I know because the interviewers told me I was too opinionated and too argumentative) I was basically asked to leave the interview room. But what is yours is yours. I got the job. If I had been in LNG, I would still be in LNG, but my stay in the bank (it was difficult and toxic) hardened me, built me and pushed me to where I am now (and I love my life at this moment) This job was not for you |

...
AND IF THAT IS THE CASE YOUR XTIAN GIRL SHOULD WEAR THE HIJAB ALSO. its in your book....
...
I honestly believe that many Christians criticize Islam, without reading about Islam from reputable Islamic sources. Furthermore, I believe that Christians do not read their Bible. Take, for example, the head scarf, may Christians think that women in Islam are oppressed because men forced them to wear head scarf. How about the hundred of thousands of Muslim women in the West who put Hijab on? Can men force them to do that in the west?? This is just a big lie against Islam.
Have you ever seen Virgin Mary in a movie without headscarf? She used headscarf in normal life.
Hijab is a part of dressing. Sikh wear Turbine. Western women [not Christian Ladies] wear BIKINI. Even then media is not allowed to show First Ladies in their Bikinis !!.
Now let's see what the Bible say about covering womens' head:
Genesis 24 64-66. (New International Version (NIV)
64 Rebekah also looked up and saw Isaac. She got down from her camel
65 and asked the servant, “Who is that man in the field coming to meet us?”
“He is my master,” the servant answered. So she took her veil and covered herself.
66 Then the servant told Isaac all he had done.
67 Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
1 Corinthians 11. (King James Version)
5-6 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven . 6 For if the woman be not covered , let her also be shorn : but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven , let her be covered .
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
13 Judge in yourselves : is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? Hello, these are students not prayer warriors. You pray with your head covered. Nobody sends their child to school to learn how to pray but to study. When you are not praying, you have no need to cover your hair |

Childofthelord: Hi everyone,
My name is Grace, 21yrs, I am in my 3rd year student, pursing a BN degree in Nursing administration (UBC) in Canada. However, since I left Nigeria in 2018, my life never remained the same. Let me start by saying a little about myself. I come from a Christian home in Nigeria, my parents both attend deeper life. They are hardcore disciplinarians and prayer warriors. My mum especially, each time i came back from school, my mum searched my bag. I was not allowed to have any social networking apps, not even WhatsApp, my mum always checked my phone. All my parents ever care about is my education and getting good grades. If i am not talking about books, i am not making sense( i was not allowed to attend prom). I had no outfits, just normal clothes and school uniform. I am never allowed to visit friends, go out or have friends over. I spent a large chunk of my time in my bedroom. I do not know how to socialize or communicate with people. My social life was in bad shape and i never realized it. I realized that my upbringing and the way i lived my life has really affected me now. I have trouble making friends and even sometimes when people approach me, they go mute after some days, it appears like i cannot keep friends. There are 60 students in my department and i could not make friends with one person, i do not have anyone to check with after an exam or test, nobody checks on me either. I always conatact the professors directly if i have any issues. To be frank, I did spend 2 years in Unilag before coming to Canada and I had quite a number of friends, many guys were toasting me. I even lost count as some point. But ever since i stepped into this Canada, no guy, i repeat no guy has ever asked me out. white oh, black oh, hispanic oh, nothing. Though i have a number of acquittances but no one to share a drink with or talk about how the day went. This was different from when i was in Nigeria. Right now I am really trying to make friends but each time i try, the energy is always coming from my end and sometimes they ignore me. I have no best friend, no boyfriend, no padi padi. I believe i have a bright future ahead of me but sometimes i just feel lost with how lonely i get. Sometimes i feel like there a spirit of loneliness following me, i have no roommates too. This has not stopped me from doing what i have to do and studying well, but i find it a little disturbing. Is this normal? for students studying abroad? Maybe I am just different, I dunno. I am willing to answer any questions? Hello dear, I'm so sorry to hear that you are facing this here. First off, you need to find a Nigerian whatsapp group in your area. I know each province has a group. Now you are not making friends, most likely, you have an unfriendly aura, so people can sense the negative energy even when you try. Fortunately its easy to take care of it.
