The key word is "ACT"
The verb "act" is different from the verb "being"

That you can "act like" and "behave like" does not mean that you "are like"

I can act like a young man or behave like a young man, but acting like and behaving like a young man can never change my age and revert me back to my twenties or thirties. It will always be an "act". It will never "be".

Kanu understands that and he never claimed to be "like God". He said he can "play-act=behave like". Not that he is like. No matter how he talks, Nnamdi will NEVER claim to be like God

While I am not in support of Kanu some of the time (e'g trying to force other unwilling tribes into Biafra), the OP just cut out a part to raise dust. Even his title is wrong. Kanu never said I am like God, he said

"I can decide to play" meaning that he understands that he is not up to God.

A real doctor cannot play doctor because you are already a doctor, so it is only a man that knows he is mortal that will talk about "playing God"

When I worked in a bank, those of us that had one maid or no maid will be looking so tired with bags under our eyes, too tired to make up because we were awake all night.
But some of us would have three helps who would rotate the night vigil, so that they could sleep, go for occasions, make their hair.

When I was in my twenties, I used go to the salon to and stay 4-5 hours making my my hair. But when my baby came I couldn't go and sit down making hair so I cut my hair.
If someone did not know me they would have tagged me as helpless and hopeless but my salary at work did not reduce.
