90% of your economy is owned and run by them. That's as slavish as it gets. Textbook definition.

I just can't believe a dark&ugly kwerekwere from the worst jungle in the world is trying to sound human at my expense. Why should I waste my time with this?

Kwerekwere ? No please, that's what the Boers call you and your fathers in your own native land.

Ironic when a Zulu calls a pure breed African dark and ugly when we always needed blindfold and nasal masks to sleep with your mother and sister.

The pinnacle of Zulu civilization was the point when Obasanjo talked Botha into allowing you people to become part of civilisation by climbing down from your aerial habitation consisting of bamboos attached to treetops.

When a Zulu like Jayceon calls a better country a jungle he's just exhibiting post apartheid reflex syndrome.

I should be able to call Nigerian soldiers idiots anywhere if they are professionals!

The only cowards i see are some bunch of dirty-looking, unprofessional, barely-educated urchins hiding behind a uniform and a gun to act brave when confronted by unarmed civilians,

While a ragtag group of civilian terrorists called Boko Haram, hastily trained in less than 6 months have been spraying them with AK 47 like it was cologne or body fragrance.

You yellow-bellied dogs even had to bolt to Cameroon chased like frightened school girls by the pursuing Boko haram and you claimed it was a tactical manoeuvre!

So the Cameroonian soldiers took your guns and artillery and escorted you out.

I think any soldier who posses on social media trying to be a hero on Boko Haram is just a putrid sac of human pus in army uniform!

This is one of the reasons why we need to encourage our military men. A gallant soldier battling the Boko Haram insurgents in the northeast - has revealed how he sleeps in the bush. According to Idowu Adewale, he prefers to sleep in a trench than to sleep on a mattress because there is 'no big boy in the bush'.

The brave army personnel shared pictures of himself ''chilling'' in his space while staying alert in order to be alive.

Below is what he shared on Facebook;

I prefer to sleep inside the trench than to sleep on a big Mouka form bcuz Jungle don't no Big man, Be alert stay alive, no Big boy for Bush.

You have time to pose and call up a colleague to take a pic for social media hype

Real soldiers never have the time or desire for social media glory and attention. They win battles and protect thier citizens, not brutalise them.

You have been fighting boko haram for over 12 years undefeated and they had lived in sambisa forest all the while.

Be professional and stop looking for social media rave.

angry what kind of man forces his entire family to support his club?

if barca had lost he would have brutalized his family

on a serious note nigerians should learn to marry early. looking at how his kids are all below 18 this oldman may not live to see his grand children.

How did you know he forced them to support his club? If he's a caring father, his family will naturally support what he has passion for!

And what is that ignorant submission you're making about his age and kids, and not seeing his grandchildren? Are you God?

Some marry early and still don't have children. Matter of facts, there's a thread currently trending in from page about a couple who gave birth after 22 years. I personally know of a professor who gave birth after 25 years!

Some still marry and have children yet they die early.

Greene66:

1. At no point in time did I declare my nationality to be an Indian. Please provide evidence that I did.

2. I am solely responsible for my posts and who I "butt-shine" has nothing to do with my views or my position in my country. I can even buttshine a Chinese online tomorrow if I deem it fit because I am not racist. It's my freedom and my choice. It has nothing to do with anything. Besides accusing someone for scam is one thing. But I'm not going into that. I have even done a few businesses on nairaland to keep myself moving. At least I never mentioned I was Indian in any of my threads. So if you are looking to start something, create a new thread or campaign. Don't derail this one.

3. I am not claiming anything. I have said what I said, quote me anywhere. I don't deny my statements. That's the difference between me and a lot of people. My account has been since 2015. I could have easily created a new account to claim soldier can't I?

4. I never blamed the police for poor funding. Did I? I said they aren't doing their jobs. I said the government needs to reform these institution(S) that includes military, police, customs and so on. If you didn't read well, read again. I have maintained a civil argument on this thread, if you want to digress, that's your choice. I'm not going to indulge you. If you have a beef with soldiers, sorry. If you have issue with SARS.. sorry, if Navy remove your tanker, sorry. Don't blame me. Don't blame the force. Speak out to your government or get a PVC by 2019. It's that simple.

No one asked you for an essay relating to your life in Nairaland. Your long narrative is your desperation of needing to explain your compromising possition.

You and Strahovski1 carried on and everyone believed you to be Indians. You guys even had Indian DP on your profiles. You never did anything to dispel the notion you aren't Indian except today.

Back to the matter at hand, I find it refreshing you eventually blame the government for army invasion on the pretext of helping the police.

You finally located your brains.

Walk on.
Politics / Re: Lagos Bridges: Navy Begins Enforcement Of Quit Order On Tanker Drivers by Shroud: 3:01pm On Mar 13, 2018
Greene66:

1. The Federal Government is responsible for the military in terms of funding and equip. You can't blame the military for Boko Haram. Soldiers weild outdated AK47 rifles, outdated World War 2 T72 tanks. How many tanks by the way? For once look at the other side. How many soldiers wear bullet proof vests? This is the government not the soldiers. Ideally, soldiers should be on reserve during peace time and given civil jobs. But no. They are kept on active duty. Posted to NEPA Office to work as gate men. Working as escorts for diplomats and used to push tanker drivers. Whose fault is this?

2. You cannot tell me what to witness first hand because I AM a member of the Armed Forces. Army precisely. Not that I condone the unprofessional conducts of some elements in the Armed Forces, I am saying that the state of the country is deteriorating in all areas. Military funds are siphoned regularly. Soldiers are unkempt. Soldiers at the war front eat roughly once or twice a day. Would you sit at your house or office and blame them?

3. You talk about MOPOL. Please, the government instructed the IGP to visit benue, he went to Nasarawa instead. the police IGP could do that. Policeman insulted a sitting Governor on TV. My point is, the police aren't working. I have had this argument with my friend who is an ASP. The policemen are not doing their jobs. People don't regard the police. They may not respect the military either. But they definitely fear them.

4. Military court-martial soldiers regularly. You just don't know. Many soldiers are demoted on a regular for Human Rights abuses. Does that mean you blame the whole military for an act a few soldiers performed? You carefully ignored SARS, Customs and others who do worse. Visit the borders and see Customs assault drivers. Visit the cities and see SARS assault young men. You only focused on the military.

I am a Nigerian. I once told my commander off post that I am a Nigerian. I may be a soldier loyal to the president and held by an agreement I signed but it doesn't mean I am not a Nigerian.

I know what the civilians feel because I have families who are civilians. I didn't fall from heaven. I have a family who have their stories at the hands of both military and police. So do we leave the police part and blame only the military? No. What do we do?

We implore the government to reform these institutions. The power is in the hands of the government. Not a few soldiers or Navy guys at Apapa. So for a moment stop talking like the military can wake up and choose what and what not to do. They follow orders. Unlike a police who ignores court orders and president orders to go to benue.

You civilians think you know but you know nothing.

If the federal government is responsible for funding and equipping the military who is then responsible for the Nigeria police? See how redundant your submissions are.

I hope you're not claiming to be a military person.

I know you from the days when you were a butt-shinner for Strahovski1 an Indian troll and scammer on this thread.

Now you're no longer an Indian but also a soldier. I envy the swift transformation.

No one should take you seriously. You're never clever at what you pretend to be.
Politics / Re: Lagos Bridges: Navy Begins Enforcement Of Quit Order On Tanker Drivers by Shroud: 2:02pm On Mar 13, 2018
Greene66:

Do not blame the military for that. Blame the police. If the police are professional, Nigerians would take them serious and the military wouldn't have to be involved.
And Nigeria's military is professional? LMAO!!!

No self-respecting military will allow itself to be used as a police. The respect for the army has been dumped in the toilet in the eyes of the public after Boko haram has reduced them to mutineers and absconders. The military in Nigeria is only gallant in tackling unarmed civilians.
Greene66:

Do you think Soldiers enjoy standing at road checkpoints like police and road safety? You think they enjoy it?
Nigerian soldiers do. You will have to witness firsthand how they lobby to be posted outside thier barracks. Some of them even let out cries of jubilation when they are drafted out. Fuel diversion, intimidation, border smuggling, extortion. These are some of the little pecks they can't ignore when posted.

Greene66:

The rule against the tanker drivers have been on for years but the tanker drivers IGNORED the police. Is it until lives are lost or accidents begin to happen that the military steps in? If the police cannot do their jobs, don't blame the Armed Forces for stepping in.

Tanker drivers ignored the police? So what's the army going to do differently? In all my years as a Nigerian, I have never seen where MOPOL or antiriot police unit are ignored. I think you should be ashamed to be part of a country where soldiers and other military are drafted to the streets for mere domestic shuffle.

Greene66:

Besides the military doesnt go up against cultist or Armed robbers. And even if they do, you should be grateful. Fix your police. It isn't the soldiers fault that the police don't know their jobs.

Operation python dance in the South West was for supposed criminals and cultists elements..

I should be grateful for the military who are experts at abusing and killing innocent civilians without trace? 3rd world victim syndrome is what you have.

And I should fix my police? Surely I don't sound like the government to you. And I honestly don't think you read any other stuff besides Nairaland threads.

The navy is the military. It isn't just any uniform organisation. Military isn't army alone. And not all are Boko Haram. You realize these Naval members are posted abroad on peace keeping? Posted to dangerous places too?

you see? The young man in question saw all the other cars both European and American, but he bought the Camry because he had absolute trust in the capabilities of the car; and his sister loved it. That's all that matters brother. His sister will not be driving at 160km/hr at any point of her life, and if so she can buy a Toyota Supra or Lexus LFA.

Is there any reason to point out this guy isn't Nigerian and doesn't live in Nigeria? Is it that he bought the car because it is too cheap (he could have gotten a Ford or Buick sedans to show patriotism) or he just didn't have money?

What's his business with mockery from people who wouldn't mind their own businesses?
Lamar's response was she was still too young to drive an expensive car.

My point is that it's a stark contrast to how Toyota is perceived in Nigeria.

Have two friends whom we all graduated together. One drives a Toyota venza 2016 V6 and the other drives a Jaguar xf V8 5.0 litre engine.

The dude with the venza in all honesty looks down and boasts his venza is costlier then the Jag and even boast in a beer parlour.

Where. I told him the Jag costs 84 thousand dollars and the venza only costs 38 thousand dollars , we nearly fought. That's how Nigeria overhype and overrate Toyota models as king of cars.

The Jag will buy the company venza twice over and have change for 2016 American used Toyota Corolla.

Needing and hoping, then expecting friends to memorize your birthday and feeling bad when they don't indicates your happiness and wellbeing is overly dependent on the actions of others.

Birthdays are silly excuses for celebration.
