Sincere 9gerian: "General Manager of the Lagos Resident RegistrationAgency (LASRRA), Mrs Yinka Fashola, has decried the growing rate of unemployment across the country.."
Was Fashola elected to lament and decry high unemployment rate? How many jobs does the Lagos state govt create per year with its N30billion monthly revenue?
Those who are quick to point accusing fingers at the FG conveniently forget that the national purse is shared 50-50 between the FG on one hand and the state-local govt joint account. We need answers as to how each party is deploying its SHARE of the national cake to job creation. So so predictable |

Politics › Re: Plans To Impeach Amaechi: How Far With The Prophesy Of Sahara Reporter Of Lies? by Sibrah: 10:21am On Jun 01, 2013 |
Sincere 9gerian: On Tuesday 28th Of May, Sahara Reporter of Lies released a report which contained the following concoction of LIES, among other falsehood:
"A source within the Presidency told SaharaReporters that President Jonathan’s men have given the go-ahead to the Rivers State Commissioner of Police Mbu Joseph Mbu,, Minister of State for Education, Nyeson Wike, and former member of the House of Representatives, Austin Okpara, to recruit five willing members of the state assembly to declare Mr. Amaechi impeached before this week runs out" http://saharareporters.com/news-page/president-jonathan-plans-impeach-governor-amaechi-five-lawmakers/
In that same report, Sahara Reporters told the whole world that its source, though anonymous, was "authoritative".
When some of us read the report, we dismissed it as LIES from the abyss. But some mischief makers used the fallacious report as another opportunity to rain curses and abuses on GEJ.
Those who used the report to abuse and rain curses and on GEJ have moved on but some of us have not. Fortunately, I bookmarked the report waiting for its fulfilment. SR stated clearly that the purported impeachment by 5 lawmakers will take place "before the week runs out". Today is Saturday, the week has ended, so how far with SR prophecy of LIES? Has there been a shift in date? We need answers from Sahara Reporter of LIES. It is not enough to drop these LIES and simply move on. Plans don't get implemented all the timd, so stop deluding yourself. |

Sincere 9gerian: "The one in Lagos Island is powering 2 hospitals, government buildings and 21 streets"- Eko ile
Here you go again with your silly lies. Can you show us anywhere in the report where it was mentioned that the 10MW power plant in Lagos Island is powering "21 streets"?
Cant you do your work without telling naked LIES?
POINT OF CORRECTION: The 10MW lagos Island power plant is powering only the following structures, as enumerated by your paymaster himself (Fashola):
"He (Fashola) enumerated the structures and areas to benefit from the Island Power Project to include the Lagos High Court, J.I.C Taylor Magistrate Courts, the Island Maternity Hospital, the Lagos House, Marina and street lights in at least 20 streets on the island" http://www.lagosstate.gov.ng/news2.php?k=1134
While it is commendable that the state govt is SAVING COST by building mini power plants to serve state owned structures, the fact is that people are not yet benefiting DIRECTLY from this exercise. Yes some hospitals and streets lights are powered by this power plant but peoples homes and offices are yet to benefit.
So the whole exercise for now, put in proper perspective, is a commendable COST SAVING measure. It will also help free some load from the national grid.
By the way, I hope the ACN e-warriors will also jubilate if the FG announces it built small power plants for Aso Rock or other state establishments.
Just to add that some other states have also done mini power plants. Ebonyi state is one perfect example but I think theirs also serve some residents "to include" ... Can still be interpreted to mean "but not restricted to the mentioned location" in this context. |
