Its quite amazing to read these posts above but anyway sha, there are many works to be done, many souls to be won and lives to be built for the kingdom of God. Those that are bringing out various facts and figures , please can u tell us NAIRALANDERS ur plans for the Kingdom of GOD(IF U ARE A CHRISTIAN) in 2011 and HUMANITY IN GENERAL. LETS RATHER THINK OF OUR LIVES CAN BE AFFECTED. I EXPECT THAT SOME WOULD DEFINITELY SAY THINGS AFTER THIS BUT IT DOES NOT REALLY MATTER TO ME. IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER. LOVE U ALL

Is it a matter that they come? if anyone does not come, how will they be affected? abeg many things we do today is not biblical if we want to go according to the BIBLE as u want to. This matter no be matter at all, just that some want to throw smoke when nothing dey happen. I Know definitely many people that are Christians and are wonderful people. I remember my secondary school days in Jss3 when we were given a compulsory break 2nd term to go and resume early for extension towards preparations of 'JUNIOR WAEC' before school vacated to cut cost. As @ that time my Dad had not sent my T.P so i got money from my GUARDIAN enroute to LAGOS from J-TOWN. I NEVER left cos my money was not enough so i was stranded at the park.
A guy that my guardian asked to take care of me till i leave took me to his parent's house and i TRUSTED him with my T.P due to his acts of kindness . D boy left me and never returned again BUT his father went all the way to GET me into another bus d next day on trust that i will pay when i get to LAGOS. HE ONLY HAD N50 WITH HIM and he gladly gave me. I CRIED at intervals on the ATTACHMENT I SAT to LAGOS. In the bus a lady saw me and took care of me until i got home, she was staying in FESTAC then and i never saw her again to tell her THANK U after that day but I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT MAN AND THAT GIRL WHO WAS A STUDENT THEN IN UNIJOS THAT HELPED ME . WE STILL HAVE GREAT PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY.

This year 2010 has been a wonderful year for me with every passing day alongside its package of events. I LEARNT a lot of myself as well as others.God showed himself strong on my behalf also my family. I learnt to always count the cost before embarking on any venture, depend more on the door God opens, never show off when u feel u have arrived cos somebody better pass.D YEAR SIMLPY PUT HAS BEEN GLORIOUS.

BEING A SOLDIER IS NO SIN MY FRIEND. A SOLDIER IS AN INDIVIDUAL(MALE OR FEMALE) THAT IS ENLISTED INTO THE MILITARY WITH HIS/HER CONSENT AS WELL AS THAT OF HIS/HER PARENTS THAT PROMISE TO DEFEND THE TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY OF THE COUNTRY ENSURING PEACE AND STABILITY IN THAT COUNTRY. THERE IS NO CRIME IN IT BEING ONE THAT HAS BEEN CALLED TO DEFEND THE UNITY OF A COUNTRY WHICH YOU ACCEPTED ON THE DAY OF YOUR 'ATTESTATION- SWEARING - IN DAY'.
ALL THATS IN IT IS, AS LONG AS YOU ARE THERE, DO YOUR WORK WELL REPRESENTING YOUR COUNTRY AS WELL AS THE KINGDOM OF GOD. I KNOW CHRISTIANS THAT ARE SOLDIERS WHO ARE DOING WELL IN THE SERVICE(MILITARY) AS WELL AS THE KINGDOM(ENLISTED IN THE ARMY OF GOD).
FOR ME, ITS NOT A SIN.

GIVING TO THE WORK OF GOD ENSURES THAT THE WORLD IS CONNECTED WITH THE GOSPEL(GOOD NEWS OF GOD) REACHING OUT TO PEOPLE EVEN BEYOND YOUR IMMEDIATE SPHERE OF CONTACT WHICH FURTHERMORE STRENGTHENS THEM.THE GOSPEL IS FREE BUT NOT CHEAP HENCE THE NEED TO SPONSOR OR GIVE TOWARDS THE WORK OF GOD.
I REMEMBER BACK IN SCHOOL(SECONDARY SCHOOL) THAT SOME PEOPLE BROUGHT CARTONS OF SMALL BIBLES WHICH WE KNOW AS 'GIDEONS NOT TO BE SOLD BIBLE'. WE GOT THEM AND USED THEM THEN BUT LATER DISCOVERED THAT PEOPLE GAVE TOWARDS THE PRINTING AND DISTRIBUTION OF THESE BIBLES FREE OF CHARGE TO ENSURE THAT WE GOT THE WORD OF GOD DESPITE ALL ODDS COMMENDING US TO THE WORD (ACTS 20 : 32). AS FOR ME, I WILL NOT STOP GIVING TO THE WORK OF GOD SO THAT MORE PEOPLE WILL BE TRANSLATED INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD,

Many in recent times have misunderstood the subject of GIVING. There are different kind of GIVINGS that anyone can do. They all have there significance in the circumstances which its been applied.
1)GIVING TO THE POOR: The BIBLE said that the POOR you will always have around you(MATTHEW 26:11)  hence sure you will have to give when you can which is nice to do.ITS GOOD to help someone else stand but we all know that its better to teach a man how to fish rather than KEEP GIVING him FISH. Its not wrong to give to the poor but help teach him/her to be liberated. They need to understand that they can do more.
COME TO THINK OF IT: Many say they are poor and receive grants from well meaning citizens but if a man cannot overcome the poverty mentality that is in him overtime he will lose all given to him. RESOURCE PERSONS have said it will be better if we taught these people how to manage finance ten Give to them.

Father, i am grateful for the life of Christ that i have inside of me, Everyday your lovely acts that u reflect in my life is SIMPLY AWESOME. I AM HUMBLED AT THEM.

It is very risky to get that intimate with a friend of the opposite sex whether born again or not(the friend of course). All of God's children are called of God definitely for a purpose.The purpose definitely gives us a focus to work with in the building of the body of Christ as all are called but they function in different offices or role.The calling of God is for roles that are needed to be carried out in the house of God. JOHN 15:16a (Ye have not chosen me,but i have chosen you , and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit)This reflects the point of God's choice.
Despite the fact that we are called of God, we cannot all do all things at once hence the need for orderliness in the house of God. Come to think of it, the scripture says that there are various vessels in the house, some of gold and others of silver & wood . Of course the kettle has its place in the house as it is only better when left on the fire due to its purpose(calling- what it was assigned to do), it cannot be put on the center table as decor. to beautify a house or take the place of an aquarium.IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO THE PLACE OF YOUR CALLING(SPECIFICS). GOD DID NOT DO WRONG WHEN HE CALLED US TO FUNCTION IN VARIOUS OFFICES DUE TO ORDERLINESS.
SAUL tried to help the Prophet Samuel to offer burnt offerings after coming from a battle in Gilgal(REFERENCE 1 SAM 13:1 - 14) due to impatience and irreverence which cost him the throne after his demise. He though was anointed of God but not for the office of the Prophet. Without mincing words A MAN OF GOD is called to function in the office to help build the children of God.

Evangelism is a word that many people use more often today in our present day. Its been in usage for quite a while in the Christian faith as it implies the 'winning of souls' or the reaching out to new converts who before hand has not been in the 'Fold.
Evangelism can be said to be the bane of our existence as CHRISTIANS here on earth.It helps to further the range and spread of the Gospel(GOOD NEWS) around the world. Drawn from the instruction of the Lord to his disciples in the message we call the 'GREAT COMMISSION' (, Go ye into all the World and preach the gospel to every creature.He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.JOHN 16:15&16). He also reiterated the need again in Acts 1:8( But ye shall receive Power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem , and in ALL Judaea , and in Samaria , and unto the UTTERMOST PART of the EARTH.
It goes to show the reality that the world needs to hear the good news of the Gospel of JESUS which is able to save all who hear , accept and believe it.
Once I met a bike man(OKADA MAN) who carried me from home to the market. I had thought for a while how i was to start a conversation with him about God and i hesistated at first on how to start but the Spirit told me to start with a greeting which i did. We later on were involved in a discussion of his business, family and home as well as his love for God. He was a policeman and said he loved God but he was not born again. He said to be born again meant that there will be no more thrill for him and he was much in SIN not to accept God wondering if God will like him. I told him that he was the reason that CHRIST came to die.I shared from Rom 10:9-10 and he was glad. I led him to Christ before i paid and he was glad. I felt so glad that i led him to CHRIST. I still call him and he has been doing well.

It is wonderful to know that God loves me so much even after all that i have done. His love stands out as top and i am his NO. 1 FAN.

As a nation , we should have graduated above issues such as this happening in our politics and environment. What happened would have been curtailed or better still prevented by the organisers of the rally knowing that when the President came also to the state, the Governor was embarassed by youths who threw all manner of things at him during his speech to the amazement of onlookers both on ground and those in the comfort of their homes.
Definitely, Buhari's party is opposition but it still does not give rise to the unrest, I say that the move by those youth to disrupt that campaign is NOT GOOD in HONOR to our growing DEMOCRACY. What others tend to see and celebrate are the negative things that occur around our people in order to have a story to 'TELL'. We should not give them that chance. If what the State Govt' thru their spokesman that BUHARI'S arrival into the state was not communicated is true, then the organiser did not act well. Also they would have applied for security details to cover the area where the rally was to take place.
THE SHORT of it is that I CONDEMN the act of the youths that are responsible for it, also our demoracy can be better than what it is now if we all do our part to work on details properly(POLITICAL RALLIES OR NOT).
THIS IS MY JUDGEMENT.

Rather open up your heart to the truth, HE IS ABLE. I have seen miracles, i have prayed for people and they have been healed.JUST OPEN YOUR MIND.
