Health / Re: Please Help: My Wife Has Asthma by sinie: 6:06pm On Jul 04, 2020
Please oo!!! Make sure your wife is not using Ventolin ALONE. Using salbutamol alone has been linked to increased rate of asthma related DEATH!!!

If you should use salbutamol at all make sure you use it in combination with a low dose inhaled corticosteroid. I'm not sure the brands available where you are but Symbicot is very good for both releiving acute attack and preventing attacks.

Please talk to ur doctor or pharmacist!!!!

Megaflex:

WHY? WHY WILL YOU PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS

I dont understand at all, why will you stay with a man that clearly detests you and worse still remain in a marriage that is already over.

is it love? Pls help me understand....

Cutebabiesmum:
Hi everyone, I need an advise from you please. my marriage is 7 years old with a son. I and my husband doesn't love ourselves anymore, infact I will say I married the wrong man. He cheat without any sign of remorse and each time I catch him cheating he will be very annoy and will tell me I will beg him, of course I normally go down on my knee to beg him. I told our pastor(I hate calling him pastor) about his behaviour and he told me men are always right and it is a man's world so I should be the one doing the begging. ok that's fine and good but that doesn't make him to love me or see me as anything. Each time I ask myself what is it that am not doing right, and several times I have asked him while kneeling down to tell me what am not doing right but he will always say nothing. I have my business that is fetching me money so I don't ask him money and he doesn't give me too. something happened last year, his girlfriend confronted me telling me I won't have a second child. when he came back, I told him what his girlfriend told me and I expected him to at least tell me he's sorry. But he asked me why did I abuse the girl first which I didn't do. I told my parent because the girl also threatened to kill me and my mum called him and told him to divorce me if he know he's tired of the marriage. He got angry and abuse all my family, I didn't answer him. Now my junior brother is sick( my parent has spent a lot) and I suggested they bring him to lagos so that I will take them to LASUTH or LUTH. The question is how do I tell a man that doesn't love me or my family that my junior brother is coming to spend some days in his house so I can take them to hospital. Thanks for reading

Congratulations!!! I currently share one thing in common with you, 8 months of credential evaluation. It was energy draining. I'm currently post-ITA. I just pray and hope the rest of my application goes smoothly. For all you went through, it's evident that this journey isn't for the meek. May you find favour in the maple leaf country.

Does the spouse have any prior known renal issues? You may have to do private medical check with kidney specialists before your application. So sorry about this, you will be fine.

yes i think the first thing to do is to visit a Kidney specialist, preferrably in a teaching hospital. if there is no real issue get them to isuue you a medical report stating it and submit it to the hospital.

Again you can also ask the hospital on the next line of action.

Good luck, and i hope it isn't anything serious.

MY STORY
The journey ALMOST started in 2016, I was duped by an agent who told me he will get me a job offer, and after I had coughed out hundreds of thousands of naira I knew I was just wasting my time so I gave up and forgot about the whole thing(then I didn’t know about this thread). Sometime in March 2018 my friend and classmate got her Visa and travelled, I was shocked. How? I asked. Well apparently if I evaluated my document with PEBC instead of WES I would have the same score as someone that has masters (the foolish agent didn’t even know this). So without wasting much time I applied with PEBC. That was when JOHESU decided to go on strike which further delayed my Document evaluation. It took me 8 months to get my ECA by then I had already gotten my IELTS. Do NOT be deceived by this statement, it took me 3 attempts and plenty heartbreak by BC before I got my desired result. On 23rd October I created my express entry profile. I had booked my medicals for 26th October with Children’s Practice. I remember some people on this forum were crying about that at the time but I no send them. I did my Medicals on the 26Th October and got ITA on the 29th Oct, 2018.
The race for POF was real. I had prospective buyers for my business but I did not want to sell until I was sure. And so once I got my ITA I initiated the sale of the biz. However this only generated about 60% of POF (family of 4) the balance was gift deed. I submitted my application and got my AOR 23rd Nov. I remember monitoring the MEP/BIL receipt on our Nov AOR group and I was so sure of the time frame I will get mine that I even went ahead made travel arrangements to go to Lagos. I was supposed to travel with my brothers after the Xmas celebration, Do my Biometrics on 7th Jan before coming back to Ph. On the 2nd of Jan I remember when I saw the update mail I heaved a sigh of relief and opened my profile expecting to see MEP/BIL and what did I see? YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED. My heart literally stopped for a few seconds. I quickly downloaded the letter and I saw the reason they gave was I did not upload my marriage certificate. I raced to view my submitted application and lo and behold the second item was marriage certificate and In place of it I had uploaded police certificate. I must have gone through that “view submitted application” like 10 times before that day and I did not even spot the mistake. To say I was devastated was just an understatement. At the same time I was disgusted with myself like how could I have been so careless. I remember talking with Ramj and he was just encouraging me but I wasn’t even hearing cos my ear was ringing so loud. Thank you @Ramj, you won’t know what your support meant to me at that time.
Well, I had to start all over again. I entered the pool again and waited for the next draw. God just pitied me and I got ITA again and this time around my AOR was Jan 25th. If it was now with their crazy draws I don’t even know what I would have done with my meager 444. After I submitted my 2nd application I actually had panic attacks asking myself what if I omitted something Again. To make matter worse I got an update in my account on 6th March; MEP but no BIL. Hmmmm the anxiety no be here on. I went through my application again and again and again; Then I noticed when I was asked have you ever applied for VISA before I checked NO- not counting my previously cancelled application. Na wah which kind life be this. I quickly raised a CSE explaining that I did not understand the question and uploaded the cancellation letter( it probably wasn’t necessary because the application was cancelled not denied). SIX days after I passed medicals I got my BIL; Wow, the relief!!!!!

THE WAIT AFTER BIOMETRICS
I somehow convinced myself that about a month after Biometrics I will get PPR, so from 12th March I thought latest April ending I will get My PPR which was fine because May ending my rent was expiring and I planned to travel as soon as I got COPR. You would think that the universe will pity me after the cancellation and give me PPR sharp sharp. For where… I found out my VO was OTTAWA, hmmm ok at least it’s not Accra. The silence in my account was deafening. I told myself no need to order GCMS notes before it comes my PPR will be out (Funny cos I still haven’t gotten the GCMS NOTES). The wait was CRAZY. I think the hardest part was the cluelessness. Like if CIC will tell me I will give you PPR Jan 2020, its far yes but at least I can plan accordingly, but this one what do I do. Do I renew rent? Do I ask for 6months? What if the six months comes and goes still no PPR. I don’t think in my life I have ever been as anxious for anything as this. I tried to distract myself; I registered in a saloon to learn hair dressing, it really helped cos combining it with my Job I always get home very exhausted and sleep like a log, and so time seemed as if it was flying by. That’s how Accra started Dishing out PPR Oh and Ottawa people went on vacation. Chai… No word, Nothing!!!! March passed, April Passed, May passed Nothing!!!! I got into the habit of raising CSE constantly, at least let it be as if I’m hearing from CIC. Lol. Until one time they gave me one generic response like that, I was pissed off eh. Hubby was like you too stop raising CSE Haba!!! I ordered GCMS notes that’s when GCMS buddy started having delays, I didn’t want to waste my lifeline and mail Ralph, so I waited. I can’t count how many times I opened my application and all I was seeing was Submitted!!! That Submitted can kill morale eh!!!

And then came PPR…
Finally someone mentioned in our Jan AOR group that he saw a ghost update so I causally checked and lo and behold instead of submitted I saw Application/profile updated. GHEN GHEN!!! Willy willy don show. Next morning no PPR Hian, I finally mailed Ralph. He replied about 6hrs later. Criminality passed, Eligibility and security check have not been initiated. Ok… its something…. That same evening another Ghost update. I was happy eh, that weekend we went and took passport (for those in ph instead of paying 2k @ studio 24 you can use Redkarpet its just 500 naira. Imagine family of 4 instead of paying 8k like we did when we wanted to submit our application we paid 2k). Finally 4 days after the second Ghost update I Got a 3rd Ghost Update. And the next morning the Golden Mail!!! I remember setting alarm for 2 am so I can check for the mail but my internal alarm woke me up around 1:45am, I just picked my phone to keep beside me for easy access and in the process glanced at it and I saw CPCO-Final Request. Oh the Joy!!!!! My profile was reading 42 days remaining…

I will like to appreciate those that have walked this journey with me, For my Nov AOR people I apologize for the abrupt manner I left the group, I was just too heartbroken to stay. @Ramj told me one day, once a Nov AOR member always a Nov AOR member. Chai, It touched me eh!!!

Then for my Jan AOR people, hmmmmm I should reserve a FULL page for you guys. You are just something else. Characters Eh, wonderful people, so warm, funny and giving. I have already met great people in that group and I just know we will be lifelong friends. Thank you for all the encouragements, the journey is not over yet, but with you guys by my side I’m not afraid. For those still waiting on PPR it will surely come just ready your shoulder pads…

Thank you my Nlanders, This forum gave me a wealth of information that made this journey successful, all the prominent contributors that keep this thread alive thank you for all the good that you do….

YOUR MARRIAGE IS OVER!!!!!!!!!

Anyway you want to look at it your marriage was over the minute you spread your leg for your colleague.

I read where you said despite your guilt your still crave the type of sex you had with him, that says it all....

I think when you decided to tell your husband a part of your knew; maybe subconsciously; but you knew he wont forgive you and it will end your marriage. Maybe that's what you wanted all along. I mean which African man forgives his wife cheating on him. If i told my husband that I cheated on him and he forgave me then I would know for a FACT that he is cheating on me too. You may love your husband but you want more from him than you are getting and you feel like your life is passing you by. If you don't get it now you will loose the chance for ever.

You sound like a smart lady so you must have thought it all out. I mean the sex didn't just happen, you met him in a hotel which means it was carefully planned. so these are the three possible scenarios that could have resulted from what you did.
1. Stepping out the first time will give you courage to keep stepping outside your marriage
2. your husband will forgive you BUT use the excuse to start cheating as well
3. Your husband will dump you; which he did...

Either way your marriage is over and YOU ended it...

So don't come here crying, you got what you wanted after all. Now you can F**K those your athletic bodied men you always wanted to and you don't have to feel guilty. And just in case your colleague is no more interested( what did you expect? DUH!!!) they are everywhere; clubs, gyms, heck even in church.

Good luck to you and pls use a condom, STIs are real!!!!

Marbella003:
I took some of the advice from my previous thread and told my husband what happened. Here is the thread:

https://www.nairaland.com/5162191/cheated-husband-guy-work-dont

I was genuine shedding tears as I relayed my shameful experience to him. I apologized and begged for him to forgive me and I promised to never repeat such again. I thought he'd understand and forgive me. But I was wrong. My husband now wants a divorce. Actually, he has sent me and the kids out of his house. I have a daughter who is 4 and a son who is 2. My husband said he doesn't think he is the father. I assured him that he is and that he should get a DNA test to confirm. But he refused.

IRCC does NOT send IP1 or IP2 confirmation either through text or email. The message could be from your agent if not its a SCAM

Good day,
I received my IRCC and IRCC-IP2 confirmation through text messages and most people said they received theirs through E-mail.
I need to confirm if it's genuine cos someone helped me with the process and registration.

I have received the IRCC-IP2 since 4th April when should i be expecting their next message.
Thank you.

Pls, which body will give the ECA for optometrist. Medicine and pharmacy assessment is done by their repective councils in Canada.
And WES only evaluates degree as 4years bachelor degree, which it is not. So which body evaluates optometry degree as a masters degree equivalent, which it is.

Pls, I really need help and answers.
I was considering IQAS.

How come WES evaluated yours for 3yrs a friend of mine used WES and the result was 6 years.

CIC did not specify a body for optometrists like they did Med and Pharm, so I guess you can use any Evaluating body.

And don't listen to those saying its not a professional course because it is...

I went to children's practice on Friday for my medicals. There were about 10 gate crashers. They gave them seats outside to wait. About 11am they finished with those of us that booked and faced the gate crashers. By the time we were leaving around 2pm they has finished attending to all those gate crashers
I guess that's worth a try

And why are most Nigerians backward and expect to be spoon fed everytime.

A) you are aware you will do medicals
b) you know you have to book in advance
c) you are aware there are limited spaces.

yet not only do you not have the common sense to book ahead for yourself, you have the guts to come here and troll those who have the foresight to do so.

People like you need serious help...

Zeewirld:
......He is not wrong to refer to "people like you" ....We need to send a strong worded letters to the hospitals that only persons with ITA are allowed to book for medical.. Sincerely, I wonder why most Nigerians are greedy and rather than address the issues with ourselves, we rather blame others and Politicians.
