We are really missing the point here. This shows how low things have become in this country. It would have been a different thing if it had been an agbero (a tout, thug) that had returned this lost phone. A policeman who is paid by the State to protect lives and properties? |
Of what use are the stolen medals and plaques to the robbers? |
I bought Infinix Zero 4 Plus in June last year for N124k. Around August 2018 this year, I suddenly discovered that my callers could not hear me neither could I hear them. I took it to the nearest Carl Care Centre and they told me the mouth-piece was faulty and would be replaced at my own cost since they claimed the warranty period was over. They didn't even advise me to back up my data since they claimed the repairs would not affect the memory. After about two weeks, they returned the phone to me claiming they would have to replace the 'board' which would cost me about N70k which I don't presently have. To make matters worse, my phone memory with about 50gig data had been wiped off without my consent. |
These tanker drivers and recklessness are twins. |
Oh I really love these unfolding developments. PDP is patiently waiting in the wings to cash in on the fall-outs from the APC primaries. |
This is a very strategic move by the APC hawks who are hellbent on seeing the back of Ambode. They want to be sure that if they pull the plugs on him at the dying minutes, Ambode will not be able to decamp to another major party as it will be too late as most of the notable parties are rounding up their primaries this weekend. If I were Ambode now, I will make my own move this weekend by secretly picking up the flag of one of the notable parties while I await the outcome of the rescheduled APC primaries. |
This Sanwo - Olu guy should better watch it as he's being used as a pawn in a political chess game. Yoruba people say that "opa ti won fi na iyaale.." |
Since when did rapping become an offence? Or the OP meant to say 'raping'? |
How I wished this were to be a Corolla? Could u help? |
People are just dying like fowls day in, day out, here in Nigeria. Very late yesterday I heard the sad news of the demise of a close friend who was hit by a small boy driving his parents' vehicle. The small boy ended up killing three adult persons denying their families their respective breadwinners. |
Mimiko hmmm.... From AD to PDP to LP to PDP now back to LP. |
Rest in peace.. |
Lafiaji |
I wonder why no one is talking about Samuel Peter any longer. We are only running after readymade products in our sporting activities, nothing like growing our local talents. Success has so many friends. |
Ina ilehi wa ina ilehi rajiuna |
Very cute |
If I return it, they will say it's because of the beating I received that formatted my brain. |
This is utter rubbish. I expected this to happen since Ade Lawyer recanted last week perhaps due to inducement or threat. But I know the truth will prevail in the end. |
I wonder what would have happened if this fine babe had died in her sleep while in her boyfriend's house? |
I get your point. However, there is no deception here, it is simply fact. We placed order for 10 units. Pakistan borrowed us 4 units so our pilots can train on them before delivery begins. Later they made 5 deliveries and the 4 borrowed to us were returned. Today, the delivery has been completed. Also, another delivery of a 4th generation fighter jet, JF-17 Thunder, is expected. Monies have been paid already. NAF has a new committed leaderships, let's give them the benefit of the doubt Thanks for throwing more light on this because the last I heard about this aircraft was that Nigeria had returned them since they were only borrowed. |
I don't know how Innoson plans to initiate a case in a public court and conclude it without the knowledge of its opponents- EFCC, Police, GTB etc. Even most courts are unwilling to grant exparte orders because of the abuse inherent. But my concern now is that Innoson has bought itself a bag of trouble by claiming that it withdrew its case from a particular court because the sitting judge was "compliant". The company will have to prove this damaging allegation before the National Judicial Council, ICPC and other law enforcement agencies. |
The plain truth is that the guy just needed the marriage certificate to travel abroad. In fact, the lady even played into his hands by filing for divorce because the guy would simply use the divorce papers to do another marriage with a citizen of his host country in order to get residence permit. That's why the guy's lawyer didn't object. |
The rate at which people are committing suicide these days is becoming alarming. |
It appears that our National Security Adviser who is the coordinator of the nation's security apparatus does not know his onions. He ought to have ensured that our various security agencies are not working at cross purposes. |
This is so sad and highly discouraging. If not that the policy was widely publicised when it was introduced late last year, I'm sure this government would have denied ever making the policy. However, I only fear for the safety of the whistle-blower guy because a determined assassin would have got enough tips in the past few days to trail him. For instance, we already know his lawyer, the lawyer could be trailed and his phone tapped which would lead evil-minded people straight to his client. Not only that, it is now public knowledge that the guy is receiving treatment at Yaba Psychiatric Hospital. The way this guy is being treated by the FG would surely discourage other potential whistle-blowers. |
Expect the police to change their story: Yes the suspected kidnappers were caught alive, but they were shot dead while trying to escape from police custody. |
And so? How does that become an achievement? |
Very innovative. |
Anybody staying in Akure would have heard of the Akudaaya house at Owe-Akala, Oke-Aro, Akure which belonged to a famous well-to-do man from Kogi State. The man who had previously died in his home town relocated to Akure, became prosperous, got married and had kids. However, his village people, after getting wind of his emergence in Akure tracked him down. He suddenly disappeared from his home while his village people were waiting for him in his living room leaving behind his wife and kids till today. |
For the reason of national security, it's not proper to disclose this guy's identity to the public. Due to the sensitive nature of his job, he could be blackmailed or threatened to jeopardize the life of the president. This post should be taken down ASAP. |
For those clamouring for the relocation of the headquarters of oil companies to the volatile oil producing companies, this is another disservice. How do you expect the companies to relocate to your area when the companies already on ground are daily harassed and extorted? At times, the employees of these companies are kidnapped or even killed. These companies pay taxes and rates to all layers of government yet they are still expected to play the role of government by providing roads, hospitals, scholarships, schools, employment and other empowerment programmes. Any oil company that wants to give back to the host communities should be encouraged and not harassed or intimidated. |
Was there at the stadium in Cape coast, Ghana. Nigeria won 2 nil. Ezenwa was man of the match. Both goals came late in the game[/quote]Many thanks bro for the update. I tried to follow up on the match through all channels but no show. Up Nigeria! |
