jezsie: From the little I have learnt from people here, getting a 3 months tourist visa is better. Also check wakanow.com for tickets far cheaper than 450k. Carefully read the thread and you will get all the necessary information you need. 2 Likes |

Travel / Re: QATAR And UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES PART 2 by SirWellington(m): 11:54pm On Nov 19, 2017 |
America001: What he said was: authenticate your O'levels and highest certificates with the MOFA and MOE. But you can then authenticate only your highest certificate be it B. Sc or HND with UAE embassy, just to cut cost. This is because with the UAE Embassy, only your highest certificate can suffice, as that's whats most important. But if you have too much money, you can do both with the UAE embassy. |

nattybanta: Stop being a sisi... No one is hating, don't see anything to prompt me hating a dude hustling in Dubai, all man dey find hi daily bread. My point is, uae are yet to incorporate domestic workers into thier Labour law, as you see in that write up (as I assume you can read), they Said the bill is still pending ratification. My point still is, your response was completely irrelevant. |

nattybanta: This is what I call not only a nasty but also a very rude response to what I posted. You don't shove people simply because you feel you are previed to certain information than others, if you feel I made a wrong assertion, you correct the person and not assume the person asserting what they don't know. I read something online and also watched it on CNN and expressed my opinion, your response was irrelevant. https://www.hrw.org/news/2017/08/24/qatar-new-law-gives-domestic-workers-labor-rights |

I hope the UAE reviews her labour law the way Qatar just did. Quite innovative. |

Petersamuel8: He's wrong, try to o investigate what you hear or read online, this guy might even be a dstv agent. Call thier customer care online, go online and check thier numbers, don't let anyone give you, it's 5k. I visited thier agent here in festac this morning. |
TV/Movies / Re: Landing Cost For Tstv Is #28,000 And Not #5,000 by SirWellington(m): 9:40am On Oct 12, 2017 |
OP you are very very wrong, it's actually N5, 000. As confirmed from thier outlet here In festac. Go online, get thier customer care numbers and call stop relying on heresay or what some people just post online. OP this isn't fair at all! I almost believed you until this morning, haba |

DrSleekQas: The word "well paid" is relative. It's just like telling a banker in Nigeria who earns 100-200k not to come to dubai to hustle because he earns well, noting that job security with private outfits isn't guaranteed in Nigeria, and with time he might earn more than that in Dubai with all necessary basic amenities In place. Point is, if you have the hustling spirit, know your worth and you are spiritually equipped, just follow the leading of the spirit. 2 Likes |

one thing i like about the UAE is that they are very sensitive when it comes to their foreign policy and wont want to be seen in the light of encouraging terrorism or infringe on the sovereignty of any state. |

If three months visa can take this long I wonder how long direct employment visa will now take. |
Travel / Re: QATAR And UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES PART 2 by SirWellington(m): 7:55pm On May 16, 2017 |
In that video the guy said some of them have 2 years visas and all, and the question is how can you get a Dubai 2 years visa without a job, then on what premise were you given the two years visa. I just think it's a case of guys who went with tourist visas and are so desperate to get a high paying job which requires some level of experience or qualification. |

With what's going on I just think it's safer one gets a genuine direct employment visa and start from anywhere. |
