[quote author=edafe2000 post=67932365]sirwellinton you didn't not reply my message I ask u that my visa is expiring on the 20th and am giving on 12th for my interview and biometric so what's the chance.[/quote

Okay. What this entails is that after your biometrics on the 12th, you have about 2-4 days to pick up your stamped passport (by God's grace), then you will have to book your tickets and move immediately. Nothing should keep you in Nigeria beyond the 20th. You must be in the UAE on or before the 20th.

Thanks.

60 days from when it was issued in UAE and not from the day it was stamped here.

information reaching me confirms that your visa starts counting when it get stamped at the point of entry. Since this new initiative, your visa won't koalas while still in your country.

So the information say... My sister who traveled 10th May said.

But it will kalas if you don't travel within two months after the temporal visa is being issued to you. Hence, you must have done your biometrics, gotten your passport stamped and then travel within two months, hence..... Except the rules have changed now.

yes they are giving appointment based on the date your visa was issued. I posted here on Tuesday about my experience there.

My visa was out 14 of this month, the guy gave me 19 of July I went on Wednesday he changed it to 25 of june, I went today again he chanced to 20 of June I will still go back tomorrow.

But the a friend of mine whose visa came out 25of April was given 11 of June, while he just came today, me that came before home didn't smell that date because his visa will expire before that time so they consider these things.

Still there was this guy that came with a visa that will expire next week Tuesday they gave him appointment for tomorrow.

More also, ladies doesn't spend more than a week in that embassy, once its a ladies visa, they will give you appointment for same day or the next day.

Reporting live from UAE embassy Abuja.

OH, thank you so very much.

OH now I get, I thought someone said they are now giving priority to those their visas will soon expire. Or maybe they even give you an appointment date based on the date on your temporal visa was issued.

Chioma, have you join our league after all this wait, its well sha.

The fact is that some people still spend like 5 days before their visa are issued after they have successful done biometric, because they will be asked to call the person that applied for their visa to go to ministry in UAE to facilitate the visa.

Some gets theirs within 2/ 3 days so it is based on the kind of luck you carry

Haba. After going through the rigor of getting the biometrics done, you still have to contact your link in UAE? for a three months visa? It's well.

Impressed seeing someone making the extra move on this. I think too that they at some point allow people in in batches to book their appointment, not exactly sure. But one thing I know is that the guy with the phone, in charge of the appointment desk is one person I just disliked at first sight (God forgive me). Pretty pompous type carrying a demi-god attitude, all the way from the entrance gate, wish I could even land him a slap from here now sef. Mtcheeewww!

Save for a few of the embassy's security guys, only that sweet lady they all report to (Topnotch personality) and the girls assisting there as part of security and all have my regards.

I think someone here also insinuated they now allow people book appointments at the embassy (not really sure as well). All these uncertainties.... Hmmmm

hope someone can go to the embassy anytime as long as the temporary visa is with you though am planning for nextweek but you know na in terms of money to spend there is roughly 70k both biometric and the attestation of the pcc

PCC isn't a core requirement anymore. But to be on the safe side, you can go ahead and do the authentication.

Good morning everyone, I want to ask a question I feel will help those who will be going to Abuja to complete their visa processes. Usually upon being issued the three months visa you are given 60 days within which you are expected to travel, now that one has to go to Abuja to complete the process, does the 60 days validity start to count from when you are issued the visa in the UAE or from when the Visa is finally attached to you passport in Abuja??

Please someone should help with this, please.

Don't allow someone else's experience be your own reality. Some go over there and are favored more than others, while some have terrible experiences, some have testimonies. If you have really read the thread well you will depict some reasonable gurus here have emphasised on BEING PREPARED, and mapping out your plans well. If you can take the chance depending on your circumstance, then go, else, remain here and tarry with PMB. Bless up!

UAE na who no come no go know, if you choose to come over, pls prepare for the best and expect the worst.

The truth is that UAE has been flooded mostly by indians, filipinos, nepalis, kenyans etc. To even get a menial job na war not to talk of career job. Meanwhile I'm not discouraging anybody from coming before them go talk say i no want their progress. With God all things are possible.

Using myself as an example: Back in 2016 prior to my coming over here, i knew what to expect as a new migrant/job seeker. Finally when i came i had no one to put the blame on, 2 days after, i started searching for job, day time I’m everywhere along the sheikh zayed road, while at night I’m on the system bombing cvs to companies, I attended the first interview by invitation after a week though I didn’t get the job, (that is preparing for the best and expecting the worst). So I continued searching, to cut the story short, we were 4 Nigerians searching for job same time and we all got the jobs before our visa kalas, though not our dream job but today we all have changed jobs to better one.
UAE is not for the lazy Nigeriansgrin
Plan very well before coming, don’t waste money on visa, flight ticket and living expenses and finally you won’t get a job. BE WISE

This is more like it.

You who are not restricting your thought process clap for your self. No one says staying in Nigeria is better as against UAE. But you do not know a thing about UAE and in comparison to success stories and legal or illegal expats from Nigeria here you certainly cannot know what obtains. Anyway no need to explain further to you. Cos if you feel UAE is better than Nigeria then you see why i asked you to sama your head. Ok, konk yourself...neither Nija nor UAE is better. It is case sensitive and dependent on individuals. If you want to compare it should be with Europe or america...Mpama

Shattap and get the crux of my point. A young man asked a simple question, and you in your own wisdom adviced him not to come, then I asked, if the UAE is as bad as most people make it seem, why are they still there? I asked that question from a place of curiosity, and you haven't given any logical answer that makes sense at all, only citing the case of the 30k difference which I see as myopic. Is it hard to engage your kind of person in an Intellectual conversation? Is it that hard? No need to use vulgar words, if you don't have a reasonable answer, keep mute.

The question i will ask you is would you fly from Nigeria to Dubai for 30 thousand naira extra. If your answer is yes then raise your hand put it close to your cheeks and give yourself one woosa for the road

Why restrict your thought process Now let me ask you: the prospect of getting a better pay with time in the UAE and over here In Nigeria, which is higher if you answer is Nigeria slap yourself out of my mentions. Peer here you can be on 120k for years, in the UAE, CHANCES ARE HIGHER. don't be limited.

The question I want to ask is, if Dubai is as hard and difficult as most of you put it, what are you still doing there Shouldn't you come back home with the little you have made and remain in Nigeria? I think people will take your submission more seriously if you come back home.
