You need to tell your friends to visits the Passport office as soon as possible to make a complaint and stand his or her ground to see the Commander or any senior Immigration officer. The reason is, the passports may not be ready till next generation, the system is so corrupt that you must always drop extra to get your passport. I did my own last year December and I collected it within 3weeks all because I don't want story like this. Though it was an urgent renewal that I needed and I submitted some document for they fast track it. I saw some people that captures 2years above and there passport never ready and some people also do passport and got it within 2days because they paid huge amount of money.

Is it possible to cancel and re-do a new one?

If you acknowledge that it takes a smart individual to learn a language and speak it proficiently, then introduce your angle of thought, you would make a better case.

Well, I had my early years in the UK, so my English comes from native speaking and, with an accent even till this day. I studied in BC. What's more? I have only lived a cumulative 13 years of my life in 9ja. Nevertheless, I know of an old friend called Ngozi who studied English in UNN. She speaks better English than I do. She does not talk faster, or have the accent but she commands English and UTTERS more advanced words that exist in my head only. Ngozi taught me the art of public speaking and speech writing. Ngozi opened my eyes to privileges that the English language offers. Because of Ngozi, I paid attention to understanding what I actually voice out.

Ngozi was born and raised in Enugu. She had never stepped a foot out of her state until NYSC, and today she works in the British Consulate in Nigeria.

Let Ngozi change your thought. Let Ngozi inspire you the way she did me.

Fewer times, those who speak English with an attitude and make a noise about it cannot distinguish between an adverb and an adjective. Nevertheless, giving them credit will not hurt anyone. You take the time to be better in whatever skill that you posses.

Here's a news flash for you.... By default, humans assess each other by default. We almost can't help it. Whenever we find ourselves in a new environment or meet new people, we assess everything to determine how to approach and continue. We don't stop unlike an acceptable judgment is reached.

Great news for you! The Bible asks you to mind your business. The work Christians have is not to judge those OUTSIDE. Focus on the ones INSIDE that you know. 1 Corinthians 5:12 -13.

So, when you meet a new person for the first time, be positive. Stop looking for cracks on his shell. Do what Peter did (extend you arm of friendship Galatians 2:9). As time goes on, God will reveal the intention of one's heart 1 corinthians 4:5.

When you meet someone, ask the necessary questions and do not make anyone feel uncomfortable meeting you. Be nice and friendly. If he says thay he is a Christian and believes in the Bible, rather than asking nerve-wrenching questions, engage him in friendly conversation based on the Bible.

Flight to Lagos is booked, PH to Abuja is booked, but having troubles with Lagos to Warri connection.
