I have regular conversations with Jehovah's witnesses and none has ended in violence. On the contrary, I have got into a fist fight with two redeemers pastors because they couldn't contain the truth. I felt I should share this testimony so Pastors who read can do the same thing provided they meet the conditions.

Over a decade ago, I pastored a church under the umbrella of one of the leading ministry in Nigeria. We went out for evangelism and won quite a number of souls on Saturday which we were expecting on Sunday morning.

But Sunday morning came and it rained cat and dog. As usual, when it rains, attendance drops. But I wasn't happy because none of the new souls showed up. I am an aggressive soul winner. Sometimes, we get over 30 new souls on Sunday morning through evangelical activities. But that Sunday, not a single new soul came because of rainfall.

I immediately remembered what Prophet Elijah did in his days and the scripture says he was a man of like passion. Besides, we are living in a better day than the days of Elijah.

So, I called a few of my leaders than we can stop this rain from falling on Sunday morning. All we need to do is go to God with our strong reasons. And the strong reason we gave to God is that his kingdom will be deprived of new souls if it consistently rain Sunday morning. These new souls will need to come to church so they can be nurtured by the word of God. We promise to continue the weekly soul winning activities. And we agree it was done.

In addition, we gave the rain time to start falling if it must fall because there are others who might need the rain. And we fix the time for 2pm. That means it will not rain until 2 pm when we believe all churches must have closed and members should be home.

Glory to God. This prayer was honoured for five full years. And each time it rained on Sundays, it was from 2 pm.

The first Sunday rain fell in the middle of the raining season the sixth year. And this is why it fell. We broke our part of the covenant. The brethren became complacent towards soul winning. And I reminded them.

So, we have authority over weather elements. Not for personal gains but for the advancement of God's kingdom.

You too can do it when you have a very good reason.

God watches over his word to perform it.

1. If the same spirit that actuated the mind of Paul is in your pastors, why are they all stuck in Nigeria and cannot move to other countries like Paul. Paul stayed years away from his base. Why Can't Lazarus stay two years in Niger republic and another two years in Sierra Leone?

2. If all those beloved pastors of yours worship the same God, why can't they unite now under one umbrella the way the apostles of Christ did? Peter was WITH Paul, Barnabas was WITH Mark and Paul. They all met and worked together. There was no division. Even Paul wrote, that he planted and Apollos watered but God made it flourish. So, why is there god of Adeboye, god of chosen, god of Suleiman, God of synagogue etc?

3. Why didn't Paul ask the church to donate for him to buy a boat the way the church has donated to buy MANY private jets for your favorite pastors?

4. 1 Corinthians 7:8 Paul advised that you remain unmarried and Timothy copied that even as Paul himself remained unmarried. How is it possible that ALL the pastors in Nigeria disregarded Paul's admonition? And, yet they claim to be performing even more works than Paul.

5. Timothy could have gone to the finest school at the time in Athens. Rather he chose to do the work of the Lord. How is it possible that ALL your pastors children go to the finest school of today as opposed to doing the work of the Lord?

6. When Paul met with the rulers, he gave a fine evangelism to them about Jesus. Adeboye was invited to the government house, where is the evidence that he gave Buhari a fine evangelism?

7. Matthew 24:9 Jesus said, "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake". Why is there not a single famous pastor getting killed in Nigeria? Or, is the Bible lying to us? Let us argue that SOME escaped death, but ALL at the same time? Not even persecution, not even handing over, not even imprisonment, not even being killed.
