Bakare used low estate synonymously with shoeless. The shoeless here refers to GEJ'S political campaign slogan. Haba Skii, why are you denying the obvious. Is it because you come from a wealthy background? Does the world for the rich not have provision for the poor like us? is leadership skills an exclusive reserve of the high estate? Should we stop going to school, or stop developing ourselves just because we are of low estate or shoeless? If Bakare wanted to say moral decay, not morally upright, ethically backward, he knew the appropriate words to use. He meant to abuse the poor, he wanted to restrict us to followership, he wanted to distinguish between the rich and poor. Must a man of God segregate? Tell him that We the poor now know his agenda and will resist him with all our might.

Bakare said when shoeless people, or people of low estate rule, terrible things begin to happen. This implies that for terrible things not to happen, only rich men should rule. Or what is the meaning of shoeless, or men of low estate? Pls, the defenders of Bakare are those that are rich, we the poor must rise up and defend our rights. Nigeria belongs to all of us, period.

For the true compatriots of this country,what tunde bakare has said would makes so much sense and to the others,laugh it off.
There are still some Nigerians who love this country with everything in them.....Tunde bakare,I salute you.
Between 7pm and 7am this morning,like every other day,thousands of my brothers,sistes,uncles and aunties are robbed,raped,killed,beaten,kidnapped and other taken for rituals....No protection from their president,no passion either from the first lady....
The number of prostitutes we have this year is almost twice of last year,yet they still struggle to make ends meet......Yet the first lady doesn't concern herself with their existence.
By God's grace,the Jeroboam and his cabinets would soon become history of painful memories.

Because we've had a pastor so concerned about this country doesn't make him fake. Even in d bible,every of God's prophets were different from eachother and if there's anyone that belives so much in diversity,its God himself.
A pastor is not a robot, as a matter of fact,they are referred to as shepherds.....If nothing bad happens to their sheep,if the grasses are green for their consumption,the water is clean for their cleaning,drugs are available for their treatments,every shepherd would be happy and when he stands and looks at his flock,he would be just so excited and fulfilled.....But when his sheeps are struggling and suffering,thou he maintains calm amongst them,he is ready to fight anything for the sake of his sheeps......
Every sunday morning, pastors are faced with so much difficulties their members are facing,some lost their lives due to bad roads,some are lying sick for months at the hospital due to poor health infrastructures,some had their shops demolished due to strict goverment measures,some had dropped out from school because the school fees have been increased by 150%,some have just lost their jobs,some are in critical condition just because they unsuspectedly took fake drugs obtained in a chemist,some are jobless for months,running into years,despite having a bachelor's degree,some came announing their intention to return back to the village because the house rent has toppled and some of the members have their life savings forced out of them as fines paid because they were caught passing one way,in a bid to avoid making his only car break down in an unpassable water logged very deep pit on his own normal lane..........
If you are a good shepherd and your sheep suffers any of these and still hears the president of your country spends about 40 Million naira daily on food,newspapers,diesel and drinks,I wonder how you would still be able to look into your sheep faces,open your bible and again preach to them hope,when its glaring the hardships are due to poor governance.
Even from the old testaments,God has always being actively involved in politics.
If your own pastor doesn't talk about politics at all and anotherr do,please do not criticize,they have their difference in their calling,in their nature and in their life phylosophies.

I am an evangelist, I also read and make comments on politics on various blogs and websites daily, but I always no which ground I am speaking from. If I come to your house as an evangelist and start talking politics and Nigeria(not to even mention insulting our president) how would you receive me the second visit? As a bible student, I learnt from David, when he had the opprtunity to kill Saul, he refused and made a very remarkable statement when he said he would not touch the Lord's anointed no matter what. We all know that the Spirit of God had departed from Saul at this time and David himself knew for he was the one brought to play the harp everytime an evil siprit took over Saul. It is the duty of the clerics to purify the hearts and souls of people ( including DR.& Mrs. Jonathan) and to equip them with good morals safeguardingbthem from tyranny and egotistical desires, and the opposite of tyranny is justice. A man of God must invite leaders and other people to putting knowledge into practice, he should inform them for knowledge is the opposite of ignorance.when you put such knowledge into practice you perform your duty according to the critria laid down for valid righteous deeds. In this case the constitution and the laws of the country and morality.Morality for a leader include suppressing the desires of ego, inculcating the justice, mercy,affection, forgiveness and gratitude. Bakare is great teacher and I only wish Jonathan and his wife will take notes and put knowledge into practice and they will have their names written in Gold and for ever in Nigeria and world history.

Pastor Bakare is a Man of God who loves this country so much - a man who feels the pain everyone else is feeling. He speaks against injustice, corruption, negligence and misuse of power.

Christians here will remember those who spoke against evil governance and mediocrity in the Bible: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, ...Malachi are prophets who didn't only preach spiritual sermons but also, spoke against bad governance prevailing at their time. This is a wake-up call! Whether we feel concerned or not, we'll reap whatever fruit this administration brings to the table.

That he (Bakare) is a pastor even makes it more appealing and reasonable. This country is falling into political anarchy and apathy. Speak against bad governance and pray for it. God bless Nigeria.
