We need someone to galvanize us and bring about a glaring positive change!! |
Interesting read... I repeat this thing I heard from a debate between a Muslim Cleric and his Christian counterpart. The Christian cleric sure handed it to him; Muslims need to stand up for themselves and decide which type of Islam they wish to practice. Either a strict type or a liberalized type. They need to form different aspects of the faith just like the Orthodox and Protestant churches. Each person go your own way so that the terrorists or barbaric actions of a few, in the name of the same god of all can stop casting the entire religion in a certain light In relation to Nigeria, I don't believe the "few" elements of Boko Haram speak for the entire Muslim practicing Nigerians. However, I think the onus is on the Nigerian Muslims who are opposed to the practices of Boko Haram to stand up against them, so that they don't risk being unjustly labelled as potential terrorists!! As to the amalgamation of Nigeria, biblically, light has no business with darkness. Each person may eventually need to go his own separate way. The north recognise their meager contribution to the country as a whole hence the desperate clamour of the few political elite to always be at the helm of power. They are threatened by the idea that power too long at the hands of someone of a different ethnicity and religious background may eventually lead to this secession and thus bring an end to their exploitation of this fundamental flaw. Again, this clamour is only of a very desperate and greedy few, benefitting from this unholy union. |
These people don't even waste time in their generosity Is this a reward for the current failure of the under-implementation of the budget? |
Okija_juju: Na wah o!!My brother, quarrel no dey there, Na just sey part of the leadership attributes na humility and ability to empathize with the people wey the leader dey lead Shikena!! |
chucky234: Beaf has since jumped wagon leaving Billyonaire,Dedeike,Jmaine and explorert to their faithI had to check to be sure which one is which? Beaf or Beaf!(with an exclamation mark?) |
antitpiah: Dont believe everything you see. Common people like you are only meant to see a couple of secretly armed police which may not be obvious from the photograph above because of the angle from which the pix was taken. There are no doubts that there are armed MI5 agents, armed plain clothes officers, armed bodyguards and maybe a few James Bonds all nearby and mixed in with the crowd, in the train, and on the ground, stationed at all his stops; they are all trained to notice potential threats and counter them before they become real threats, and they are all trained to blend into the background and not be noticed. Just try grabbing the prime minister and see how far you get. If you look closely enough, the passengers around him were carefully selected and werent too close to him. Again, dont let Oyinbo fool you.Well, you might have a point there sha |
Okija_juju: He lives in Aso Rock, he dosent need a train to get to work...I have never been to Aso Rock nor seen from the TV or internet what it looks like so I don't know the geography of the place but I am sure the office complex and the residential compound are not in the same building and regardless of their distance apart, I am almost certain that GEJ doesnt walk or cycle to the office from home!! |
Leadership is a style David Cameron CYCLES to parliament...this day, he opted for the train to go to the Olympics Fashola rides in lagos traffic without using siren...CONFIRMED!! GEJ here would most likely have been compelled to ride the train since he was commissioning it. |
One of the tools that has worked in favor of the few rich and corrupted ruling bunch of this country particularly of the northern extraction is the ignorance of the populace Following recent events, such as the fuel subsidy protest, it has come as a rude and awakening shock to these few corrupt northerners the slow and gradual "awakening" of the masses to some of the dirty tricks of governance being perpetrated in Abuja and replicated at their locales Indeed they know that the north doesnt really contribute to Nigeria (with many of their states occupying the last positions in that regard, Jigawa as an example) so they see the need to desperately reclaim power at all cost So much is this their heightened awareness of the state of things that some of them are even willing to dump PDP, as it has now become synonymous with under-performance, poor governance, fraud, looting and so on, and realign themselves with the new political shift being orchestrated by the CPC and ACN (as highlighted in the OP of this thread) just to retain this power When they have themselves in power, they can continue to execute their systematic pilfering of this currently inadequate system of governance and prevent any attempts to indeed turn it around for the genuine good of all as GEJ is trying to but is unfortunately struggling and somewhat ill-equipped to do. Omo, Driving in Lagos state is almost like a video game o, GRAND THEFT AUTO (LAGOS) with a little bit of need for speed and street fighter!! |
Is this a sign of something they have seen that we have not? Is the oil starting to finish? Are they planning a careful exit strategy? Assuming the purported oil that we have is actually less than it is, are they envisaging a scenario where it will suddenly dawn on Nigeria that there is not even a single drop anymore and that they would be the ones to take the blame immediately? Hmm....this thing is fishy o |
Donalð Genes: Well,i quess u shud sit her down and tawk to her if she is after money or ua hrt dat u wont delay to back of the relationshop!she is just too over demandinq...secondly she is takin you 4 a ride ![]() OP, sounds to me like you may be the one with the issue here, as there are always two sides to a story.its possible you unconsciously reward for intimacy, so it may have become psychological for your current gf as well as your previous one. She now wants the reward first |
Fellow Nairalanders, Now that the post study visa has been removed (April 2012) and most job openings are all requiring that applicants be fully eligible to work in UK -with some going as far as saying that "a post study visa does not meet this requirement", I'd please like to know what the way forward is? On one hand, UKBA say one needs a company as a sponsor to make up the points necessary to apply for the Tier 2 work permit visa (just like a school serving as a sponsor for the Tier 4 student visa) On the other hand, the companies are unwilling to sponsor... Now with the drop in application from international students (who by the way bring about £8billion pounds to the British economy annually), the UK colleges and universities are putting pressure on the authorities to cut back on the laws restricting international students post study... My question is this, assuming the UK Government do go back on the restrictions, for those people in this momentary period of time between the abolition of the post study visa, NOW, the parliamentary deliberations to relax the law, and what the new law would be... WHAT CAN BE DONE TO GET A JOB? ![]() Thoughts welcomed...Thanks PS: This thread is solely for the purpose of idea generation and discussion. The Moderators will do kindly to hide any irrelevant and unwarranted responses. |
![]() That weed sure taste different in Jamaica Remember Snoop from Soul plane? When he took the real African Mushroom?? Not surprised!! ![]() |

Eeya, @acidtalk, well done, at least I appreciate your effort to give us something to drag on about |
Maybe TB Joshua should help check whats up with "HOME" first or is it that the shroud that covers Nigeria is so thick that he cannot see through it? Anything at least? |
Zeddicus: If you happen to come anywhere around the recruitment section of companies, you will be shocked to the marrows. I was in the HR of my company between March and June and I just had to plead to be removed from there, reason being that at a point I got so fed up with the whole drama. Take a look at that attached document. This girl took an hour to write that crap! At the end of the day, she will curse me for sending her away immediately and curse GEJ for not creating employment opportunities. Mtcheew! ![]() Come on, you can't be serious she wrote that? |
That moment, when you read halfway, and continue to read thinking it would end as one ravishing encounter, but ALAS! its a good moral-ed story (smh at myself, lol, #Godiswatchingme#) |

buzugee: you need to beg your primitive mind to free you from 'juju' bondage. besides i have seen your type in london and i refuse to live like you. i see you logging huge bags of garri on your head in peckham. joining together with 3 other nigerians to buy whole goats and then splitting it etc etc. all these local moves just to save money and go and shine and oppress your fellow local people in nigeria. i refuse to be like you. the day i regress to such primitive mindset and measures is the day i end my life. lol. fork outta here |

@cap28, Much as I agree with most of the points raised in the article, i think they may be getting more credit on the whole bible thingy than they actually deserve. On another note, here is something you might find interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG9CE55wbtY I think many children these days regardless are falling into this category And in your response go easy on me , just my humble opinions ![]() |
Well done BRF!! Just look at his hair, compare with Obama's and Jonathan's after their tenures so far in office... |
