durobraham: Her husband isnt just sending money home, he is sending ALL his money home. what kind of husband&father doesnt pay for the mortgage or buy clothes for his kids?! strange story
i seriously doubt she is saying the whole story. she is working part time. who is paying the mortgage? definitely not her? with part time work, you cant feed your kids in UK unless you are getting additional benefits from the government.i have lived here in UK enough to understand when a woman wants to leave her husband, she calls him a waste of space and says he never contributes to the family.i know because i see them a lot bashing their husband and putting the blame on him. You actually believe that the husband sends all his money home?It does not make any sense. There is more to her story than she is saying.

kadarva: Hi all

Thanks for your replies. Haven't got much time to reply to all of u now but will have more time Thu day or friday.

One thing I want to make clear: I am divorcing my husband because he is sending money to his family whilst he cannot afford to. Although I work part-time I pay nearly all the bills and the mortgage!! This has been going on for about 2 years. The only thing he pays for is food shopping. Now tell me which woman will put up with that crap?

He cannot even buy his kids clothes or toys. Everything has to come out of my pocket, whilst he is spending everything on his family.

I WOOUL NOT MIND THAT IF WE HAD THE MONEY BUT WE DON'T
there is more to what you saying. So you will leave a loving kind, hard working man because he sends money home?

Romance › Re: Am Pregnant For My Boyfriend's Grandfather by Skywalker5(m): 3:10pm On Jun 11, 2012
Amusaopeyemi: "I had sex with my boyfriend’s grandad and now I’m pregnant. Do I lie to my boyfriend and tell him it’s his or do I come clean?
I’ve been with my boyfriend for three years. He’s 22 and I’m 19. We were at school together. He’s now at university and I’m a beautician.
I’ve known my boyfriend’s family for a long time and my parents and his parents are friends. His grandfather is 58 and he has three kids – one of whom is my boyfriend’s dad – and 10 grandchildren. He is a football coach so is very fit for his age.
My boyfriend’s parents had a big party at their house one night recently. My parents went along and so did my little brother. We had a great time, dancing until the early hours. My mum and dad left with my brother in a taxi but I stayed the night with my boyfriend.
I woke up around 5am and was so thirsty I got up and went downstairs for a drink of water.
I felt some hands slide around my waist and my hair was lifted up and my neck was being kissed. I assumed it was my boyfriend but then I realised this person had more stubble on his chin.
I turned around and it was my boyfriend’s granddad. I was amazed that he was such a good kisser. We went over to the sofa and he undid my dressing gown and made love to me.
It all felt so thrilling we’ve met three times since just for the sex. But sometimes it’s been unprotected – stupid, I know – and now I’m pregnant I don’t know who the father is.
I really do love my boyfriend. Is it best just to pretend it’s his? I know I’d be lying to him but it would break his heart".

kadarva: I HAVE BEEN MARRIED TO A NIGERIAN MAN FOR NEARLY 8 YEARS (I AM TURKISH BUT  BORN AND BRED IN BELGIUM) AND WE HAVE 2 LOVELY KIDS,   WE ARE QUITE HAPPY TOGETHER AND LOVE EACH OTHER VERY MUCH

HOWEVER I HAVE A COUPLE OF ISSUES WITH HIS FAMILY THAT LIVES IN NIGERIA, (WE LIVE IN THE UK)  THEY ASK FOR MONEY TOO MUCH,  THEY RELY ON MY HUSBAND TOO MUCH FOR MONEY AND I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT NO MORE

I ONLY WORK PARTTIME AND MY HUSBAND WORKS 6 DAYS A WEEK,  HE LITERIAL LY WORKS HIS SOCKS OF. WE HARDLY GET TO SEE EACH OTHER,  WE HAVE GOT BILLS TO PAY AND ARE JUST MANGAGING  OUR BILLS,   WE HARDLY GO ON HOLIDAY AND ITS JUST NOT FAIR,  ALL BECAUSE HE IS SUPPORTING GROWN UP PEOPLE

HIS MUM WAS HERE A MONTH AGO AND IT WAS JUST A NIGHTMARE,   I TOOK HER SHOPPING SOMETIMES AND SHE WOULD JUST PUT EVERYTHING IN TROLLEY AND IT GOT TO A POINT THAT MY HUSBAND STOPPED ME FROM SHOPPING WITH HER,  I PAID FOR HER EYETEST AND GAVE HER A LOT OF CLOTHES AND MUCH MORE,  IT WAS HER FIRST TIME IN THE UK AND SHE HAD NEVER SEEN HER GRANKDKIDS

SHE WASN'T EVEN EN INTERESTED TO PLAY WITH THEM THE ONLY THING SHE WANTED TO DO IS SIT DOWN AND WATCH NOLLYWOOD OR GO SHOPPING AND SPEND OUR MONEY,  SHE WOULDN'T DO ANY HOUSEWORK OR COOKING EVEN THOUGH SHE KNOWS I DON'T KNOW HOW TO COOK NIGERIAN FOOD,

AND WHEN WE DROPPED HER OFF AT THE AIRPORT SHE DID NOT EVEN SAY GOODBYE TO ME AND THE  KIDS,  SHE JUST WALKED OF WITH MY HUSBAND AND SAID BYE WITHOUTH LOOKING AT US

IS THIS NORMAL IN YORUBA CULTURE?
kadarva: Update: I have decided to divorce my husband due to cultural differences....I just cannot live with somebody that sends all his wages to his family and let me and the kids suffer. My husband is not happy this but I have already made my decision.
So i guess its time for you to go and get free council house and let the government starts paying you child care since you work part time and don't have enough money for holidays. You dont even have to work again and its much more easier, more money and less stress than depending on your husband.i guess you envy your full time mum friends that sponges off the government who has enough money to go on holidays. Typical to always blame Nigerian Men. I have heard stories from people like you. who blame everything on Nigerians. Even women who never dated or married Nigerian men still blame their marital problem on Nigerian men. Mayb if you got off your butt and worked full time and support the guy who has to pay house rent, your kids and all other bills for you than you doing part time, thing might have been easier.

I made Green Mouse Tech stand out today bc of my web design skills. I will not say how much i make monthly here but i know am better than many bankers.

I have achieved alot in a very short time, Thanks to God Almighty.
You have issues with bankers or are they meant to be more successful than any other career ?

xxhoney: Hi all, who has a trading system, strategy, or trick that can fetch me $50-$100 DAILY with a start up capital of $200? It could be on betonmarket, casino, gold trading or any other stuff but not forex. I dont entertain any hungry person responding to my post with the hope of ripping me off rather, i will prefer a well to do person that just wants to help me out and not because of the money. Of course someone making $100 daily may not even be willing to expose his or her secret out for even 30k thats why i say u would be doing me a huge favour & helping me out regardless the money and i will really appreciate. I want a NO RISK system. if ur system works 70% dont bother replying me cos I hate risks. I want a system that works 100% NO RISK I have been through alot of systems & lost so much money from casinos, betonmarket, hyip's etc & im done risking. I know alot of strategies on these so if u dont have a unique strategy, dont bother replying. i already have a funded mastercard so we can have a one on one demonstration and that day you will make $50 in my prescence with my capital. A week after I have traded successfully, I will pay the balance of N10,000. its my idea so dont come asking for N30,000 the N10,000 is just a show of appreciation. If you have an intention of scamming, DONT BOTHER REPLYING THIS POST. I have my reasons for saying that, so you dont regret it. you can respond here by dropping your email or phone number cos I know if i drop mine, alot of people will start sending me useless messages on forex, blogging, adsense, referral, mlm & the rest. im not interested in those.
erm you do know trading money is risky. if you looking for 100% no risk, keep it in the bank

Ralvy: Block My PC From Visiting Sites

Hello Nairalanders,

I got a mail from a member in the forum saying he wants to block his computer from visiting some sites, and so I decided to post the procedures incase anyone needs similar asssistance,

Get to System32 on your windows system.
For ease paste this into the address bar of an open windows on your computer provided Windows is installed on Drive C.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc (without quotes)

See "PIC1" for assistance*

Find the file "hosts" and remove the read-only attribute*

See "PIC2"

Apply and click ok to save*

Open the file with notepad,
Scrol to the bottom.

Put this number "127.0.0.1"
Give spaces and type in the website address

See "PIC3"

After this, Select Save

Don't forget to apply the read-only attribute.

Good Luck

dejia: Thanks for the info ;

guys,
Can u recommend a very reliable anti virus? I run an internet cafe with a good traffic, i have tried Panda,e-scan,norton,avg,kaspersky,symantec,nod32, they all failed after 1 or 2 months.
what can u recommend?
What do you mean all failed? There is no such thing as 100% security. Viruses will always find their way through unless you lock down sites which i am sure you wont want to do. I use kapersky at work but sometimes viruses find thier way through and i use the trial version of Malwaybyte to find it. That is very good but its only a free trial available. you can contact them if you want to buy and deploy to your workstations
