why are you guys arguing over this? you already have the solution but you guys just enjoy arguing. |
i dont understand how people are blaming Nairaland for sending spam mails. Its the same as linkedin when i get an e-mail from someone impersonating linkedin and i should click this website or so. If your e-mail address is showing nairaland post. check it properly, you must have published your email address during on of the post. Maybe from topic where you want a member to forward you a document or program and you post your e-mail address online.Nairaland is a public forum and everything you write here is visible to the world. As for the issue of closing account. I think you need to be patience with seun why he works on that.he might roll out another update soon.In the mean time, you can just change your email address on nairaland to another which you don't use or click on spam whenever you get a message from nairaland and it wont be in your inbox |
AjanleKoko: NB,I disagree with your first sentence. Your sentence about cheap labour is also funny. Just so you know, that not cheap labour, that's slavery. if you can pay 3 people under 100k. How do you expect them to feed their family? Of course, it not your business |
This would be nice. Cant wait to see it. I hope babalawos wont apply ooooo |
naijababe: Sorry to break it to you, he didn't really taste both sides of the world. I am not really interested in going back and forth but the truth is that living as a middle/upper middle class in the UK is miles ahead of living the same in Nigeria. What the heck is wrong with washing your own car, or carrying your own luggage? I desire to return to live in Nigeria purely based on sentiment rather than logic. Some People in Nigeria love to be worshiped. They enjoy the pride in being better than their fellow humans because they have more money than them so they can talk anyhow. As long as they get that, they feel their quality of life is better. |
fankasibe: Let me explain the headline ![]() |
yamakuza: computers/programming sections nashould have been specific. i meant like Network admin forum. where IT support, Engineers,Cisco,Vmware, citrix,Cloud computing and thing like that are discussed only. its hard scrolling around to find this topics.is it not enough to have its own section? |
justwise: Bros that is different, company owner can earn that much but ordinary cleaner can not.I agree. |
Fhemmmy: I am not in UK oh, i am just going by the data that someone pull out that cleaners in the UK are making average of 21K Pounds . . .Yea its possible. i know someone who earns around that and he is a cleaner. The difference is he has his own company. He get the contracts he will do the job by himself |
ludasam222: shay na de same moni dem dey collect,in europe u are paid in pounds and in naija in naira...Nice question |
ogaemma: Was Kanye West not famous b4 he used his mother for blood money? Lets keep our fingers cross, someday the truth will be revealed. Is no news again, they are deep down with the illuminati.are you for real? why are you reasoning this way? so u believe he used his mum for blood money. Are you saying every successful person in this world has something to do with illunimati? |
No section for IT at all? |
i might suggest you check what you can bring and the quantity on immigration website or so.Things like crayfish or other meat stuff are something that might cause questioning .i never took food stuffs but watching all this immigration TV stuff, i see they ask too many question when animal stuff are being brought through. |
RuuDie: Una wait first. Before we all kill ourselves, there needs to be a consensus. . .which is the most predominant cause of accidents - state of the roads or over-speeding!!?Good question |
well i typed mine and it did not appear. Maybe you have exposed your e-mail address once on Nairaland |
Thats what you get when you have fucktards running your Country. Cut and join measures.. If we had a comprehensive database, there would be no need for this foolishness called LASTMA.. All they would do is simply take down your number, and arrest you from the comfort of your living room... These LASTMA touts and other state touts can be very over-zealous in the dispensation of their functions... Its sad he is dead, but I feel no mercy for him...
Word. Spot on. |
See why Nigerian has problems. No one is condemning the driver that drove against traffic. This guy died trying to enforce the law and see how people are insulting him. He was chasing a criminal and you all sit be hide computers to insult him. You guys are pathetic |
maigida231: Acidosis pls u have better enemies to use ur combant superior energy forode.Fool at the highest level. What the hell do you know apart from guns? foool |
maigida231: Acidosis pls u have better enemies to use ur combant superior energy forOde . |
Acidosis: we have hoodlums, hoologans like this in Lagos, but Mr Governor is arresting the same people that are fighting the hooligans like you.Oh now i see why you are annoyed with Fashola. |
WTF this guys have reached lagos? ![]() |
Idokojimmy: That gies to show that no one ois above the law. The rule of law is sacrosanct in all democratic system. Others should emulate this Gov.Nigeria has always been a lawless country so when a Governor is trying to do the right thing. Some a..a..s..h...o..l..e..s would complain. Some people are not used to enforcing the law in Nigeria so you cant blame them. They are used to being oppressed by others so in their eyes, Fashola did the wrong thing or it is beef with soldiers. A whole Governor did not use BRT lane. Military i-d--iot did and was stopped and some dumb as..ses are complaining |
i dont know who she is. i just searched for her name and its shows the picture the posters kept on this topic was from her music videos. Come on Man. |
Nigerians and this illu stuff |
MRbrownJAY: is the guy really a "billionaire" in £, $ or € ?! meaning wealth of over 1000 millions in any of these currency?!Money he worked for all his life. He should give away part of it? Haaa. Never. One stupid woman would now want to have £21M because of marriage and kids. What right does she have for her to be entitled to even £1M? Marriage? so i will continue to work while she will continue take my money and cruising about.. This rubbish law would be removed one day. Its ridiculous. |
lukkie: I used to think some Nigerians have sand in their skulls. I seem to be confirming it on this topic. What Fashola did was perfect but i'm shocked to see some brain.less low-life Nigerians condemning it here.word. Some Nigerians are used to oppression. They believe there are other human beings that are better than them so they feel they can do what they like and wont complain. Fashola was not using the BRT lane, he was queuing in the traffic also. You cant blame them the people complaining abt Fashola. They have been oppressed all their life |
pDude: Seun, your website these days is so dead right now. many people have left, the topic are such a drag, your mods suckass and the whole website is a ghost of its former self. i was once addicted to this site but nowadays, i just log in like once a week to see if there is any breaking news.Bad belle. Hater |
fulfillment2020: Dear Nairalanders,Typical fabricated story. Please advise me, i am confused.. rubbish |
Bros... How much is radar gun wey you wan use the money fix road?!
Radar gun cost about £1,280 for one. I just checked it online so how many was bought? we don't even know |
nwanna89: I agree with you about the road signs. But FRSC does not fix roads. Curbing overspeeding on our roads will help reduce the accidents on our already bad roads.Dont get me wrong.i am not blaming FRSC. FRSC is doing their own job.Everyone in every organization will always try and bid to get the equipment they need to be better or to be the best. But thiere are other departments that need to get do their own jobs before this. To be honest,i dont even know who to blame as the chain of command in Nigeria is not even transparent. My own is the basics things have not been sorted out first before this radar guns. There are lots of policies the government need to put in place and make it known to everybody.Road signs need to be visible well and should be obvious. Not with other billboards. i dont know which department handles that.Bad roads needs to be fix. I am not angry with FRSC. they are doing their job but there is someone higher than FRSC that needs a kick in the butt. is it the minister of transportation or road minister (i dont even know which name they give themselves). the only thing i have heard most of the time is awarding contract and buying stuff. No one is bringing out policies for people to enforce. The policies that i still respect which is enforced on the road is the BRT lane although some people still try and break the law but they get busted most times and the reason why they try it in broad daylight is because they feel the arm of the law is not strong. Hence the reason why i said policies should be made and enforced and the whole community should know abt it |
manny4life: Talk about misplaced priorities. That is it. the money they spent in getting those radar guns or "equipment to check over speeding"like they said would have been useful to put the roads back in shape. How many good roads are there in Nigeria? How many road signs and speed limits are there. I remembered one day when i was driving in Nigeria and one guy stopped me to tell me i was going in the wrong direction(one way). I told him to show me the sign that says so. Men, if you see where this guys kept the sign, i was laughing at the officer who stopped me. It was hidden, hiding among other posters and billboards, faded, besides someone's house, i could go on for hours. How do they expect people to see that? No good policies in place. I remember when they awarded one contract to one company to fix roads, these guys were selling the cements meant to be used for the roads and they were mixing it with sand.why wont we have pot-holes.Those shits are dangerous on the motorways. In Nigeria, you get drivers licence without even learning to drive from a driving school. why wont there be problems on the road when the driver has no knowledge of the road rather that his own idea. Nobody is checking the reason why we have bad roads and bad drivers in Nigeria.its "equipment to check over-speeding" they are after. Developed countries made their roads safe first before chasing guys who break speed rules. |
is cloud technology being used in most companies in Nigeria? I mean used for data backup. if it is, how efficient is it? i mean in regards to bandwidth issue which i feel might be the problem using the product in Nigeria. Are banks using and what do IT administrators in Nigeria think about it? |
