But its participation is limited to taking records, admitting exhibits into evidence, listening to witnesses as they give their testimony and most importantly watching the demeanour of a witness in order to form an opinion of that witness-whether to believe or not to believe the witnesses
If the witnesses against kanu are to be masked it prevents the court from making such an opinion. Therefore His Lordship was right when he declined the application. And as a minister in the temple of justice I'll say: As the court pleases.

What the Efcc has done in my opinion will if not checked be frequently resorted to to intimidate and oppress citizens...what is applicable and the right practice should be investigation first. Then arrest. Not arrest before investigation. If the Efcc has any stfong evidence, charge him to court. Don't detain him until you have evidence.

But unfortunately we are in Nigeria.....

Sorry about that. You should be more careful in your home, you should not make him feel odd about the scenario especially your wife. Don't try to be suddenly over nice to him or over harsh. Just keep living normally as you used to but I cant promise u that the picture will erase easily from his head but as they grow, teach them the rules of life and what it takes to grow in the fear of God.
