Don't let them photograph or video you off guard. Otherwise you may be used as a traffic bait. It's time they start jailing them for misrepresentation.

factoring in the value of the naira it flips up, hence you have not been seeing toothpick factories everywhere,The problem is you cant buy from the manufacturers direct as they sell container load so that leaves you to the retailers who sell twice the price you see advertised on the companies website.
Thanks brother for the insight. I appreciate your help.

you would need at least N15 million to start up, you will need to buy up to 10 machines
Interesting. I have been seeing some cheap, small made in China machines. That couldn't cost more than a few millions. I thought those would work. Perhaps the quality of the toothpicks peosuced may not be so high.

that small thing called toothpick requires almost 10 machines to produce one stick, it's not a business that makes profit easy hence people shy away from it.U need xtreem low overhead to make it work.
Really? Do you have experience in toothpick manufacturing? Because I have been dreaming of opening a toothpick plant.

The Oyibos are just relieved that the elections were relatively peaceful. Who wants war in Nigeria? Moreover, the kind of election rigging we do in Nigeria is unimaginable. A sane person, from a sane clime will not understand.

Originakalokalo:
OK.

I know this ploy....

Flaunt wealth in their faces and cause them to seek wealth in ways unimaginable.

A man who kills his fellow man for rituals looks for wealth from the devil....

The devil can actually give him

Wealth without him killing a day-old baby. He could request for an animal or something....

But he wants the seeker of wealth to do what will make God turns from his throne... What will make the anger of God to burn heavily... e.g....pounding a child in a mortal...

Be contented with what you have and pray for God's blessings.... and most importantly,

WAIT.

Many seek wealth and then are not mature enough for it... It will turn their hearts away from God... More like a child crying to use a blade simply because he sees others use it.

Above all,

Rest in Peace is what we say after someone dies... We don't remember to count their Bentley and Range Rovers...

Life is worth more..... Are you saved from the dangers of hell?

Accept Jesus Christ today as your lord and Savior... He promises us eternal life..... No one can have that without him.
Well said friend. Without Jesus life is vain. Jesus gives life meaning. John 3:36, "The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him."

It all depends on what dating means to you. I am actually talking from a Christian perspective. You can always have a healthy relationship with any member of the opposite sex. But dating is a different case...

So I met this beautiful lady who wouldn't date any guy if marriage isn't guaranteed within or after 6 months. Her decision was admirable. However, I feel that's a very tough task to place on oneself. I was invited to her church only to hear the pastor saying the same thing. What are your thoughts people?
PS: I am not criticizing the decision I just find it strange!!
My kind of woman. Truth is that if she is good and you love her enough, you can hardly wait to make her yours. By the way, you have no business dating if you are not ready and prepared for marriage.

One thing I've come to notice about Nigeria and Nigerians is the absence of shame. We no get shame for this country..
Gbam! If it were in sane climes, that INEC chairman would have resigned a long time ago. But not in Nigeria. It's business as usual. A whole "Professor" cannot use the resources at his disposal to make accurate forecasts... Using weather and arson as excuses. And the president of the nation is not e en calling for resignation... No shame at all.

These are friendly python and different from boa

The rate at which we kill them these days, their population will soon be threatened. Lets learn to live peacefully with these beautiful snakes. They don't bite to attack and to defend. They only swallow small animals
If you keep your cool, a human - python cohabitation is very possible.

Even the cobra self they only bite to defend
Because i dey reason am why he be say if snake come meet us for house them nor dey harm us. Sometimes self you fit live with snake for two years inside house them nor go do you anything

There is no way you can be bitten by a snake in a residential building
Which means they respect us
So lets learn how to respect them
Please lets learn to live and stay with this beautiful creature called snake
I guess you didn't read the part about the python terrorizing the community. You didn't read that it has been killing dogs and chickens. Maybe they community should have waited until it started eating their children.

yes, we supplied seeds to rivers and osun States last week, anytime u are ready to learn I will get u attached to eagle foods ltd,if u stay 1 week with them u will know everything, they operate the biggest cucumber farms in the east with production of 100-150 bags every 4 days, real farmers don't have time for seminars its only e-farmers that collect money from people to teach them what supposed to be free, there's one that is telling people to pay to teach them how to harvest 1000 fruits on 12feet by 6 feet land,HAAAAAAAHAaaaa,oh my GOD,if he can get 12,bags(75,000k now)from that small piece of land he will not have time to beg folks to pay 3,000k for training.
Thanks boss. I was even considering going to Lagos for the seminar you mentioned above. Thank God for using you to give me this opportunity of learning from real farmers. I will PM you so that we can firm up the arrangements. I plan taking a week off work anytime from next week.

the ngwa people are famous farmers with super fertile land,I will be surprised if there is no cucumber farmer in ngwaland, they even have a variety of local cucumber named after then NGWALARGE.so look closely around you u will find a cucumber farm.
Invariably there should be cucumber farms in and around Aba. But most cucumber farms I have come across are not something I would like to emulate. Other farmers may be in the hinterlands of Ngwa land. I don't have access to those areas. Moreover, nothing like learning from an upto date farmer who is constantly improving.
I also believe that you have an outfit that sells hybrid seeds?

our main mega project this year will be 1 acre of green garden egg,we did a test run last year with 700 stands on 1 and half plots the yield was good and the production ran from June to October total 4-5 months,we have transplanted into single grow bags and managing it carefully ,the target is to start harvesting during Easter peak period,a BUA sugar bag of garden egg is selling for #14,000k now,by Easter it will be hovering at #12,000k,it will be interesting if we can replicate the results from the test run then we will see yields of 15-20 bags every 4 days.
Sir, I live in Aba. I an intersted in vegetable farming, especially cucumber. But I don't want to reinvent the wheel while farming. I want to know the possibility of having a paid field training on cucumber farming?

Honestly, something may be wrong with your wife. Unless you married a minor. She should be able to correct herself (after making same mistakes severally) and do the right thing. For goodness sake, we are talking about a safety issue here. If she is not doing it on purpose, then something is wrong with her. You really have to observe her more and pray for her. And you may also need to take her to a Christian counselor/psychologist. She is your wife love and cherish her more...that may do the trick.

kufre2010:
WHY NDIGBO SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT PRESIDENT BUHARI (Short Story )

1. AS we prepare for the general elections in few weeks time , i want to take my igbo brothers back to little piece of history. As we prepare to go to the polls i would like to reflect on an event that happened in
1985.

2. IN 1983 the Secretary general of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) DR Edem Kodjo of Togo stepped down prematurely and he was replaced by an alumni of UNN An Igbo man called DR PETER ONU as acting Secretary general.

3. Dr peter Onu was a Nigerian diplomat and philanthropist. He served as an ambassador to Germany.
He was a very brilliant man who was well respected and became friends to the legendary Dr Julius Mwalimu Nyerere of Tanzania

4. In 1985 it was time for an official secretary general of the OAU and most African leaders who were very confident in Dr Peter Onu leadership wanted to vote him to become the secretary General Of OAU.

What happened Next was very shocking to most African leaders

6. What happened was captured in Ibrahim Daggash book called OAU: Fictions and fact.

The book reads

@ I remember in 1985 at African Hall we were campaigning for Dr Peter Onu of Nigeria to be Made the OAU Secretary general.

We learnt that the Head of State of Nigeria General M. Buhari was supporting
another candidate IDI OMARO from Niger republic

7. We were shocked so we mobilized a team to meet with him,
The team was lead by the very popular Julius Nyerere from Tanzania and other African leaders.

8. When we approached him Julius Nyerere begged him:

“Please give us Peter Onu from your country!’

Gen Buhari refused and even got very annoyed with us . What was surprising was that , when the result emerged and the winner was Niger’s Candidate IDI OMARO a Muslim .

General Buhari rejoiced to such a degree that he was unable to control his emotions. That was a moment I witnessed and was convinced that General Buhari would not last long as a leader.” –

9. With that single act General Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria became the only president in History to vote against his own country.

He couldn't bear the thought of an Igbo man heading the OAU so he voted for Niger republic instead

10. Never in the History of Nigeria have we ever had a President that showed Openly his disdain for Ndigbo and
what they stand for. If any Igbo man tells you 4+4. Show them this article

MICHAEL NDU-OKEKE
INFORMATION HUB GROUP
Maybe the man from Niger was Buhari's pal. And don't forget that the man Buhari is a core Muslim. Wasn't he among those that were pushing for sharia in Nigeria then? I don't see him supporting a Christian over a Muslim. It may not necessarily be his disdain for igbos that made him take that decision. That is if your narrative is accurate in the first place.
