Queenlovely: Do you know what it means to be under pressure as a Nigerian youth?
We are in a society that worships money. Nobody will listen to you if you are poor.
Inshort anybody can talk to you as they like, your Junior ones must be present before a meeting starts because he has money.
Once you are 30 years and poor, The invisible pressure is there, society expects you to do something, Unfortunately some goes into crime. Money must be made is our motto
The politicians are the perfect example these youths use as an example,
You should put yourself in the shoes of these criminals first, They have Junior ones, they want to prove themselves to families and friends.
One day when you don't know where your next meal will come from, when hunger will be a constant companion, Crime is the only way out in this country for such youths Common keep kwayet.... You should be very ashamed of yourself, don't worry you will soon end like them, yours might be jungle justice, continue promoting crime and keep robbing..enjoy your time while it lasts |

Earlier these month, great opportunity showed up, I was to assembly foreign equipment for one big politician in my state. The architect that got the contract contacted me as an engineer, we went to the site, take the measurement, ready to kick start the work. Danhoys: I thought I knew what dirtiness was until my cousin's sister started living with us. We gave her a room, a roof over her head until she finds her bearing.
She's an orphan, almost going to 28 years, and sells food on Sundays for cash.
But, looking at her, she's the replica of the word 'unappealing.'
Her hair is always shabby, dirty, and she never attempt to even braid it to keep it in order. Black is beautiful, but hers comes in brown patches and acne.
She doesn't even care.
We have a water closet, and she's ready to keep popping without an attempt to flush. The last time I traveled and left the home for a week, the toilet was beyond what I could comprehend.
To the point I had to do renovation, repainted the wall, and had to hire a cleaner to help wash the toilet thoroughly.
I couldn't risk catching a disease doing it myself. That was how bad it was.
After doing all these, she stopped using the toilet, but would prefer to pop in the compound with a black nylon at night.
Sometimes, she even forget to throw them away. I had woke up very early in the morning. Saw her bucket and wanted to use it, what I saw changed my day.
I saw her feces, and since then I vowed never to touched a bucket that is isn't mine.
Aside from her protruding stomach which she does little to hide, the wrapper she wears every evening have never seen water in months.
Women are supposed to be conscious of their unclothedness, but not this cousin of mine.
She can avoid all the bathrooms, and choose to bathe outside in the open at night.
Like, around 8 to 9 pm when everyone is still very much awake.
Sometimes children will bump in on her unintentionally, and the kid will run away traumatized by what he or she have seen.
I dare not go into details to recount how she prepares the food she sales, and how dirty her coolers and kitchen utensils can swim with maggots for 6 days before she finally washes them on Saturday and prepares food on Sunday for her esteemed customers.
She's not beautiful facially, nor wear makeup or earrings since it's against her belief.
Doesn't wear clothes that suit her. If she dresses like an mbeke, that wouldn't be a problem. I just don't understand her dressing at all, coupled with her dirty look.
When it comes to religion, hers is the worse, jumping from one church to the other. And worse, we hardly sleepy at midnight.
She is always in battle with demons, with her speaking of tongues that don't just sound ridiculous, but deafening and irritating.
She's just 28, and I doubt if any man has ever stopped her on the road, and I still suspect she have never laid with a man before.
She's not mentally unstable if that is what most of you might think.
She's lively, knows how to joke and hold conversations like we all do. But when it comes to her body, grooming, overall cleaningness, she's zero.
There are grades of dirtiness, but when it comes to a stage where someone now dines and wines with feces, then there is a problem somewhere.
She's shapeless and doesn't want to do anything about it despite my numerous advise. She eats junk, like...
She runs to the backyard, gets some vegetables and fry it up with some concoctions and food is ready.
I know all their foods, and the things she cooks is nothing less than a concoction. I've eat her food once and my stomach testified.
A thoroughly analysis of her personality fascinates me to some extent. Is this her personality? Something that is genetically engineered into her that she has no control over?
Can she change?
Do you think I can help her, how? I can't even advice you because she's way older than you, she may/will see it as an insult.... but just try this one tho, try taking all those her dirty linens and burn them to ashes, while you get her new once, then if you have time, you can always suggest a group washing/home cleaning on weekly basis, it can be any day of the week, then you just have to kill this kinda fellows with the truth, advice her to take her bath regularly, and to always smell nice (perfumes) so as to attract more customers.... perhaps with time she might adjust!! But if you have tried all this and it didn't workout, then maybe you just have to settle her with a separate apartment(room) where she has to put up with mama sikira |

LoveUdie: By Fredrick Nwabufo The idea of having a near-perfect country out of a ruptured Nigeria is illusory. The composite parts of the country each contribute to the miasma of confusion that Nigeria is. No single entity is responsible for Nigeria’s problems. All the ethnic nationalities are equal shareholders in the failing of the Nigerian enterprise. There is enough blame to go around.
Splintering the entity has often been exalted as the remedy to Nigeria’s problems. But this is a defective reasoning because in this instance, Nigeria is defined by its geography and not its people. Nigeria is its people. It is the same people that will occupy the emergent states not angels. There is no paradise anywhere. The problem with Nigeria is a people-problem. Recalibrating the map will not change anything – if the minds of the people do not conform to progressive values.
The assumption that there will be ‘’divine concordance’’ if Nigeria breaks up according to regional lines is obtuse. That a people speak a common language does not put a stamp of camaraderie on group relationship. In the south-east for instance, there is native discrimination among people of the same region. Some are regarded as ‘’impure Igbo breeds’’ while others consider themselves as ‘’true Igbo scions’’.
There are areas sons of certain states are advised not to tread in search of love. Also, it is quotidian among the Igbo to describe people from certain areas in Ebonyi with the pejorative of ‘’wah awah’’ – ‘’impure breeds’’. And there is a deep gulf among classes on the social ladder in the region.
So, what will change if, for example, there is a south-east state as some are campaigning for? Will the present social order be inverted? Will the internecine hate and wrangling dissipate? Well, for sure I think the current revulsion that some have for the entity ‘’Nigeria’’ will be reserved for the emergent state. Elite corruption and abuse will still dominate the polity because the new order will be from the same predatory gene-pool. Non-ethnic predation will give way for ethnic predation because at the end of day class struggle is not resolved by the unity of language, religion or culture. There is a classic example of a country in Africa steeped in economic and civil crisis after breaking away from the motherboard. The case of oil-rich South-Sudan rings a familiar bell.
Today, South-Sudan is one of the poorest countries on the surface of the earth despite its oil wealth. All the hoopla and gyrations that followed the country’s severance from Sudan soon gave way for tears, sorrow and blood.
As of 2019, 400,000 citizens have been killed in the South-Sudan crisis. Four million refugees created and 1.8 million people internally displaced. The cause of these tragedies boils down to power struggle among the elite who quickly mobilised themselves behind the emergent state to capture power.
A country fabled to be a lodestar in Africa and which was to be a compelling argument for splintering ‘’artificially created’’ states on the continent is now a functional example of why breaking up countries in Africa is not expedient. An often parroted argument for Nigeria’s dissolution is that the country is an inorganic fabrication of the British. True, but so are many countries on the planet, yet they are thriving and working according to a common purpose.
Most countries in the world were created by accidents of history. It is nearly impossible to find a homogenous country. The problem with Nigeria, as we all know, is that we are yet to have a people’s leadership or as Chinua Achebe puts it, a leader “humbled by the trust placed on him by the people’’ and ‘’willing to use the power given to him for the good of the people’’.
We are stronger together. This is not a platitude but a fact. 90 percent of the wealth of the Igbo is not warehoused in the south-east. The Igbo are a peripatetic people gifted with extraordinary entrepreneurial abilities. They are among the most financially fortunate Nigerians. Nigeria and beyond are their trading arcade. They are in every nook, cranny and crevices in the country. It is unarguable that a united Nigeria is a more viable emporium for the Igbo than a fragmented Nigeria. It will not be the same for the business-minded Igbo with new states emerging from the wreck of Nigeria – the emergent states will certainly want to put up hedges that will protect their own people against outsiders. Where does that leave Chukwuma who has billions of naira worth of investments doting the north and the south-west?
The same theory applies to the north of which economy thrives on agriculture. Nigeria with its bubbling population is a consumer paradise for the agricultural produce of the north. In addition, there are bountiful benefits for the north from Nigeria’s oil wealth.
The south-west as well cannot subsist as an island. It needs the commerce of the Igbo, the endowments of the north, and rich cultural and material resources of other groups to blossom. We need each other.
Our diversity should count for something. It should be our strength. We will be the biggest losers if the Nigerian enterprise is liquidated. We must make Nigeria work. Silly post....so in that case we should all chill and get killed by the Fulani marauders, how many people can boost of maximum protection of lives and property up North?? Or you think Igbos don't have back up plans?? The North will surely be the biggest loser's, because their level of backwardness is comparable to non, so my friend go and sleep and stop worrying yourself about the Igbos, there is a popular song back then in the early 2000's "when there is life oO, there is hope" |

Killertune20: Having dated for about 3 years, early this year, we had an altercation, I believe the distance between us caused it cause I moved to a different state.
Late last year she told me about a young pastor who's asking for her hand in marriage, I asked about her stance and she said she didn't see it happening, but 2 weeks after the altercation, she told me she is considering the pastor.
Ever since then, I have tried to move on but I can't, this babe ticks all the boxes for me, for more than 3 years cause we started dating in school while I was in 300L and she 200L, It's been like no other girl existed in the world for me.
Now the usual gimmick "the lord said you are my wife" has cost me something I value so much.
I love this babe with all my heart, now the things I do around her, like forced chats, unreplied messages gets to me, create a pinch on my ego and in a way emasculates me. It feels like she has moved on but I can't.
Now my question, how do people get over people so easily?
Have you ever met someone and felt like she was the one and it ended?
Has anyone been in my shoes and how did you move on?
The happily ever after I dreamt of has become a night mare. Oga the best thing I will advice you is to forget about her and move on with developing yourself the more, a better lady meant for you will locate you....!! My Gf broke up with me just before the lockdown last year, it was very difficult for me at first, This was someone I thought was my one and only, I lost 6kg under 3days, I hardly eat, because the cause of the break up was a minor thing that escalated to a very large problem, But I moved on quickly when she told me and I quote "Are mine the only girl in this world?? why are mine too obsessed with her" kai....this statement pained me to my bone marrow, I quickly initiated the no contact rule, for once I never updated anything on my whatsapps status giving clues to anyone that we broke up, but she was indirectly throwing jabs at me on her whatsapps status, I will purposely read and ignore...at some point, I made myself unavailable by getting too engaged in my hustle, within a short while I found myself not connecting with her emotionally anymore unlike before....I decided to give a girl lurking around a chance, now I can categorically tell you she's way too nice, focused and intelligent than my ex, I was so blinded not to have noticed her ever since, right now I'm a happy guy....Now my ex is doing everything possible to get me back, I told her pump and plain, once I stop dating you, you can't even be my friend talkless of possibilities of coming back together, The guy she left me for dumped her ass after flogging her with his preeq, I treat her like a stranger now because she called for it.... So bro just move on no matter what, I can guarantee you the relationship won't be the same even if you get her back, I usually tell any girl I'm dating "if at all you ever be in a situation where you have to pick between me and someone else, please don't chose me" I cannot be an option in someone's life.....!! |

Send her a powerful emotional text, make u sure in the text u talked about the good moments you guys shared and don't forget to remind her the first day you met her, how you felt and what you said in your heart before you approached her(you can lie and tell her u saw the real woman that can be d best wife in her) then you tell her that's why you groomed the relationship for these years.
After sending her this powerful message, make sure you end it with its so sad it ended this way but she should know this the last she ever hear from you.
