@op, I'm not in support of domestic violence no matter the gender going through such situation, so I would suggest you call for general family meeting and resolve this issue on ground. And if your brother's wife continues with the violence, then he has no option than to end that marriage before someone commits murder.

Most Nigerians do not pay income tax to the federal and state governments because most Nigerians work in the informal sector.

State police works in a place where everyone pays some form of tax to the state government. Not in Nigeria where less than 30% of the economically active populaiton pays a tax, and where our tax to gdp ratio is 8.1%

Unless we are expecting government to take another loan, or we remove subsidy from petrol...no money for state police.

Honestly, the way we Nigerians talk...it gets annoying. Like the time Buhari was talking about N40 petrol without talking about how much it would cost our economy to guarantee that, or the time tinubu talks about agriculture...without talking about the actual reforms and cost needed to get there.

State police is necessary. But the problem is, Nigerians don't like paying for anything. Yes, it is true. And the only way you can adequately fund state police so that they won't run at the first sound of gunshot...is by taxing every economically active person in each and every state...at a high rate. That is how USA does it. Not by selling oil and sharing the money...taxation on all.

Has any state governor done so? No. Our tax uptake is still poor.

So tell me, which state is going to find money for the state police...or are they going to take another loan? I guess they want to take another loan.

In 2019, Peter Obi deputized Atiku Abubakar, who is PDP's presidential candidate today.

He went to the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT telling Nigerians that cared to listen that he was Atiku's follower because Atiku was the most competent to move the country forward.

Why Peter Obi who was Atiku's right hand man in 2019 is contesting against the same Atiku in 2022 is because of internal party politics.

In 2019, the two biggest parties in Africa - APC and PDP agreed that their candidates should come from the Northern Part of the country.

Obi had to support PDPs flag bearer from the North and Tinubu was left with no other option than to support his party's (APC) candidate from the North.

As at January 2022, both Parties (PDP and APC) agreed that their candidates should come from the Southern Part of the country. Atiku was still in Dubai.

It is basic knowledge that the southern part of the country that supports APC is the South West while the South South and South East are PDP.

APC delegates returned:

Bola Tinubu, Rotimi Amaechi, and Yemi Osinbajo (all from the Southern Part of the country) as 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively. APC kept their promise .

Towards the end of May, 2022, PDP delegates returned a Northerner, Atiku Abubakar, as their candidate.

Peter Obi left PDP in May 2022, the week the primaries was to be conducted, because PDP did not keep their promise.


PDP treated those from the South East badly because they deserved the ticket. Fvck the "good man" propaganda, as at May 15th 2022, Peter Obi was visiting PDP big wigs across the country to consult for his primaries.

Igbos are a major ethnic group in the country. Igbos deserve to rule Nigeria. The last time South Easterner ruled the country, Peter Obi was just 5. The common consciousness of not getting that topmost seat of power creates a consciousness in an average Easterner.

The problem is that they hate APC instead of PDP and if they were not to vote for Labour Party today, they'd throw their votes for PDP.


APC are honest!

APC gave their first to the North West

Then to the South West.

If APC retains power:

The next will be to the North East

Then to the South East (if they play their cards well).
