No. They should change our education system. Corruption has dealt with Nigerian education system so much that students don't have a voice and no amount of money fed.gov put into the system yield results. Fed.gov will give the universities money for research,for infrastructure,but vc's will connive with lecturers shared the money and drive big cars.
Let's be realistic here,and lets leave politics aside. Go to other countries you'll see nothing much is to education sector as to health sector,yet their education system is working. Why? They have a system that employs foreign teachers,they have a system that fight corruption in each institution and the students has voice. Employing people outside boost academic morale, competition and makes the job serious. In Nigeria student don't have voice, lecturers do whatever they can because of corruption and the government doesn't give attention. It's not just giving the money then relax it's settle, tomorrow they'll still be another strike,the government needs to follow up with task force. The government should also reduce these schools. What's the essence of having a public,state or private institution that ranks 25,000 in the world rankings and you call that school? Why not invest, expand and focus on the ones already gotten? If you check other African countries, Nigeria has the least destination for international students,not because we're not good,but corruption and unnecessary strikes. Here in my school, it's going and no disruption except public holidays and end of academic year. Lecturers interact with students on telegram, WhatsApp etc,they even know you by name and in the group even at night you have a challenge,they assist you. They have a strict law that governs both the students and lecturers so we know our boundaries. You misbehave,or give sex for marks,or assault a student or even take bribe and you're reported,that's your end in the school. Government schools should be more regulated,those nonsense can only happen in private institutions. So it's disappointing that Nigeria education system is still in crunches. I'm saddened my mate I left behind in Nigeria same faculty of medicine are home due to ASUU strike and here we're about ending the academic year and if the strike continue,it will take 2yrs to meet up, meaning I'll finish work while they're still in school. It's barbaric. I'll advise those who have money not to even think of private school there,but move out. You can search scholarship,or apply using transcript. Even schools in Asia,some in Africa, America,are good. Just move out,you won't regret you did. Forget the Media racist and whatever about Nigeria. It's really a pity a whole lagos state can't even boast of a standard FIFA approved stadium.

Anytime I hear Uyo,I recall their emblem"land of promise". Every good thing in Nigeria is coming there. You'll never hear corruption deals,or corrupt leaders in Uyo otherwise Uyo won't be were it's today. Everything needs sacrifice. If you look at other states,not like they don't have this infrastructures,but poor maintenance due to corruption. Everything in Uyo is up-to-date, and like moving around Europe, you enjoy the clean environs,breath good air,and you see people hustling, doing business in clean stores..not littering. All these are being paid towards adequate maintenance. Very soon,just few years from now,the whole country will be using our seaport and international airport because we've learnt and understand that corruption is major reason Nigeria is backward. If all states can have good thinking elders, that reason together and avoid corruption then produce good governors like Akwa ibom the next 8years, you'll see real change in Nigeria.

The president can't on his own, it's our corrupt state governors,chairmans etc. Leave oil aside, Akwa ibom is investing heavily on good governance, infrastructures like good road network (transportation both land and air), power (electricity), agriculture (mechanised faming), Ict, Education, Health, and light industries. Take the fast development Akwa ibom has witness in the last decade,even Calabar our root is watching us flying...(Like Uk watching USA now flying). Who train who? In Africa,only one country is making waves internationally, foreign media try to dirty Nigeria in fake crimes,yet we're pushing economy globally,we have them working with President B in Whitehouse,we have them in OPEC,we have them in UN,we have them in wto,we have them in AU,and many to mention were internet can serves.
Once the name Nigeria is mentioned,it gives many of them headache,they scramble,they have sleepless nights thinking how to react. Recently, UK, Canada made reckless attempt to ban African countries due to covid,and none of these countries speak out internationally m because they don't have people representing them. But mere including Nigeria,it was a sleepless night to them, now see the results today. They're scrambling to reverse,why? We have them in Whitehouse,we have them in UN(deputy secretary),we have them everywhere. Nigeria is dirty via media,but come inside,you regret all the fake news going viral against my beloved country. The west our colleagues knows very well,but simply because we're not giving in to pressure of legalising gay, bisexual, transgender whatever, they're crazy on us. But Naija is shifting. And the Question is, which country has highest number of internet/ social media clients in Africa? Abeg, Ghana is like Taiwan to us, make them shift, we just need to keep protecting them. Imagine if Ghana was added to the list of travel ban, they'll come to ECOWAS to get appeal first.

Don't live ignorant in 21st century. Check when ibom air was launched (2019 agree?). Then check if their flight can carry more than 100 passengers or less to start your ill calculation.
Ibom air has 2 Airbus A220 and 5 Bombardier CRJ900 making it total of 7 flights in just 2years of inception.
The A220 carry 120-160 passengers while the CRJ900 carries 90 passengers.
Note that no flight will operate with passengers less than average on any route,so while calculating,have in mind that ibom air currently operates in 6 states (Abuja,Lagos,Port Harcourt,Enugu,Uyo, and Calabar).
Now considering those route(especially big cities),in a day,there's time schedule morning to evening,and it's carrying an average passenger of 100 to and from those destinations (without empty seats). Do your calculations and see if it's not close or more than the figure celebrated today. E.g 100 passengers 7am to Abuja, Lagos, then by 9am another 100 passengers to same route,and return with same figure until evening.
In a day it carries an average of 2000-3000 passengers to those 6 destinations. Now multiply by 7days,then 1month,then 24months(which is 2years of operation). Guy,be smart and do research before you comment shit. Use your brain and your phone to learn ok.
(Take minimum of 2000 passengers a day, it will give you 1,344,000Million passengers in 2years of operations). So plus and minus,ibom air are not far from truth. I know you're either from Abia or Ebonyi, tell your Governor to make landing space so ibom air can extend her operations to your people and lift thousands out of poverty ok. First,BVN is only affected in Nigeria but that can be change if he has verified his NIN.
2nd, if his NIN is 23,let him go and change to 18 otherwise let him proceed to immigration office which I can assist so he can effect the changes. Everything can be done here in Abuja. Check my previous post and reach me via email. He'll change NIN,then passport case will be COD. Once he reach Abuja,i'll assist and within 3-4working days he'll have it just like mine. Regards

First, To be sincere here because everyone want a way out,some don't have the high amount of money needed,some just want to know.
Now, am sure you're aware what it takes to do renewal of passport about 3years old and COD (their slang for change of date of birth).
Before I travel to Abuja, I was introduced to someone (a female immigration officer who's from the East---name withheld) at passport office headquarter Abuja. On meeting her she says it will cost me 170k for everything since it has expired for 3yrs plus my date of birth. First she ask how many of my documents are affected (this was logic but I didn't grab), I simply reply her my waec,NIN,BVN and everything. She says nothing can be done except I do the changes on my passport before I can travel. Since I was desperate and a medical student,the school has given me arrival date,so if I don't do what's necessary I may missed out. So I pleaded with her for 70k,she replied I should just go back to my State and explain to my parents the cost of everything. I was left thinking for 30min on what to do. Finally she says 165k last...and collected my file, keep until when I'm ready I should let her know.
After a while I said it's ok,I left in bitterness.
This morning,before I move I told God I have no body at the immigration,help me. Now,the actual price for the changes is 33k(COD) + 25k(reissue) total 58k..but pay online and wait for interview,you'll wait until next year. There's no 32booklet at the moment. So I told God my case is urgent and I need help,show me favour,and direct my footstep to the right person.
I arrive immigration and I went inside. Long story short, I met a man and he says ok,let me see your old passport (please as a Nigerian always be truthful and straight forward). I show him,he says your case is COD,don't worry i'll direct you to somebody,just wait...not upto 2min one tall dark Hausa man appear not wearing uniform,and the security man look at me and say follow him,he'll handle your case. I mate the man and show him everything he says it will cost me 120k. He said.. to be sincere this is the price and it's urgent,I can assure you next week. Do you have the Money? I said no I'm with 70k. He return my passport to me and said when you're ready you comeback,this is not just renewal,but change of date of birth,I want to be very sincere with you,since you're a medical student,I don't know if by tomorrow am sick and you're likely to be the one treating me,bring 100k don't say anything by nextweek you get it. I told him 90k,he look at me for seconds,his friends laugh too and I was hopeless because I've heard here in Nairaland people spending 400k,300k, 200k, 140k,180k so my case shouldn't be different. He look at his time it was 12:45noon,he took me inside and meet one officer inside and said express,take him for capturing,change the date to this new one...he handed over my details to him. I saw over 100 people inside just looking at me like who's this person to pass us seated here since morning. Lols.
My nairaland people,that's how I was captured and am back to central area to report to embassy new date because they school want all medical students to report next Sunday. So with 90-100k if anyone here needs assistance,connect me and be prepared to move to Abuja and be captured. Thank me later. I'll refer you. I've assisted over 197 since last I posted this. Please you know how time consuming clinical rotation is, but I've manage to respond to everyone message on time. Many things have changed and the price up (for those looking at the old post).
I want to make sure many are not scammed and disappointed by some criminal officers or agents.

1. Passport correction
There's now a new system "booking or appointment". It can be done online and offline (for online it's free but be sure to wait 3-6months) before you can get capturing date. Offline it's fast and cost only 5k. The man will be incharge of your file and fast track.
Price of passport correction in 2023 has changed, and for correction from 1yr to 15yrs or more, note the man is 1/2 of the people who can do the correction from 1yr to over 20yrs correction. Other officers run away once it's 6yrs above.
2. "Form A" Fast-track
For those who want CBN dollar rates for paying school fees, medical tourism, business etc. Kindly visit Google type, "trade monitoring system* or copy and visit this link: https://www.tradesystem.gov.ng/
It's the central bank online page for form A and other invisible payment. Fill online with complete details and submit or visit any bank ask them Form A, they'll assist. I'll recommend GTB because they're good. Make sure the school or amount you want CBN to debit you is in your account. After you've make payment, return and send the screenshot or telex copy (proof of payment) you receive from your bank send it to my email. I'll assist you with *fast track* and within 1-2 weeks your fees or whatever you've paid will drop to the institution, company etc. I have someone also in CBN to assist (please note this is confidential). I'll also assist you with physical cash ($) to aid your traveling instead of using high cost black market.
