TEODIN:
Good morning MackyNaija, I will be migrating to the US with an immigrant visa next year, I was searching for certifications that may get me an entry level job as an Engineer/Technician over there, I came across the ASQ certified Quality Technician(CQT) and certified Quality Process Analyst(CQPA) do you think I can get a quality technician, calibration technician, QA analyst etc position with any of those certifications, How valuable are they??
My Second option is to get a Solidworks professional certification, Do you think I can get a job with it too??
Thanks, as I await your response
please what do you mean by Immigrant visa?, Is it a work visa or study visa?

Hello house, please I’m making this enquiry for my brother. He is a Veterinary Doctor (DVM) with 4years of working experience, 33yrs old. His wife (26yo) is a Nurse (Bsc) with approximately 2years of working experience. Please, what do they need to start with on this journey of EE?

Do they really have prospect in Canada? I’m suggesting Australia for them as the second choice because I don’t know if Canada is better for their professions.

Is it advisable for both of them to evaluate their certificate with WES and also write IELTS together?

What are the likely IELTS bands that can make them enter the EE pool?

I would really appreciate it if anyone can reply me.

Thanks a lot
vet Doctor and a Nurse, they're both perfect for the Canadian journey. Their profession is widely sorted for in Canada, just wait for the seniors to illuminate more on this. But from my little experience, they're good to go. Since the wife is younger, she should be the primary applicant. Just check the EE thread for more information.

cool

Only former Chief of Airstaff, Abubakar Sadique would be missed, the rest are waste of space and government fund

Major General Irabor is well qualified and experienced (theatre commander opreation lafiya Doyle) unlike the likes of Burutai

*Harvard institute of Governance, JFK center
*BSC in engineering OAU
*Defence college NDA Kaduna
*MSc Bangladesh and Msc Ghana
*Staff College Jos , Staff College Ghana

.
is Irabor a short service personnel since he studied Engineering from OAU?

Good day all,
I need your candid advice.

I have a BSc (2'1) and MSC (60 %) in Chemical Engineering and I intend to further my studies in Canada.

What Chances do I have in applying for a PhD degree using my MSc grade of 60 % as most of them are requesting for 70 - 80 %?

Does this mean that I have to apply for MSc afresh in Canada and make the required grades for PhD? How does this affect my student visa chances?

The Major aim is to get PR and at the same time, advance my studies.

Any contributions will be duly appreciated.

Thanks
if you have work experience why not go through the Skilled workers route than going through the student route, you'll spend more going through the student route except you have the cash to spend. Canadian schools are quite expensive for international student and fair enough for PR and citizens

Her IELTS scores are LRWS 8,8,7,7. our CRS is 450. Everything seems tiring. What else can we do because we been on it for while now. Looking forward for responses from expert in the house. Thanks
with her MsC, 5years working experience and IELTS of 8,8,7,7??. I think the score should be more than 450. Are you sure about the score?
Her profile is a top notch, she should be above 460

Hello Flakeyy,

Congratulations on your PPR.

Many have responded to this already, however I wanted to quickly draw your attention to "safe time to fly" for pregnant women. Please note that the internationally recommended is 32 weeks. Although some airline - specific - may allow up till 35 weeks but must include a "fit to fly" from your GP or reliable hospital. Please put this in mind as you search for the airline also enquire about their options for pregnant women.

Secondly as regards the OHIP, yes you can get help right away when you land, in fact I will advise you to contact a midwife since that is most likely what you'll be using as a resident without Health Insurance Card - surely you dont want to pay when you can be on insurance. As such, start browsing the closest midwives association closest to your choice of residence.

Also do not forget the 14day quarantine period, meaning if you have to wait to 35 weeks before flying, you'll be almost due at 37weeks.

Kindly put the above 2 factors into consideration when deciding when to fly, I sincerely wish you haven't booked yet, because as you said, please do not consider birthing in Nigeria...please do not! My wife and I even got a placement early this year with 2 midwives and had interviews and zoom sessions already without landing yet or even PPR self only for our hopes to be dashed...well as you know corona and Ottawa change hand for us...baby is now 4months and we still dey naija..lol

See the link to the Ontario midwives page, use the search option to find the closest to your choice of destination /residence.

HERE

Lastly, although I no b Accountant o, but from what I know, seen, researched and heard, please do not go for M.Sc unless you want to consider it for the grant or if you'll get scholarship. The reason is that Canada is more concerned with what you can deliver not the paper you have. Indeed, many take the Masters route to get the right Network or connection, but do not consider it as an alternative to your Professional Certification. And, don't be surprised if your Line Manager or supervisor only hold a Diploma. Infact, soft skills they say, will take you further, remember most migrants in Canada are professional from their home country. But soft skills isn't learnt in schools in many foreign countries Nigeria inclusive.

PS: please, consider the airline's "fit to fly" options and the 14days quarantine requirements.

I sincerely hope this is helpful, and I'll like to thank you for reading.
by soft skills you mean verbal, communication and interpersonal skills?? Or maybe I don't get the soft skills you meant. Please don't mind me, just trying to be clear. The soft skills I know are creativity, persuasion, adaptability and anyone can have these skills. I think you're referring mostly to the ICT skills which are hard skills

No one can say what your exact chances are but your profile looks good.
Prior publications and/or experiences/skills will always aid your cause.
What you will need to survive here are the skills in the field you intend to break into.

In my field, I am currently working to take more certifications (ASQ Certified Quality Audit0r, Suppl1er Quality Engr and Ipc A-610 - Electronic Assemblies)

Add higher level Data An4lytics (Python + Sql) to my skill set to increase my viability as a 'Business Intelligence Engineer' so when Quality Engineering stagnates, WeMove!

Religion / Re: Why Was Mary Chosen To Birth Jesus Christ? by smartkester(m): 2:52pm On Dec 27, 2020
Acehart:
Mary, the blessed.

In the reading of many journal papers, one thing common to all of them is the use of the term “keywords”. The term is used to draw the reader’s attention to the focus or essence of the paper. They are important words or concepts found in one’s research question. Keywords make one’s paper searchable. Therefore, it is important to include the most relevant keywords that will help other authors or researchers find your paper.

Keywords are always listed after the abstract of a journal paper or thesis, the first section the paper as they are drawn from the abstract.

Matthew chapter 1 has all the resemblance of an abstract: it begins with a context or background information. At the heart of an abstract is the main reason(s), the exigency, the rationale behind the research; here, the goal of this book is to tell many that Jesus Christ is the Messiah King. The main argument is the birthing of the Messiah by a virgin, a reference to a previous work done by Isaiah (Isa.7:14).

The keywords one can extract from the abstract includes (not limited to): Messiah, Conceive, Holy Spirit, Sins, Son, Virgin, and favor (from Luke 1:28).

We were told that Mary, the virgin mother, was favored. The word “favor“, charitoō (in Greek), means: specially honor due to one’s character, manner or act as a result of divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in one’s life. It is a mouthful; in simple terms, Mary was not a sinner; her manner of life was pleasing to God. The angel said to her: “Blessed are you among women”; Mary was the most righteous among all women that walked on the face of the earth.

The word “favor” was first used in the Book of Genesis to describe God’s mercy towards Noah. Like Mary, Noah was the only righteous person of all men and women that walked on the face of the earth. He was described as a preacher of righteousness (2 Peter 2:5). Before one preaches about God’s act, we know that someone preached to them to believe in God (Romans 10:14); In the times of Noah, Methuselah was the preacher.

Methuselah, a name meaning “when he dies, it shall be sent”. We do know now that in the year he died, the great flood was sent. Methuselah's name may be a prophecy that on the day of his death "his death will send" the flood. For a better part of one thousand years, one man preached that it would rain on an earth covered by mist; no one believed except Noah. Thereafter, his life was pleasing to God and he was favored with the ark - a type of Christ.

It is the believing of a preposterous message that endeared Noah and Mary to God. The scripture says: without faith (in the word of God) it is impossible to please God and be satisfactory to Him (Heb. 11:6). Mary believed God’s word, perhaps in the reading of the prophetic texts at the Jerusalem temple, that a virgin would conceive a child - her being the virgin. She believed and it was accounted to her as righteousness (in conformity to God’s will in her thoughts and acts).

Today, the preposterous message to us is this: God came down to earth (through the womb of a virgin), died on a tree for men‘s sin, was buried in a tomb and resurrected three days later. We must believe this message to be favored by God. God will not favor a sinner because He would not give that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast His pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet.

Merry Christmas everybody,

Acehart

stop using the word preposterous here, it doesn't align with your message. It seems you don't even know the meaning of preposterous. It contradicts everything you wrote

Drive your judgement from this.

Assistant Superintendent for Bsc holders and Senior Inspector for HND holders are in the same salary structure of CONPASS 08 which is around 106k per month. For training allowance, my friend who is a cadet at Nigeria Police Academy Wudil told me that their allowance is 15K monthly with breakfast, lunch and Dinner everyday.
All para-militaries in Nigeria are under Consolidated Paramilitary Salary structure which imply that the police 15k training allowance apply to NIS.

Use the simulation tool to simulate possible outcomes depending how well you pass IELTS and your age

I'm just curious to know how many years of work experience would land me on 474 CRS if I ace IELTS, under 30 years of age, and single. It seems I have been calculating wrongly, I did my simulation with just 1 year NYsC experience and it landed me on 399 CRS.

Hello seniors in the house, this is my question, can one who has a master's already in Nigeria apply for a master's degree program again in Canada?, I graduated with a 2.2 at first degree and I have Master's already in Nigeria but I really want to boost my employability when I get to Canada because I have less than 2 years work experience here in Nigeria. Does it make any tangible sense to apply for a Master's again in Canada with my Master's degree transcript(2.1) since most Canadian universities don't accept 2.2 undergraduate degree.

Please, some one should help me here, thanks.
