Wow. So, CCT dock don turn swag now? |
naijapips02:On point bro. Nigeria is so blessed. We shouldn't be dealing with this at this point in our existence. God had a special purpose for us, and our lands are blessed with so much that the rest of the world should envy us. One of our problems is that we have been divided from the very start of Nigeria. To be frank, the British didn't do us any favor putting us all together in one country. We share several different beliefs and values. There's no way you can have couples that think differently and never agree live happily, same principle applies here. Even here on NL, most threads still bring in the tribal differences. The US you mentioned has its own issues too, just not as pronounced as we make ours. I live in the US and I've been here for over a decade. I do understand they are divided too. However, accountability in their system makes people feel less pains than the Nigerian populace feel. |
hensben:That's what Ilesha weed do to its users. |
michaelwilli:I've seen different Biafra maps. I think the last one I saw had Imo, Lagos, Osun, Taraba, Oyo, Enugu and Zamfara states. Yes i think it was just those 7 states. Please google to confirm A firm map hasn't been agreed on yet as I know. |
naijapips02:But that's the idea. Not every war is entirely intended to serve the purpose the populace is expected to believe. I've learnt in life, every occurrence is overly projected by a few with a goal of accomplishing an ulterior motive. Same here in this scenario. I won't be surprised if Biafra comes to be and afterwards there are internal struggles about Biafra's leadership structure. Today we hear of lopsided appointments looking at it from a National standpoint, most likely we will hear same from a regional standpoint in Biafra. You are right, wars take years to wear off. In this case, we all knew several Ibos were massacred in the past Biafran was. If I was Ibo, and grew up thinking about what I saw my parents, grandparents and relatives went through during the war and how they're no more today, seriously I'd be upset and woukd gladly join the movement. Again, knowing that the entire Nigerian leadership sidelines people from that area will further infuriate me. Sometimes when we sleep, let's make effort to see what's happening around us in our sleep and not just sleep like a dummy. How hard is it to understand Nigeria as it is now may actually be better when divided? The whole Nigeria idea only works for a select few. |
It's high time the Biafrans get what they want. If a united Nigeria hasn't been beneficial to a region, why not just face the facts and let them be? No hard feelings, I've been hearing about Biafra since I was about 6 years old. After over 3 decades it's still the same. I love dynamics and would prefer to see the change while I'm still alive so my kids don't have to hear about this same struggle several decades from now. All I think I'll miss is the music, nothing else. By that, what will happen to Don Jazzy, D'Prince, Phyno etc whose songs I like? Well, if they can still drop hits in the Nigeria that remains across borders, I'm fine with Biafra being by itself. |
rhymaster:Which one is sane Ibos and terrorist Ibos again? Which one of both of them wants Biafra? If it's both of them, how does a sane faction cope with a terrorist faction? |
defemidefemi:Google is actually much smarter now. You can search for images like you would anything, and Google will tell you where else on the Internet the image exists. It's called reverse image search. Read the steps here https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/1325808?hl=en |
Dem never marry this one yet, she don dey claim territory. Haven't you heard of sofily sofily catche monkey? You haven't caught the monkey yet, you're forming Tupac looking at the maid like your enemy Biggy. He hasn't married you yet, and you already have problems with a maid you didn't employ. Most likely, after he marries you, you will start seeing faults in his family members. Better maintain your lane and prove to your man and his family you're indeed a wife material. Would you rely on a maid for everything if he eventually marries you? Have you thought of doing things for the home yourself? As it is now, you are easily replaceable especially when you didn't mention anything extraordinary you contribute to their home. So, just stay in your small corner and leave the maid alone. |
STILESGANG:OP no know say $35m fit buy some small countries. |
bettercreature:Even if PMB wants to dialogue, whom does he talk to? Are there any known Igbo leaders that are willing to dialogue in support of Biafra, or its those chanting on the streets PMB needs to discuss with? |
asha80:I'm just learning that today. That's some weird laws. Even developed countries dont operate like that. The states should be able tl tap into their own resources, ofcourse with an agreement to return a quota to the federal govenment. Not wait till the federal government has the time and resources to come and tap into what the state government sees everyday. |
menabadoo:Huh? So, the coal can only be harnessed by the federal government? What if the state sees more value in it than the federal government? I think the state can decide to bring in international investors to harness their resources if they wish, not sure if they need the federal government to make that call. |
Must all the refineries be fixed at once? Why not start with the cheapest to fix and move up from there? |
Name checkers, where una dey? Una miss these charge and bail lawyers names? |
Cjrane2:Wow. Why did you think so? I'd ask about the destination of the cement before blaming anything on sabotage. The contents -cement in this case- might just be intended to develop a community in that area. If the truck carried bombs, nuclear materials etc then it's ok to assume it's intended to sabotage. |
Whats the status in the east today? Another protest? Or has it ended? |
Ilekeh:You really mean business o. You been dream about Biafrans overnight? Yeh, see attack. |
If he didnt cause any permanent damage, like biting your lips, then just let it go. Afterall, it was just a kiss. It could have just been a peck you translated to a kiss cos you were young and inexperienced. You weren't raped by him, and should be glad. Don't go around hurting others. He may have even forgotten that even happened as that may have not been his intention to hurt you with a kiss/peck that you still remember till this day. |
Sorry for the loss of the kids. On the other hand, the curses following many Nigerian police officers are much. Just saying, police step on the wrong toes sometimes. |
mandhi:Everybody here is not up to 10,000. Do people know what 10 million is? That's some countries' populations combined. |
Una create this thread to yab eachother? |
Djslyge19:Can you suggest other smarter ways apart from peaceful protests? Did Boko Haram ever protest peacefully? Is that a smarter way? What happened to the airplane? You took it down? |
Where are they going? |
solonazzy:Why do you think it can't be real? It's actually a post from a pro-Biafra website, and the logic behind it is understandable. Having dual citizenship has its benefits, but one is subject to the laws in both countries. There is little the British can do, because he is also a Nigerian - at least for now while the struggle for Biafra is in still in process. |

Just a tip... You may want to design a mobile friendly version of your website. Viewing the site on a smartphone isn't really that great. Nice initiative! |
British government through her high commision has disowned the owner of Radio Biafra Mr Nnamdi Kanu who they acknowledged as British citizen of dual citizenship. Campaigners for Biafra have been staging protests over the arrest and detention of Radio Biafra host, Nnamdi Kanu by the authorities in Abuja. Kanu is a dual citizen of both the UK and Nigeria. Commenting on his detention, Abuku said the UK High Commission has a standing position stating thus: “The British government only provides consular assistance to dual nationals in the country of their other nationality in excep¬tional circumstances. “If the High Commission is approached for consular as¬sistance by a British National in Nigeria who also holds a Nigerian passport, the level of support that could be offered in their case would be discussed with the individual concerned.” Meanwhile, agency reports said the expressed position of the British High commission tallies with a widely-circulated letter written by UK Minister of State, Grant Shapps, affirm¬ing a similar position concern¬ing Biafra agitation. That letter was written in response to MP Micheal Meacher, follow¬ing an inquiry by one of Mr. Meacher’s constituents who had written to inquire about the detention of Radio Biafra host, Nnamdi Kanu. Mr. Shapps wrote the letter to an MP, Micheal Meacher, in response to an inquiry by one of Mr. Meacher’s constituents who had written to inquire about the detention of Kanu. “We are not aware of any in¬stitutionalized persecution of any people by the Nigerian au¬thorities,” he declared. “The position of the British Govern¬ment during the Biafran War is a matter of historical record,” he recalled. “Our position, which reflected the Charter of the Organization of African Unity, was to recognise the borders laid down at Indepen¬dence. There is no question that the Biafran War caused great suffering and the UK sup¬ported the reconciliation work that followed the conflict and continues to support efforts to reduce violence in Nigeria to¬day.” According to Mr. Shapps, “The UK fully supports the territorial integrity of Nigeria and President Buhari’s com¬mitment to work for a secure and prosperous Nigeria for all Nigerians. We share the con¬cern of President Buhari and all Nigerians about threats to Nigeria’s stability and are working with Nigeria to help tackle these threats, including Boko Haram. Reports quoted Abuku as saying he could not confirm the authenticity of the Hon. Grant Shapps letter as it is not their practice to confirm or deny the authenticity of leaked documents.. https://www.ipobgovernment.org/ipob1/britain-disowns-nnamdi-kanu-pledged-support-for-buhari/ |

Holyman3:Who carries what in their head? Where did you come from and what are you talking about? Who is we? Biafra? What states make up Biafra? And what's the proof the states agreed to it? Lost. What is this person saying? |
